증강현실 시스템에서 몰입감 증대를 위한 가상 및 실물 객체간의 충돌 처리 기법 개발 (A technique of collision detection between virtual objects and real objects for increasing immersion of Augmented Reality system)

  • 본 논문에서는 마커 기반의 가상 객체나 opengl 을 이용하여 구현된 가상 객체, 웹 카메라 영상 프레임을 통해 입력된 실물 객체의 충돌처리를 유효화시켜 사용자에게 보다 높은 현실성을 제공하는 증강현실 충돌기법을 제안한다. 증강현실 시스템은 현실의 환경에 가상의 객체를 추가하여 사용자에게 시각적 정보를 제공하는 시스템으로 객체간의 상호작용, 사용자와의 상호작용에 대하여 관심이 높아가고 있다. 그러나 본 논문에서 제안한 충돌처리는 상호작용에 있어서 가장 기본적인 문제가 되기 때문에 선결해야 할 문제이다. 따라서 제안된 시스템에서는 이 문제를 해결하여 마커를 기반으로 구현된 객체와 Opengl을 기반으로 구현된 가상 객체, 웹 카메라 영상 프레임으로부터 입렵된 실물 객체 사이에서 객체간의 충돌을 유효화 시킴으로써 현실성과 몰입도를 증대시킨다.

  • The development of mobile applications is fast in recent years. However, nearly all applications are for messaging, financial, locating services based on simple interactions with mobile users because of the limited screen size, narrow network bandwidth, and low computing power. Processing an algorithm for supporting a group decision process on mobile devices becomes impossible. In this paper, we introduce the mobile-oriented simple interactive procedure for support a group decision making process. The interactive procedure is developed for multiple objective linear programming problems to help the group select a compromising solution in the mobile Internet environment. Our procedure lessens the burden of group decision makers, which is one of necessary conditions of the mobile environment. Only the partial weak order preferences of variables and objectives from group decision makers are enough for searching the best compromising solution. The methodology is designed to avoid any assumption about the shape or existence of the decision makers's utility function. For the purpose of the experimental study of the procedure, we developed a group decision support system in the mobile Internet environment, MOBIGSS and applied to an allocation problem of investor assets.

  • The four-leg Voltage Source Converter(VSC) can use the DC link voltage effectively by the 3-D SVPWM method. Hence the DC battery voltage can be reduced by $15\%$ in comparison to that of the conventional line-interactive UPS system. In this paper a novel line interactive Uninterruptible Power Supply(UPS) using the two four-leg VSCs is proposed. One VSC is in parallel with the ac link reactor of the power source side, and the other is in series with the load. The parallel four-leg voltage source inverter controls the three-phase line voltage independently in order to control the line reactor current indirectly. It eliminates the neutral line current and the active ripple power of the source side using the pqr theory so that unity power factor and the sinusoidal source current can be achieved even though both the source and the load voltages have zero sequence components. The series four-leg voltage source inverter compensates the line voltage and allows it to be balanced and harmonic-free. Both of the parallel and series four-leg voltage source inverters always act as independently controllable voltage sources, so that the three-phase output voltage shows a seamless transition to the backup mode. The feasibility of the proposed UPS system has been investigated and verified through computer simulations results.

  • Human-robot cooperative tasks are increasingly required in our daily life with the development of robotics and artificial intelligence technology. Interactive reinforcement learning strategies suggest that robots learn task by receiving feedback from an experienced human trainer during a training process. However, most of the previous studies on Interactive reinforcement learning have required an extra feedback input device such as a mouse or keyboard in addition to robot itself, and the scenario where a robot can interactively learn a task with human have been also limited to virtual environment. To solve these limitations, this paper studies training strategies of robot that learn table balancing tasks interactively using deep reinforcement learning with human's facial expression feedback. In the proposed system, the robot learns a cooperative table balancing task using Deep Q-Network (DQN), which is a deep reinforcement learning technique, with human facial emotion expression feedback. As a result of the experiment, the proposed system achieved a high optimal policy convergence rate of up to 83.3% in training and successful assumption rate of up to 91.6% in testing, showing improved performance compared to the model without human facial expression feedback.

  • This paper presents a grid-interactive current controlled voltage source inverter (CCVSI) with uniterruptible power supply (UPS), which uses an inner current control loop (polarized ramp time (PRT)) and outer feedback control loops to improve grid power quality and UPS. To reduce the complexity, cost and number of power conversions, which results in higher efficiency, a single stage CCVSI is used. The operation of this system could be divided into the power quality control (PQC) state mode and the UPS state mode. In PQC mode, the system operated to compensate the reactive power demand by nonlinear load or variation in load. In UPS mode. the system is controlled to provide a sinusoidal voltage at the rated value for the load when the gird fail. To verify the proposed system, a comprehensive evaluation with theoretical analysis, simulation and experimental results for 1KVA load capacity is presented.

  • The application field of photovoltaic system has been increased widely. In the application of photovoltaic system, the utility interactive photovoltaic system(UIPVS) has benefits of not only the home energy saving in domestic system but also reduction of peak power which threaten the capacity of power plant equipment when the maximum power consumption is occurred in daytime. This paper represents the effect of the nonlinear AC load which connected to the UIPVS with parallel connection and introduces the active power filtering(APF) techniques to the UIPVS for the reactive power compensation. The enhancement of source side power quality using APF algorithm is verified using simulation.

  • Spotlight system has been made use of art works on stage such as musical and performance etc. Currently, spotlight is controlled manually through the planned path in advance. Therefore, automatic control system is necessary for manipulating spotlight on stage. In this paper, we propose the system that detects to track the multiple objects and classifies those objects, also selects an object of those ones. The proposed method can be applied to the interactive stage spotlighting system(ISSS).

  • Almost ship monitoring systems are event driven alarm system which warn only when the measurement value is over or under set point. These kinds of system cannot warn until signal is growing to abnormal state that the signal is over or under the set point. therefore cannot play a role for preventive maintenance system. This paper proposes fault diagnosis method which is able to diagnose and forecast the fault from present operating condition by analyzing monitored signals with present ship monitoring system without any additional sensors. By analyzing the data with high correlation coefficient(CC), correlation level of interactive data can be defined. Knowledge base of abnormal detection can be built by referring level of CC(Fault Detection CC. FDCC) to detect abnormal data among monitored data from monitoring system and knowledge base of diagnosis built by referring CC among interactive data for related machine each other to diagnose fault part.

  • This paper describes Trans-less type utility interactive system that is combined with buck/boost chopper applying partial resonant method, which remove Trans, and high efficient PWM inverter. Therefore, it is possible to make it lightweight, to cut down the cost, and to improve its reliability. What the merits of this system are that we con transmit arbitrary power to load and utility regardless of generating voltage magnitude and we can always obtain high factor controlling by equal phase signal with utility.
