필름형 센서를 이용한 센서 제어기 및 모니터링 시스템 구현 (Implementation of Sensor Controller and Monitering System Using Film Type)

  • 누수 검출(Leak Detection)은 인류의 소중한 자원인 물을 제어하여, 자연재해에 대비하고, 건물 및 각종 산업 시설등의 피해를 방지하기 위한 시스템이다. 특히 화학물질이나 기름의 유출은 심각한 환경적 오염이 발생하기 때문에, 각종 액체(기름, 물)의 누출을 감지하고, 액체가 누출되는 지점을 초기에 감지하여, 환경오염을 최소화하고, 누수로 인한 장비의 파손방지 및 국가의 소중한 물 자원을 안전하게 사용할 수 있도록 한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 보완하여 특화된 필름형 센서를 이용하여, 숙련된 엔지니어가 아니라도, 설비나 벽면 등 어느 곳이라도 누구나 쉽게 설치할 수 있다. 또한 불필요한 회로를 줄이고, 필름 센서와 연동 구동 시 큰 가격 경쟁력을 갖고, 검출하고자 하는 액체 및 주변 사용 환경에 따라 민감도를 설정할 수 있는 필름형 센서를 이용한 센서 제어 기 및 모니터링 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • Many people all over the world have been conducting a great deal of research to solve the problem of global warming since the great majority consider reduction of CO2 as the only solution for that. That is why the production and conservation of energy is thought to be highly crucial. while it is important to produce energy with the high efficiency, the efficient use of the energy is also important. This paper focused on the development of devices for the reducing electricity which is a primary energy source used in homes, shops, buildings, factories and so on. Also the objective of this paper is to develop the inference mechanism as the core component of the devices. Therefore, in this paper, we propose the inference algorithm for reducing the electricity consumption using SARIMA mode and present the feasibility of the procedure.

중복도형 인텔리전트빌딩 화재시 연기제어를 통한 피난안전성 확보에 관한 연구 (A Study on Securing Safety of Evacuation through Smoke Control in Case of Fire at the Central Corridor Type Intelligent Buildings)

  • This study investigated the smoke blocking and control systems for the safety of residents evacuation and for the prevention of smoke spread through the central corridor in the event of central corridor type of intelligent building fire. We offered additional ways of utilizing smoke ventilators and intake ventilation equipment and utilized CFD-based fire simulation program(FDS Ver.5.5.3) in order to analyze the effect. As a result, many differences in the smoke block effect, depending on the application of smoke ventilator and location of installation, was found. In addition, the result was found that larger effect was showed not in the case of application of smoke ventilator in central corridor only but application in fire room. The reason is that the smoke leakage is blocked primarily as air is flowed in the fire room through open door by operation of intake smoke ventilator in the public corridor and secondarily, the smoke leakage to the public corridor could be blocked as fire and smoke were released to the opened smoke ventilator continuously. Especially, the effect was maximized through complex interactions by applying smoke ventilator and intake ventilation equipment in corridor together rather than applying smoke ventilator and intake ventilation equipment independently. The proposed measure through this study shall be considered from architectural plan as one of ways for blocking from smoke spread to the central corridor in the central corridor type of intelligent building. In addition, flaws on regulation shall be established and supplemented.

Self Localization of Mobile Robot Using UHF RFID Landmark

  • The goal of this paper is to develop a self localization of mobile robot using UHF RFID landmark. We present landmark, a location sensing archetype system that uses UHF Radio Frequency Identification (UHF RFID) technology for locating objects inside buildings. The major advantage of landmark is that it improves the overall accuracy of locating objects by utilizing the concept of reference tags. Based on experimental analysis, we demonstrate that passive UHF RFID is a viable and cost-effective candidate for indoor location sensing. We conduct a series of experiments to evaluate performance of the positioning of the landmark System. In the standard setup, we place RF Reader which has two antennas and 25 tags in our lab. This research uses the assumption-based coordinates (ABC) algorithm[3] for determining the localization of robot. Also, we show how Radio Frequency Identification (UHF RFID) can be used in robot-assisted indoor navigation for the visually impaired. The experiments illustrate that passive UHF RFID tags can act as reliable landmark that trigger local navigation behaviors to achieve global navigation objectives.

스마트 시티용 IoT/LPWA 기반 저전력 태양광 패널 모니터링 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on IoT/LPWA-based Low Power Solar Panel Monitoring System for Smart City)

  • 4차 산업혁명을 통해 지능형 연결 사회를 기반으로 한 스마트 시티가 형성되고 있다. 스마트 시티에서 태양 에너지를 비롯한 신재생 에너지의 사용이 증가하고 있으나, 신재생 에너지의 모니터링 및 관리의 어려움으로 인한 시스템 수요가 증가하고 있다. 또한 환경 및 물리적 요인에 대한 데이터를 수집하고 모니터링하기 위한 무선 센서네트워크 기반 IoT 기술이 접목되고 있으나, 실시간 측정을 위한 안정적인 전원 공급이 필수적인 상황이다. 이에 본 논문에서는 LoRaWan을 비롯한 IoT 기술 기반의 스마트 시티에 적용할 수 있는 효율적인 태양 에너지 기반 전력 관리 기법에 대하여 제안하였으며, 이를 기반으로 태양광 패널 시스템의 오동작 방지 및 모니터링을 수행할 수 있다. 제안한 기술을 통해 태양광 패널 시스템에서 생성된 전력을 최대로 출력하여 각 그리드에 분배할 수 있으며, Simulink 기반 시스템 모델링과 실시간 에뮬레이션을 기반으로 효율성을 입증하였다.

Dynamic intelligent control of composite buildings by using M-TMD and evolutionary algorithm

  • The article deals with the possibilities of vibration stimulation. Based on the stability analysis, a multi-scale approach with a modified whole-building model is implemented. The motion equation is configured for a controlled bridge with a MDOF (multiple dynamic degrees of freedom) Tuned Mass Damper (M-TMD) system, and a combination of welding, excitation, and control effects is used with its advanced packages and commercial software submodel. Because the design of high-performance and efficient structural systems has been of interest to practical engineers, systematic methods of structural and functional synthesis of control systems must be used in many applications. The smart method can be stabilized by properly controlling the high frequency injection limits. The simulation results illustrate that the multiple modeling method used is consistent with the accuracy and high computational efficiency. The M-TMD system, even with moderate reductions in critical pressure, can significantly suppress overall feedback on an unregulated design.

LCC-LCA 통합 분석에 의한 친환경 건설기술 평가방법 (Evaluation Method of Green Construction Technologies Using Integrated LCC and LCA Analysis)

  • 건물의 생애주기 동안 사용되는 자원과 에너지를 절약하기 위한 친환경 기술들의 개발이 점차 확대되고 있다. 이러한 수많은 친환경 기술을 건축물에 무분별하게 적용하는 것은 많은 비용과 시간을 필요로 한다. 따라서 친환경 기술을 선택적으로 건축물에 적용하기 위한 위선순위 선정이 필요하다. 이러한 친환경 기술의 우선순위 선정을 위해선 친환경 기술의 경제적 가치를 정확히 파악하는 것이 중요하지만 현재는 친환경 기술의 정확한 경제적 가치를 분석하지 못하고 있다. 친환경 기술은 건물의 생애주기 동안 $CO_2$ 배출량을 감소시키고 투입되는 비용을 감소시키는데 목적이 있으며, 따라서 이러한 친환경 기술의 가치 평가 시 경제적 요소뿐만이 아닌 환경적 요소도 함께 고려되어야 한다. 본 연구는 친환경 기술의 경제적 가치를 종합적으로 판단할 수 있는 LCC-LCA 통합 경제성 분석방법을 활용하여 친환경 기술의 가치평가를 실시하고, 이를 사례에 적용하여 그 타당성을 검증하고자 하였다. Case study 결과, 친환경 기술은 경제적 요소와 환경적 요소가 함께 고려되어야 더욱 가치가 높아졌다. 그리고 우선순위 분석에서는 친환경 지능형 컴포넌트 기술이 가장 높은 순위로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 발주자가 프로젝트 기획 시 건축물에 적용할 친환경 기술의 선정을 위한 의사결정에 도움을 줄 수 있으며, 향후 개발되는 다른 친환경 기술의 우선순위 도출을 위한 선행연구로 활용될 것이다. 또한 친환경 기술의 평가항목은 본 연구의 평가항목 이외에 추가적인 항목들이 존재할 수 있으므로, 향후 이러한 평가항목들을 선정하여 경제성 평가 시 활용한다면 보다 정확한 평가를 수행할 수 있을 것이다.

  • Maintenance works for current high-rise buildings significantly depend on human labor, unlike other construction processes that are gradually being automated. Herein, this paper proposes robotic building maintenance system using motion control, in specific, reducing a system jerk which is directly subjected to improve the process performance and economic feasibility. The sensor for detecting straight and curvature section of the building facade, moreover rail-joint segment can be detected and be utilized for reducing jerk of the system. Analysis of the proposed system error caused by excessive vibration, e.g. jerk motion is introduced. To enhance the stability and safety of the system, herein, the strategy is proposed for enhancing the performance of the system based on anti-jerk motion control algorithm which comes out increasing the stability and sustainability of the integrated system, as well.

Realistic and Efficient Radio Propagation Model for V2X Communications

  • Multiple wireless devices are being widely deployed in Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) services on the road to establish end-to-end connection between vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I) networks. Vehicular ad hoc networks (VANETs) play an important role in supporting V2V and V2I communications (also called V2X communications) in a variety of urban environments with distinct topological characteristics. In fact, obstacles such as big buildings, moving vehicles, trees, advertisement boards, traffic lights, etc. may block the radio signals in V2X communications. Their impact has been neglected in VANET research. In this paper, we present a realistic and efficient radio propagation model to handle different sizes of static and moving obstacles for V2X communications. In the proposed model, buildings and large moving vehicles are modeled as static and moving obstacles, and taken into account their impact on the packet reception rate, Line-of-sight (LOS) obstruction, and received signal power. We use unsymmetrical city map which has many dead-end roads and open faces. Each dead-end road and open faces are joined to the nearest edge making a polygon to model realistic obstacles. The simulation results of proposed model demonstrates better performance compared to some existing models, that shows proposed model can reflect more realistic simulation environments.

지식 경영 프로세스의 모형에 관한 탐색적 연구 (An Exploratory Study on the Knowledge Management Process Models)

  • Today a knowledge management systems (KMS) is an enabler for gaining competitive position in the market environments. However, it is just recognized as a conceptual management paradigm not as realistic management philosophy in an organization. A firm just accustomed to deal with tangible assets such as inventory and buildings based on the cumulated experiences. However, the firm often struggle with how to define and apply the knowledge management system into its real business activities such as business strategy and productivity. For example, one of textile company, E-land, in Korea found the way how the firm utilize intelligent assets of its employees to overcome the performance differences among the employees in an organization to increase their ability. Managers in an organization should fully understand and try to figure out the concept of knowledge management systems to implement KMS more efficiently and effectively. Even though lots of previous knowledge management literature proposed several unique knowledge management process models, they have their own terms, process sequences, or different approaches. There are three common knowledge management processes: knowledge creation, knowledge store and search, knowledge sharing process. In this study, a new KM process theoretical framework based on the previous researches is developed. This study will guide to those who will adopt or implement of KMS in the organization in near future.
