u-City 활성화를 위한 복합단지의 인터액티브 u-서비스 모델 개발 방법 (A Development Methodology of the Interactive Ubiquitous Service Model for a Mixed-Use Complex in u-City)

  • 유비쿼터스 기술이 본격화됨에 따라 민간주도적 u-서비스 개발이 활발히 추진되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 복합단지 공간에서 활동하는 모든 참여자들을 위한 인터액티브(Interactive) u-서비스 모델 개발방법을 제시하고자 한다. 웹 2.0트렌드는 단지 내 서비스 제공자의 일방적인 정보 또는 컨텐츠 푸쉬(Push)뿐만 아니라 사용자의 참여에 의한 정보 창출과 공유를 전제로 하고 있다. 여기서 사용자 주도적 u-서비스는 다른 사용자뿐만 아니라 서비스 제공자에게 맞춤형 서비스를 창출하는데 매우 유용한 정보를 제공할 것이다. 이와 같은 인터액티브 u-복합단지에서는 정보 제공자가 사용자가 되고 정보 사용자가 정보 제공자가 되어 네트웍의 효과가 극대화되는 정보밀집형 공간이 될 것이다. 또한, 복합단지라는 제한된 장소적 특성을 고려해 볼 때 인터액티브 u-서비스가 제공하는 정보 또는 컨텐츠의 공유 및 활용의 효과가 매우 클 것으로 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Effective use of agricultural informations is crucial for 21 century farming. An interactive agricultural machinery information system was developed. It consisted of databases, knowledge bases, expert systems, a server engine, clients for a multimedia agricultural machinery information system based on Java and distributed objects technology. It is supposed to be served through a nationwide super information communication network for my farmers to utilize it interactively and quickly. Several user-friendly interface programs for users were developed to use texts, static k dynamic images, and expert systems easily. Tools for providing the informations were built with JAVA. Information providers permitted to access to the system such as agricultural machinery companies can easily add or modify the informations using distributed object technology. This system can interact among three groups : prime information provider (or system manager), permitted information providers, and farmers.

Interacting or Just Acting? -A Case Study of European, Korean, and American Politicians' Interactions with the Public on Twitter

  • Social media holds the potential to facilitate vertical political communication by giving citizens the opportunity to interact directly with their representatives. However, skeptics claim that even when politicians use "interactive media," they avoid direct engagement with constituents, using technology to present a façade of interactivity instead of a genuine dialogue. This study explores how elected officials in three regions of the world are using Twitter to interact with the public. Using the Twitter activity of 15 officials over a period of six months, we show that in addition to the structural features of Twitter that are designed to promote interaction, officials rely on language to foster or to avoid engagement. We also provide evidence that the existence of interactive features does not guarantee interactivity.

  • In order to mass-customize clothes, it is essential to take into account individual body shape using computerized 3D body models. This paper describes the development of an interactive body model that can be altered to match individual body perimeter, postures and depth for the purpose of computerized pattern making. Construction of the body model requires the extraction of necessary points, adjustment of coordinate points, linking of points by spline curves, control of section lengths and selectability of various hip types. Front to back depth of the model is adjusted by scaling ratio. We had a great result for controlling perimeter, posture and depth of body shapes. The results support the adaptability and potential usefulness of the posture and depth adjustable body model.

  • Media art, which is a combination of media technology and art, is making a lot of progress in combination with AI, IoT and VR. This paper aims to meet people's needs by creating a video that simulates the dance moves of an object that users admire by using media art that features interactive interactions between users and works. The project proposed a universal image synthesis system that minimizes equipment constraints by utilizing a deep running-based Skeleton estimation system and one of the deep-running neural network structures, rather than a Kinect-based Skeleton image. The results of the experiment showed that the images implemented through the deep learning system were successful in generating the same results as the user did when they actually danced through inference and synthesis of motion that they did not actually behave.

  • This paper discusses on the machine loading and tool allocation (MLTA) problem. Mathematical formulation of the problem is given first. Then a heuristic approach based on Group Technology (GT) is presented to deal with the MLTA problem effectively. By using this approach, part-tool group generation and their assignment to adequate machines can easily be obtained in consideration of the work load on each machine, the number of tool-set replacement, and the total number of cutting tools required through the interactive setting of the desired machine utilization rate.

  • In this paper, we demonstrate that one can teach conditional probability in a manner consistent with many features of the statistics education reform movement. Presenting a variety of applications of conditional probability to realistic problems, we propose that interactive activities and the use of technology make conditional probability understandable, interactive, and interesting for students at a wide range of levels of mathematical ability. Along with specific examples, we provide guidelines for implementation of the activities in the classroom and instructional cues for promoting curiosity and discussion among students.

  • Interactive Measuring part Program Generating Tools (IMPPGT) realized on the FANUC 15MA using touch trigger probes and interactive macro functions os the CNC were developed for an intelligent measuring and inspection systems on the machine tools. Menu driven measuring and inspection functions of the IMPPGT were studied and implemented on the CNC through the macro executer and ROM writer. In order to automate measurement and inspection procedures in machine shops measuring G Code system was also proposed. Using the developed measuring G Code system on the machine tool untended measurement and inspection operation was able to be realized in FMS lines.

  • 스토리텔링 엔진은 이야기 생성을 위한 서술 구조를 만드는 인터랙티브 스토리텔링 시스템의 핵심이다. 지금까지 스토리텔링 엔진에 대한 많은 연구가 있었지만, 본 논문에서는 기존의 스토리텔링 엔진 모델에 웹 검색 기술을 이용한 모듈을 추가하여 하이브리드 방식으로 이야기를 생성하는 스토리텔링 엔진 모델을 제안한다.
