  • There are many economic and operational reasons to integrate fire alarm signaling system with other building automation system. Integration of this requires open network with for the standard communication protocol and careful design practices. The important point for this is also the development of intelligent control modules for replacing the conventional zone adapter in fire system. Therefore, this paper proposes an new conceptual design of the open distributed fire alarm signaling system for the integration of BAS, a new intelligent control modules with LonTalk protocol and a new control modules for power line communication. Newly proposed additions to LonWorks network make it very well suited for integrating fire systems with other building automation sub-systems and another BAS with low cost. Additionally, it is very important that best design practices, test procedures and building codes need to be modernized to accommodate integrated building systems.

  • In recent years, most of the researches on pattern recognition are for medical diagnosis or for characters recognition. In fact its applications are very wide. In this paper, the pattern recognition is employed by linguistic translation, i.e. the output of Pattern Recognition is translated into another language. In this paper, it focuses on several fields: (1) System overview-explicate the functions of each part individually; (2) Criteria on the system-discuss the difficulties in each part; (3) System implementation-discuss how to design the approaches for constructing the system. Furthermore, intelligent approaches are considered be use on the system in different parts. They are discussed in the late paper, and also we concentrate on user interface, which can make a serious of processes in order, and easy control-just only pressing a few buttons. It is a new and creative attempt in digital system.

  • The MICE(Meeting, Incentive travel, Convention, and Exhibition) industry grows steadily. Especially, exhibition industry plays an important role as the effective sales and marketing tools. However, lots of studies have focused on the flow analysis of audience traffic, booth recommendation or formulaic interactions between audiences and contents in the exhibition hall. In this study, we proposed an intelligent Interactive system considering audience's response for providing personalized exhibition service. First, we extracted components of the system architecture through the previous studies. Second, we suggested the system architecture and scenarios for intelligent interactions between audiences and contents. We hope that the proposed system will strengthen the basis for implementing interactive system in the exhibition industry.

  • In this paper, the intelligent landscape lighting power control and monitoring system with solar sell generator equipment is proposed. The first, the intelligent landscape lighting power controller is designed using the fuzzy logic control method. And the fuzzy logic controller is used to save power consumption for various reference intensity of the illumination. The second, the GUI monitoring system is presented. It has control and display faculty. And the practical experiment device is used to evaluate the performance criteria of the proposed intelligent landscape lighting power control system with the solar cell power generation equipment. From the experiment results, we present the property of proposed fuzzy controller such as steady state error, the tracking and power consumption characteristic for the reference intensity of illumination. And also we show the superiority of power control as well as the characteristic of GUI monitoring system in the proposed system.

PREDICTION OF WELDING PARAMETERS FOR PIPELINE WELDING USING AN INTELLIGENT SYSTEM

  • In this paper, an intelligent system to determine welding parameters for each pass and welding position in pipeline welding based on one database and FEM model, two BP neural network models and a C-NN model was developed and validated. The preliminary test of the system has indicated that the developed system could determine welding parameters for pipeline welding quickly, from which good weldments can be produced without experienced welding personnel. Experiments using the predicted welding parameters from the developed system proved the feasibility of interface standards and intelligent control technology to increase productivity, improve quality, and reduce the cost of system integration.

  • 요즈음, 지능형 교육 시스템은 자기 주도적 학습 기능을 이용한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 웹 기술 기반 온라인 가상대학에 접속하면, 온라인 강의를 언제 어디서나 공부할 수 있다. 지능형 학습 시스템을 구현하기 위해서는, 취약과목과 못하는 과목을 실시간으로 판단하는 기능이 필요하다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해서, 수준별 학습 능력과 보안 알고리즘을 모의실험 하였다. 뿐만 아니라, 본 논문에서는 지능형 교육시스템을 구현하기위해서, QR 코드 및 지능형 교육 학습 시스템을 제안 하였다.

  • This paper deals with the development of an intelligent CAD system for specifying the operation sequence in cold forging. Cold forging technology is facing with various new design requirements. Therefore, it is very important to develop a decision method for the operation sequence, with comparatively high adaptability to the new requirements. An intelligent CAD system which is the uncertain factors in human knowledge into consideration by applying fuzzy theory is established. Various actual design data about were organized, and these organized data were applied to the system as the case base. The system automatically generates the design data of operation sequence such as the forming method and the geometric data of products in each operation stage by the reasoning method applied the fuzzy pattern matching. By comparing the design results in the above system with the actual design data of a human expert, this paper presents that our method is useful for practical application.

  • Intelligent Wearable Module is intelligent system that arises when a human is part of the feedback loop of a computational process like a certain control system. Applied system is mobile robot. This paper represents the mobile robot control system remote controlled by Intelligent Wearable Module. So far, owing to the development of internet technologies, lots of remote control methods through internet have been proposed. To control a mobile robot through internet and guide it under unknown environment, We propose a control method activated by Intelligent Wearable Module. In a proposed system, PDA acts as a user interface to communicate with notebook as a controller of the mobile robot system using TCP/IP protocol, and the notebook controls the mobile robot system. Tlle information about the direction and velocity of the mobile robot feedbacks to the PDA and the PDA send new control method produced from the fuzzy inference engine.

  • 본 연구는 차세대 정보시스템으로 정착되어 가는 지능형 정보시스템의 등장배경과 개념, 그리고 지능형 정보시스템 구축에 필요한 기술인 객체지향 시스템, 전문가 시스템, 하이퍼미디아 등을 고찰하였다. 나아가 이들 기술이 문헌정보학의 영역에 적용되어 개발된 시스템을 중심으로 지능형 정보시스템을 소개하였고 앞으로의 전망에 대해 기술하였다.
