영업사원 직무만족도의 선행변수와 결과변수 사이의 인과관계에 관한 연구 - 리더의 지원 능력과 조직시민행동을 중심으로 - (Research on the Antecedent and Consequences of Salesperson Job Satisfaction - Focused on Leadership and Organizational Citizenship -)

  • 본 연구는 Brown과 Peterson(1993)의 메타 분석에서 자료의 부족으로 실증하지 못했던 리더의 지원 역량을 직무 만족도의 선행 변수로 제안하였고 기존 조직 문헌에서 활발히 연구되었던 조직시민 행동을 직무 만족도와 관련된 인과 관계 모형에서 새로운 결과 변수로 제안하였다. 연구 모델에 대한 분석 결과 6개의 가설중 조직시민행동과 정착의향 관계에 관한 가설을 제외하고 모두 지지되었다. 이러한 실증 결과를 통해서 조직 문헌에서 많이 연구되었던 조직시민행동은 영업사원 직무 만족도의 결과 변수이지만 영업 사원의 정착 의향과는 직접적인 관련성이 없음이 밝혀졌다. 또한 Brown 과 Peterson(1993)의 실증 연구에서 직무 만족도의 선행 요인이었던 역할 모호성처럼 리더의 지원역량 변수도 조직 몰입이나 조직시민행동에 직접적인 영향을 주기 보다 직무 만족도를 통해 간접적인 영향을 주는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구 결과 회사가 영업 사원들의 정착율을 높이기 위해 신경을 써야 하는 관리 변수는 직무 만족도와 조직에 대한 몰입인 것으로 나타났다. 특히 조직에 대한 몰입은 회사에 대한 정착 의향 뿐아니라 주변 사람들에게 바람직한 시민행동을 발휘하게 하므로 단기적 정착 지표 뿐아니라 장기적인 조직 활성화를 이끌어낼 수 있다는 점에서 회사가 더욱 관심있게 관리해야 할 선행 지표라고 판단된다.

고객경험이 매장 내 체류의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 -자기해석수준의 조절효과를 중심으로- (A Study on the Influence of Customer Experience on the Intention to Stay in Store -The Moderating Role of Self-Construal Levels-)

  • 오늘날 소비자들은 쇼핑의 결과에서 느끼는 실용적인 가치보다 쇼핑행위를 하는 과정에서 느끼는 다양한 감각적 경험을 더욱 중요시 여긴다. 날이 갈수록 다양해지는 소비자 개개인의 욕구를 만족시키기 위해 소매점들은 오프라인 매장을 체험형 공간으로 탈바꿈하여 소비자들이 다양하고 즐거운 경험을 할 수 있도록 장려한다. 본 연구에서는 고객경험의 하위요소를 쾌락적 경험, 기능적 경험, 사회적 상호작용 경험으로 나누고, 이러한 고객경험의 하위요소들이 매장 내에서 소비자들이 느끼는 즐거움에 미치는 영향과 체류의도에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 뿐만 아니라, 소비자 개인의 자기해석수준에 따라서 세 가지 차원의 고객경험이 즐거움에 미치는 영향력에는 차이가 있을 것이라고 가정하였다. 본 연구의 주효과를 분석한 결과, 고객의 쾌락적 경험이 즐거움에 정(+)의 영향을 미칠 것이라는 가설1을 제외한 나머지 가설이 모두 지지되었다. 또한 자기해석수준의 조절효과를 검증한 결과, 쾌락적 경험이 즐거움에 미치는 경로에서 소비자의 자기해석수준이 유의하지 않은 영향력을 나타났으나, 기능적 경험과 상호작용경험이 즐거움에 미치는 경로에서는 자기해석수준에 따른 유의미한 영향력이 확인되었다. 최근 소비자들에게 주어진 유통채널의 선택권이 넓어짐에 따라 전통적인 오프라인 채널이 위협을 받는 상황에서 오프라인 매장 만이 차별적으로 제공할 수 있는 다양한 차원의 고객경험 효과를 본 연구가 확인함으로써 타 유통채널 간의 경쟁 또는 타 매장들 간의 경쟁에서 차별화 할 수 있는 좋은 마케팅 방안을 강구하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

로짓모형을 이용한 축제참가자의 재방문 의사 분석 (Revisit Intention of Visitors to Cultural Festival using Logit Model)

  • 본 연구는 지역별로 차별적인 문화축제가 왕성하기 이루어지는 사회적 수요에 대응하여 문화 축제참가자의 만족과 재방문 관계를 규명하기 위하여 시도되었다. 본 연구는 기존의 연구설계와 차별적으로 측제참가자의 전반적인 만족도와 프로그램별 만족도를 측정하여 만족도 변수가 재방문 의사에 미치는 영향관계를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 모형 1은 각 프로그램별 만족도와 각 설명변수 중 축제 재방문 의사표명 결정인자를 도출하는 것이다. 분석결과 축제 재방문 의사결정인자로 작용하는 변수는 설명변수 중 프로그램 만족도, 방문횟수, 관람일수 등은 정의값을 보여 긍정적으로 작용하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 소요시간은 거리마찰력의 작용으로 인하여 부의 값을 보여, 거리가 멀수록 축제 재방문 의사가 부정적으로 표출된다는 것을 보여 주었다. 모형 2는 종합적인 축제 만족도와 각 설명변수 중 축제 재방문 의사결정인자를 도출하는 모형이다. 분석결과 축제 재방문 의사결정인자로 작용하는 변수는 종합적인 축제 만족도, 출발지와 목적지간 소요시간, 방문횟수, 관람일수 등으로 나타났다. 모형 2는 모형 1과 동일하게 종합적인 축제 만족도, 방문횟수, 관람일수는 회귀계수값이 정의 값을 갖는 반면에 소요시간은 부의 값을 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로 모형 1에 비하여 모형 2의 회귀계수값이 통계적으로 보다 유의한 것으로 보인다. 이러한 분석결과는 개별적인 프로그램 만족도를 바탕으로 만족도를 측정하는 방식과 더불어 종합적인 축제 만족도를 설명변수로 모형을 설정했을 경우, 종합적인 축제 만족도 측정이 보다 유용할 면이 있다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 그러나 축제관리가 축제의 본원적인 목적을 달성하기 위해서는 축제의 프로그램별 만족이 선행되어야만 한다는 점에 유의하여야 할 것이다.

항공서비스에 대한 고객만족이 거래지속의도에 미치는 영향에 있어서 성별의 역할 (The Influence of Customer Satisfaction on Customer Loyalty and the Moderating Effect of Gender)

  • Purpose - Customer satisfaction has been considered important as a way to retain current customers. Specifically, the retention of current customers through customer satisfaction has been considered important in an industry where competition between companies is fierce. Major Korean airlines have confronted fierce competition with the growth of low cost carriers (LCCs). In order to survive, these airlines need to retain their customers. This research aims to investigate the relationships between customer satisfaction and the customer intention to remain loyal. Moreover, this study examines how the influence of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty is moderated by gender. Research design, data, and methodology - A regression model is developed in which customer satisfaction, gender, and an interaction of satisfaction and gender are predictors and the customer's intention to remain loyal is a dependent variable. To analyze this research model, data were collected from 402 university students taking a marketing class in universities in Seoul, Chung-Cheong province, and Kangwon province. After eliminating data from students who had never flown and data with missing values, a final sample of 201 was analyzed. The hypotheses were tested using SPSS 21.0. Internal reliability was supported by the results of Cronbach's α. Multiple regression was performed. Results - Empirical results showed that customer satisfaction toward the airline's service had a positive influence on the customer intention to remain loyal to the airlines. Moreover, this influence was moderated by gender. More specifically, a male customer's intention to remain loyal was more determined by his satisfaction toward airline service than a female customer's. Conclusions - This research contributes to the aviation service marketing literature by showing how customer satisfaction influences customer intention to remain loyal and how this influence is moderated by gender. More specifically, male customer loyalty is more determined by airline service satisfaction than female customers. These results have manager implications for major Korean airlines in terms of customer satisfaction and gender as ways to enhance customer retention.

외식 프랜차이즈의 광고 모델 특성이 모델 만족도, 브랜드 이미지 그리고 구매 의도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Foodservice Franchise's Advertising Model Characteristics on Model Satisfaction, Brand Image, and Purchase Intention)

  • Purpose: Marketing communication with customers is essential for companies to survive and grow in a fiercely competitive environment. Advertising is one of the most readily accepted marketing communications by consumers. Unlike a company that owns a distribution network, advertising is vital for a franchise. In general, many advertising models select celebrities. Celebrities are more likely to attract audience attention and influence consumers' purchase intentions. Customers satisfied with advertising are more likely to stay loyal and buy again when the company launches a new product. In addition, customers form a brand image through advertisements. Therefore, in this study, the effect of the characteristics of the foodservice franchise advertising model characteristics on model satisfaction, brand image, and purchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology: The survey of this study was conducted among consumers over the age of 20 who had seen a restaurant franchise advertisement and visited a store within the last 2 months. 305 copies were collected for 7 days during the survey period, from October 21 to October 27, 2021. Among the collected questionnaires, 12 insincere questionnaires were excluded, and 293 were used for analysis. SPSS 25.0 and Smart PLS 3.0 were used as data collected to test the hypothesis. Result: As a result of the study, among the advertising model characteristics of a foodservice franchise, reliability, attractiveness, expertise, and closeness all had a significant positive (+) effect on model satisfaction. In addition, reliability and closeness were found to have a significantly positive (+) effect on brand satisfaction, but attractive and expertise did not significantly affect brand image. Finally, model satisfaction was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on brand image and purchase intention. Brand image also appeared to have a significant positive effect on purchase intention. Conclusions: Research Results First, this study verified the effect of a restaurant franchise advertising model using celebrities by using the characteristics of the advertising model. Second, this study developed a conceptual structure for model characteristics - model satisfaction - brand image - purchase intention. Third, the restaurant franchise marketer needs to select a model in consideration of the privacy of the advertising model. Fourth, consumers tend to equate advertising models with advertising

외국인 환자의 의료서비스 만족도, 재방문 의사, 추천 의사에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting International Patient's Satisfaction with Korea Medical Services, Revisit and Recommendation Intention)

  • Background: This study aims to analyze quality of and satisfaction with Korea medical services and identify factors affecting medical service satisfaction, revisit, and recommendation intention among international patients. Methods: Secondary analysis of survey data conducted by Korea Health Industry Development Institute from June 10th to July 17th in 2013 was done using multiple regression and logistic regression analysis. The 191 international patients from 9 medical institutions in Seoul were enrolled. Results: The results showed that international patients were satisfied with 85.6 points out of 100.0 points. International patients appraised higher in staff service rather than other services. Factors influencing medical service satisfaction were gender, religion, medical specialty, length of stay, and quality of medical services. Quality of medical service explained 29.8% of medical service satisfaction and especially, 'doctor's care' and 'communication and patient respect' were significantly related to medical service satisfaction. Medical specialty had a significant influence on revisit intention. There were no statistically significant influencing factors of recommendation intention. Additionally, more satisfied patients were associated with higher revisit and recommendation intention. Conclusion: This study implies that quality of medical services is a critical factor for patient satisfaction and that satisfaction with medical services is an important factor for increasing revisit and recommendation intention among international patients. In addition, health care providers should consider cultural differences to enhance satisfaction with medical services for international patients. Therefore, multidimensional strategy is required to strengthen the cultural competency of healthcare providers.

An Empirical Analysis of the Influence of Entrepreneurial Orientation on Franchisees' Outlet Performance and Intention to Stay

  • Purpose - Although literature has established the relevance of entrepreneurial orientation(EO) in the performance of conventional firms, the constraining nature of franchise arrangement makes one wonders if the same relationship holds for companies operating under the business model. Research design, data, and methodology - Using Nigeria - a country with high potential for franchise growth - as a context, this study aims to explore the relevant entrepreneurial orientation skills exhibited by franchisees and show the extent to which these skills influence their business performance and intention to remain. 26 franchisees purposively selected from six local franchise brands in Nigeria were interviewed. Result and Conclusions - The three classic entrepreneurial orientation factors of innovativeness, proactiveness and risk-taking were found to have varying influence on franchisees' business outcomes. This study answers the calls for more in-depth understanding of the relationship between EO and firm performance generally and, franchise firm performance in particular. The value of this effort lies in the fact that it strengthens theory and updates literature on the subject. Based on the findings, specific recommendations are offered to help improve the practice of franchising in Nigeria.

A Study on Intention to Adopt Digital Payment Systems in India: Impact of COVID-19 Pandemic

  • Digitalization and digital transformations have metamorphized the face of Financial Inclusion globally, more so, in cash obsessed economies like India. The purpose of our study is to empirically analyze the users' intention to adopt digital payment systems, post Demonetisation, during the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The conceptual framework for the study is based on the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) adoption model with added operationalized constructs of Perceived Risk and Stickiness to use Cash. A total of 326 respondents were surveyed using a pre-tested questionnaire during the Nationwide Lockdown 3.0 in India. These responses were analyzed using Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) technique. The findings of the study revealed that performance expectancy and facilitating conditions directly influence the intention of individuals to use digital payment systems, whereas the effect of perceived ease of use on digital payment systems is mediated through the attitude towards the digital payment systems during COVID-19 pandemic situation. Implications of the proposed adoption model are discussed. This will enable the other developing economies to formulate a digital ecosystem, that is here to stay even after the pandemic.

호텔 이용 의도에 따른 호텔 브랜드, 서비스 지각과 호텔 선택의 구조적 관계 (The Model Structure on Hotel Brand, Service Quality Perception and Choice along Intention of Use)

  • 호텔 기업은 고객에게 최고의 숙박과 식사 시설을 제공하여야 한다. 또한 고객에게 최고 품질의 서비스를 해야 한다. 고객의 호텔 선택 기준은 매우 까다롭다. 숙박 이용, 식당 이용, 컨벤션 이용 의도에 따라 호텔 선택의 기준도 다르며, 호텔 인지도도 달라진다. 본 연구는 이러한 호텔 이용자의 이용 의도에 따라 호텔 선택의 영향을 분석하였다. 분석 방법은 구조적 모형 검증 방식을 통하여 실시하였다. 연구 결과의 특징은 식당 이용, 숙박 이용, 컨벤션이용 의도에 따라 호텔 선택을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그렇지만 호텔 브랜드 지각 또는 서비스 품질지각에 따라 호텔을 선택하는 가설을 채택하지는 못했다.

Anomalies of the Healthcare Sector Using Workplace Safety and Job Satisfaction: A Case Study of Pakistan

  • This study aims to investigate the impact of workplace safety on doctors' retention and turnover intention along with job satisfaction as the mediator. A questionnaire-based survey was conducted with 394 medical doctors working in thirty-five hospitals in Pakistan using a structural equation modeling. Results of the study showed that: 1) workplace safety has a significant positive relationship with employee retention; 2) workplace safety has a significant negative relationship with turnover intention; 3) workplace safety has a significant positive relationship with job satisfaction; 4) job satisfaction has a significant positive relationship with employee retention; 5) job satisfaction has a significant positive relationship with turnover intentions; 6) job satisfaction mediates between workplace safety and employee retention; while 7) job satisfaction failed to mediate between workplace safety and turnover intentions. The findings of the study suggest that in a fear-free and safe environment, employees' chance to stay will increases. The study also suggests that dissatisfied employees do not need to leave the organization. There can be other factors that can be explored in future studies. This study also provides a practical implication for the doctors' low retention and high turnover, specifically in the healthcare sector of Pakistan by providing guidelines to the human resource executives to focus on the strategic implementation of workplace safety.
