  • 현재 우리나라에는 최첨단의 정보통신 서비스를 제공을 목적으로 ubiquitous city(u-City)가 건설 중에 있다. 이들 도시에서 ITS(Intelligent Transportation Systems)는 도시거주민들에게 적절한 교통정보를 제공하는 동시에 최적으로 도시교통을 제어하는 방안이다. ITS의 한 부분으로서 교통흐름에 적합한 교통신호제어가 필요하며 이를 위해 많은 교통정보를 실시간으로 수집하여야 한다. 이러한 교통정보의 수집은 도시운영을 위하여 최첨단 정보통신 서비스가 제공되는 u-City에서는 어렵지 않을 것이다. 이러한 미래지향적인u-City의 ITS 교통제어에 적합한 새로운 시스템에 대하여 이 논문에서는 연구하였다.

  • In this paper, a controller design for ironless linear synchronous motor is proposed. The designed controller is mainly composed of speed and current control, which are carried out by the high-speed digital signal processor(DSP). In addition the PWM inverter is controlled by space voltage PWM method. This system is implemented using by 32-bit DSP(TMS32OC31), a high-integrated logic device(EPM940), and IPM(Intelligent Power Module) for compact and powerful system design. The experimental results show the effective performance of controller for careless linear synchronous motor.

  • 현재 IT기술과 자동차기술을 융합한 지능형 자동차에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중에 있으며 많은 새로운 서비스 모델들이 개발 중에 있다. 지능형자동차에 대한 개발이 활발하게 이루어지면서 자동제어 센서를 이용한 다양한 서비스가 제공이 되고 있다. 이러한 지능형 자동차가 자동제어센서를 이용한 서비스가 제공되면서 다양한 보안위협 요소가 도출되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 자동차의 외부에서 자동제어센서에 침입하여 지능형자동차의 보안위협 요소를 분석하고 지능형 자동차의 보안 솔루션의 모델에 대한 기법을 제안하고자 한다. 솔루션 모델의 경우 네트워크 침입 탐지 및 방지시스템을 이용한 기법으로 제안한다.

  • 현재 우리나라에서 사용되는 대부분의 교통신호 체계는 교통량의 변화와 상관없이 규칙적인 신호주기를 반복하는 방식으로 교통 패턴이 안정되어 변동량이 적은 경우에는 적합하나, 현장교통상황에 능동적으로 조정되지 못하고, 소방차나 구급차와 같이 긴급을 요하는 차량에 대한 대처가 힘들다는 단점이 존재한다. 따라서 유기적인 현장교통상황에 능동적으로 대처하고, 긴급차량에 대한 합리적인 대처 방법이 필요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 문제점을 해결하고자 기 설치된 신호 후방 CCTV를 이용하여 지능적으로 신호체계를 제어하고, 긴급차량에 대해 신호우선권을 부여함으로써, 위급상황에 유기적으로 대처할 수 있는 지능형 교통신호 제어 시스템을 설계하였다.

  • Vehicular communications have been receiving much attention in intelligent transport systems(ITS) by combining communication technology with automobile industries. In general, vehicular communication can be used for vehicle-to-vehicle(V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure( V2I) communication by adopting IEEE802.11p/1609 standard which is commonly known as wireless access in vehicular environment(WAVE). WAVE system transmits signal in 5.835~5.925 GHz frequency band with orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) signaling. In this paper, after 32 bit processed the channel monitoring in MAC(Media Access Control) layer of WAVE system implemented according to IEEE 802.11p standard, data were received and we evaluated the performance, we built the test bed consisting of OBU(On Board Unit) in the real expressway. We transmitted WSM(WAVE Short Message) and received WSM between OBU wirelessly. And then, we calculated channel occupancy time per one frame and throughput, and evaluated the performance.

  • This paper proposes a medium access control protocol for collision detection and resolution when a large number of sensor nodes transmits data in vehicle. The proposed protocol selects a random collision detection (CD) slot after data transmission, suspends its transmission and senses the channel to check whether a collision occurs by the detection of both energy level and jam signal. The proposed scheme uses multiple CD phases and in each CD phase, colliding stations are filtered and only surviving stations compete again in the next CD phase; thus, the collision resolution probability significantly increases. Simulation results show that the proposed protocol using the multiple CD phases has significantly better throughput than the conventional protocol. In addition, according to the number of CD phases and the number of CD slots per phase, the throughput aspect of the proposed scheme is investigated and the optimal parameters are derived.

  • In this paper, a VCDRO(Voltage Control Dielectirc Resonator Oscillator) for signal source of doppler radar system is designed and fabricated. The proposed VCDRO is made with new tuning mechanism using CPW line. The coplanar waveguide of $\lambda_{g}$/2 in length with varactor diode is placed on the metallization side under the dielectric resonator and coupled to it. Tuning varactor diode is mounted at one end of the CPW. The proposed circuit tuned by a CPW allows one more varactor diode to be mounted on the optimized CPW, where a greater sensitivity of frequency tuning is needed. With varying the biasing voltage for the varactor diode from 0 V to 15 V, output frequency tuning of 12 MHz is obtained. The PLDRO exhibits output power of 16.5 dBm with phase noise in the phase locked state characteristic of -115 dBc/Hz at 100 Hz, -105 dBc/Hz at the 10 kHz, and -102 dBc/Hz at 1 Hz offset from 10.525 GHz , respectively.

Queue Detection using Fuzzy-Based Neural Network Model (퍼지기반 신경망모형을 이용한 대기행렬 검지)

  • Real-time information on vehicle queue at intersections is essential for optimal traffic signal control, which is substantial part of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS). Computer vision is also potentially an important element in the foundation of integrated traffic surveillance and control systems. The objective of this research is to propose a method for detecting an exact queue lengths at signalized intersections using image processing techniques and a neural network model Fuzzy ARTMAP, which is a supervised and self-organizing system and claimed to be more powerful than many expert systems, genetic algorithms. and other neural network models like Backpropagation, is used for recognizing different patterns that come from complicated real scenes of a car park. The experiments have been done with the traffic scene images at intersections and the results show that the method proposed in the paper could be efficient for the noise, shadow, partial occlusion and perspective problems which are inevitable in the real world images.

  • In this paper, we use the interface, which many countries concentrates research of Brain - Computer Interface with the device and MyndPlay based on the IoT intelligent Arduino. Finally we will make the Brain - Computer Connection environment, the purpose of Brain - Computer Interface. Recognizes the EEG of a person who wearing the equipment, analyze, classify, and we did a research to design an intelligent thing to suit user's condition. In addition, we use the XBee, and Bluetooth to communicate to other devices, such as smart phone. In conclusion, this paper check users current status via brain waves, and it allows to control the power and other objects by using the EEG(Electroencephalography).

  • The Japanese developed the first Car navigation system in 1981 with the advent of Honda, which was known as the car inertial navigation system. Now days, It is possible to search the shortest route to and from places and arrival time using the internet via cell phone to the driver based on GIS and GPS. However, even with a good navigation system, it losses the shortest route when there is an average speed of the vehicle being between S-15 kilometers. Therefore, in order to improve the vehicle waiting time and average vehicle speed, we are suggesting an optimal green time algorithm using fuzzy adaptive control, where there are different traffic intersection lengths, and lanes. In this paper, to be able to assist the driver and forecast the optimal traffic information with regards to the road conditions; dangerous roads, construction work and estimation of arrival time at their destination using internet.
