사용자의 인지욕구 특성이 온라인 커뮤니티 충성도와 브랜드 태도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impacts of users' Needs for Cognition(NFC) on the Online Brand Community and Brand Loyalty)

  • The brand-based online community recently plays an important roles for consumers to facilitates searching and sharing information among them. Firms often find such a brand community as a critical channel to gain collective intelligence for developing new ideas and products. As a new web platform such as web 2.0 has been introduced, consumers could more easily participate in the new social networks created by sharing mutual value and belief among themselves. Accordingly firms began to recognize potentials of online brand assets and pay attention to the importance of online brand community loyalty. Previous research related to online community tends to focus on identifying the antecedents of community loyalty and their subsequent impacts on brand. They, however, tend to neglect the importance of individual characteristics of online community users. As integrating the fragmented variables with an individual characteristics, therefore, this study reexamined the impacts of interactivity, information, reward, and personalization services provided by an online brand community on the sense of community, community loyalty, and brand attitude. Also, this study investigated how users' individual characteristics(need for cognition: NFC) can play moderating roles among the variables identified in the previous research. A field survey was administrated and 671 valid samples were collected. In order to test the hypothesis we conducted the multi-sample structural equation modeling(MSEM) between two groups(a group with high vs. a group with low level of NFC). Results show that previously identified variables such as interactivity, information, reward, and personalization services have significant effects on the sense of community as previous research demonstrated. Subsequently, the sense of community positively influences the community loyalty and brand attitude. However, when considering the NFC as a moderating variable, we found that the effect of interactivity and reward service on the sense of community was stronger for a group with a lower level of NFC compared to a group with a higher level, while the effect of information providing service on the sense of community was stronger for a group with a higher level of NFC compared to a group with a lower level. This research revealed that NFC can affect the degree of individual perception on the sense of community which has been considered as an important indicator for the community loyalty and brand attitude. Hence, when firms developing customer relation strategy through building an online brand community, they need to reflect customers' NFC and accordingly provide varying degree of interactivity, information, reward, and personalization services.

Real-World Application of Artificial Intelligence for Detecting Pathologic Gastric Atypia and Neoplastic Lesions

  • Purpose: Results of initial endoscopic biopsy of gastric lesions often differ from those of the final pathological diagnosis. We evaluated whether an artificial intelligence-based gastric lesion detection and diagnostic system, ENdoscopy as AI-powered Device Computer Aided Diagnosis for Gastroscopy (ENAD CAD-G), could reduce this discrepancy. Materials and Methods: We retrospectively collected 24,948 endoscopic images of early gastric cancers (EGCs), dysplasia, and benign lesions from 9,892 patients who underwent esophagogastroduodenoscopy between 2011 and 2021. The diagnostic performance of ENAD CAD-G was evaluated using the following real-world datasets: patients referred from community clinics with initial biopsy results of atypia (n=154), participants who underwent endoscopic resection for neoplasms (Internal video set, n=140), and participants who underwent endoscopy for screening or suspicion of gastric neoplasm referred from community clinics (External video set, n=296). Results: ENAD CAD-G classified the referred gastric lesions of atypia into EGC (accuracy, 82.47%; 95% confidence interval [CI], 76.46%-88.47%), dysplasia (88.31%; 83.24%-93.39%), and benign lesions (83.12%; 77.20%-89.03%). In the Internal video set, ENAD CAD-G identified dysplasia and EGC with diagnostic accuracies of 88.57% (95% CI, 83.30%-93.84%) and 91.43% (86.79%-96.07%), respectively, compared with an accuracy of 60.71% (52.62%-68.80%) for the initial biopsy results (P<0.001). In the External video set, ENAD CAD-G classified EGC, dysplasia, and benign lesions with diagnostic accuracies of 87.50% (83.73%-91.27%), 90.54% (87.21%-93.87%), and 88.85% (85.27%-92.44%), respectively. Conclusions: ENAD CAD-G is superior to initial biopsy for the detection and diagnosis of gastric lesions that require endoscopic resection. ENAD CAD-G can assist community endoscopists in identifying gastric lesions that require endoscopic resection.

다중지능을 활용한 100대 교육과정의 학교 독서교육 프로그램 유형 분석 (An Analysis of Program Types for School Reading Education Included in the 100 Excellent Curriculum by Multiple Intelligences)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 교육과정을 기반으로 한 학교 독서교육 프로그램의 방향성을 분석하고, 학교도서관과 사서교사가 기여할 수 있는 방안을 모색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 2015 개정 교육과정이 처음 적용된 2016학년도 100대 우수 교육과정 보고서에 포함된 학교 급별 독서교육 프로그램의 유형을 다중지능을 활용하여 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 학교 독서교육 프로그램은 인간친화지능을 중심으로 운영되고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 초등학교는 지역사회 연계 독서를 가장 많이 운영하고, 중 고등학교는 학생 독서 동아리 활동을 가장 많이 운영하였다. 언어 지능 관련 독서교육 프로그램의 경우 초등학교에서는 책읽어주기, 중학교는 문학작품으로 쓰기, 고등학교는 감상문 쓰기를 가장 많이 운영하였다. 공간 지능 관련 독서교육 프로그램의 경우 모든 학교급에서 매체제작 유형이 가장 큰 비중을 차지했다. 다만, 자연친화 지능과 관련된 독서 프로그램은 나타나지 않았다. 이러한 분석 결과를 토대로 2015 개정 교육과정하에서 학교도서관이 독서교육 프로그램 활성화를 위하여 이바지할 방안을 교육 공동체 중심지로서 교사 학생 학부모 연계 프로그램 개발, 창작 공간설치 운영, 사서교사의 프로그램 관리 및 탐구기반학습 역량 신장 측면에서 제안하였다.

Community-acquired Achromobacter xylosoxidans infection presenting as a cavitary lung disease in an immunocompetent patient

  • Achromobacter xylosoxidans is a gram-negative bacterium that can oxidize xylose. It is commonly found in contaminated soil and water but does not normally infect immunocompetent humans. We report a case of a cavitary lung lesion associated with community-acquired A. xylosoxidans infection, which mimicked pulmonary tuberculosis or lung cancer in an immunocompetent man. The patient was hospitalized due to hemoptysis, and chest computed tomography (CT) revealed a cavitary lesion in the superior segment of the left lower lobe. We performed bronchoscopy and bronchial washing, and subsequent bacterial cultures excluded pulmonary tuberculosis and identified A. xylosoxidans. We performed antibiotic sensitivity testing and treated the patient with a 6-week course of amoxicillin/clavulanate. After 2 months, follow-up chest CT revealed complete resolution of the cavitary lesion.

  • 최근, 예상치 못하고 지능적인 보다 고도화된 사이버 의료 위협 공격이 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 하지만 다양한 패턴의 사이버 의료 위협 공격 대응에 있어, 물리적인 차단과 의료기기 교체와 같은 규칙 기반 보안방법론은 인력 부족, 고가의 비용 부담 등의 한계를 지닌다. 이를 해결하기 위한 방안으로 최근 의료계에서도 인공지능 기술에 주목하고 있다. 인공지능 기술은 기존의 규칙 기반의 보안 프로그램과는 달리 과거의 이상행태를 스스로 학습하여 보안 위협 감지 및 예측을 가능케 하는 기술이다. 본 연구에서는 의료기관 통합의료정보시스템 내 의료정보 데이터를 수집 및 학습하여 AI 기반 네트워킹 행동 적응형 정보 플랫폼 개발 연구 방법론에 대한 소개를 포함한다. 이를 통해 규칙 기반의 보안 프로그램의 기술적 제반사항 소개와 제약 사항 대비 의료정보분야에서의 인공지능 기술을 활성화하기 위한 전략에 대해 논의한다.

  • 최근에 커뮤니티 컴퓨팅에서 그룹형성과 그룹 의사결정에 관한 이슈가 제기되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 커뮤니티 컴퓨팅 시스템에서는 그룹의 욕구를 인지함에 있어서 임시적인 방법으로 그룹을 형성하지 못하고 있다. 임시적인 방법의 그룹형성은 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅의 의사결정지원 시스템과 서비스에서 중요한 특성 가운데 하나이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유목 커뮤니티 컴퓨팅에서 임시적으로 욕구를 인지하고 그룹을 형성할 수 있는 NAMA-US 에이전트 중심의 다중 에이전트 방법론을 제시하고자 한다. 이 방법론은 어떤 커뮤니티에서 상대적으로 작은 그룹의 복수의 개별 사용자의 그룹의사결정을 지원할 때 다음과 같은 세 가지 특성을 만족하고자 한다. 첫째 임시적인 그룹형성과, 둘째 상황인지 그룹 욕구인지, 그리고 셋째 실내. 외에서 동작 가능한 모바일 장비의 활용이다. RFID 기반의 프로토타입 시스템인 NAMA-US는 본 연구에서 제시하는 이런 개념을 실현시키기 위해 구축되었다.

Application of ChatGPT text extraction model in analyzing rhetorical principles of COVID-19 pandemic information on a question-and-answer community

  • This study uses a large language model (LLM) to identify Aristotle's rhetorical principles (ethos, pathos, and logos) in COVID-19 information on Naver Knowledge-iN, South Korea's leading question-and-answer community. The research analyzed the differences of these rhetorical elements in the most upvoted answers with random answers. A total of 193 answer pairs were randomly selected, with 135 pairs for training and 58 for testing. These answers were then coded in line with the rhetorical principles to refine GPT 3.5-based models. The models achieved F1 scores of .88 (ethos), .81 (pathos), and .69 (logos). Subsequent analysis of 128 new answer pairs revealed that logos, particularly factual information and logical reasoning, was more frequently used in the most upvoted answers than the random answers, whereas there were no differences in ethos and pathos between the answer groups. The results suggest that health information consumers value information including logos while ethos and pathos were not associated with consumers' preference for health information. By utilizing an LLM for the analysis of persuasive content, which has been typically conducted manually with much labor and time, this study not only demonstrates the feasibility of using an LLM for latent content but also contributes to expanding the horizon in the field of AI text extraction.

온라인 정보원의 유형별 신뢰지수 및 신뢰성 평가요인 (Confidence Indicators and Evaluation Factors of Credibility According to the Types of Online Information)

  • 본 연구는 온라인 정보원을 12개 유형으로 범주화한 다음 전국적 규모의 대규모 온라인 설문조사를 통해, 온라인 정보의 유형별 신뢰도 실태조사 및 신뢰지수의 도출, 그리고 온라인 정보의 유형별 신뢰성 평가요인에 대해 분석한 것이다. 본 연구 결과 드러난 몇 가지 중요한 사실은 다음과 같다. 우선 온라인 정보원의 유형별 '신뢰지수'는 뉴스 사이트에 게시된 정보(72.553), 금융기관(68.894), 정부기관(67.938), 카페(66.464), 포털(65.001), 집단지성(63.489), 비영리기관(63.392), 일반기업(59.789), 블로그(59.066), 온라인 토론방(55.609), 전자상거래 사이트(55.118), 미니홈피(50.695)의 순으로 나타났다. 다음으로 유형별 온라인 정보원의 신뢰성 평가 요인에 대한 분석에서, 전체적으로 보아 '널리 알려진 웹 사이트이다'는 요인은 온라인 정보원 정보원의 유형에 관계없이 대부분의 범주에서 신뢰성 평가를 위한 주된 요인이 되고 있으며, 카페나 블로그, 미니홈피, 토론방, 집단지성 등의 신뢰성 평가에는 게시된 글의 조회 수나 댓글 등과 같은 다른 이용자의 의견이, 그리고 금융기관이나 일반기업, 정부기관이나 비영리기관 등은 해당 기관의 평판이 신뢰성 평가의 주된 요인이 되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 현재 다양한 정보통신기술들이 독거노인 돌봄과 치매노인 실종방지 등에서 폭넓게 활용되고 있으며, 향후 커뮤니티케어 정책을 통해 인공지능과 로봇활용 비대면 돌봄은 향후 더욱 다양한 영역에서 활용될 전망이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 4차 산업혁명에 관한 정부정책 방향에 기반하여 커뮤니티케어에 활용도가 점차 증가하고 있는 인공지능 기술 기반 돌봄서비스 현황과 활용 및 활성화 전망을 모색해보고자 하였다. 커뮤니티케어에 활용될 수 있는 서비스인 AI 스피커와 돌봄로봇은 노인층이 경험하고 있는 다양한 문제를 해결하는데 도움이 되며, 감성적인 기능을 추가하여 대화 부족이나 외로움을 해소하는데도 활용하고 있다. 향후 AI 기술을 활용한 커뮤니티케어 활성화를 위해서는 첫째, 커뮤니티케어 고령자의 AI기기 친밀화를 위한 지속적인 교육과 고령층을 위한 '사용자 경험(User Experience, UX) 디자인'이 필요하며, 둘째, 기능위주의 기술 활용보다는 상호보완적 관계를 가지고 감성적인 상호관계가 가능한 인간중심의 기술 활용이 필요하며. 셋째, 사용자의 자기결정권 보장, 사생활 보호 등의 윤리적 문제를 해결할 필요가 있다.

집단지성의 품질, 그 결정요인, 유용성의 관계: 수용자 관점에서 한국의 위키서비스와 Q&A 서비스의 비교 (Relationships between Collective Intelligence Quality, Its Determinants, and Usefulness: A Comparative Study between Wiki Service and Q&A Service in Perspective of Korean Users)

  • Innovation can come from inside or outside organizations. Recently, organizations have begun turning to external knowledge more often, through various forms of collective intelligence (CI) as collaborative platform to solve complex problems. Several factors facilitate this CI utilization phenomenon. First, with the rapid development of Internet and social media, numerous web applications have become available to millions of the Internet users over the past few decades. Web 2.0 and social media have become innovative web applications that provide an environment for human social interaction and collaboration. Second, the diffusion of simple and easy-to-use technologies that enable users to interact and design web applications without programming skills have led to vast, previously unknown amounts of user-generated content. Finally, the Internet has enabled communities to connect and collaborate, creating a virtual world of CI. In this study, web enabled CI is defined as a composed ability of individuals who are acting as a single cognitive unit to achieve common goals, think reasonably, solve problems, make decisions, carry out complex tasks, and develop creative ideas collectively through participation and collaboration on the web. Although CI plays a critical role in organizational innovation and collaboration, the dubious quality of CI is still problem that is difficult to solve. In general, the quality level of content collected from the crowd is lower than that from professionals. Thus, it is important to identify determinants of CI quality and to analyze the relationship between CI quality and its usefulness. However, there is a lack of empirical study on the quality factors of web-enabled CI. There exist a variety of web enabled CI sites such as Threadless, iStockphoto or InnoCentive, Wikipedia, and Youtube. One of the most successful forms of web-enabled CI is the Wikipedia online encyclopedia, accessible all over the world. Another one example is Naver KnowledgeiN, a typical and popular CI site offering question and answer (Q&A) services. It is necessary to study whether or not different types of CI have a different effect on CI quality and its usefulness. Thus, the purpose of this paper is to answer to following research questions: ${\bullet}$ What determinants are important to CI quality? ${\bullet}$ What is the relationship between CI quality factors and the usefulness of web-enabled CI? ${\bullet}$ Does CI type have a moderating effect on the relationship between CI quality, its determinants, and CI usefulness? Online survey using Google Docs with email and Kakao Talk was conducted for collecting data from Wikipedia and Naver KnowledgeiN users. A totoal of 490 valid responses were collected, where users of Wikipedia were 220 while users of Naver KnowledgeiN were 270. Expertise of contributors, community size, and diversity of contributors were identified as core determinants of perceived CI quality. Perceived CI quality has significantly influenced perceived CI usefulness from a user's perspective. For improving CI quality, it is believed that organizations should ensure proper crowd size, facilitate CI contributors' diversity and attract as many expert contributors as possible. Hypotheses that CI type plays a role of moderator were partially supported. First, the relationship between expertise of contributors and perceived CI quality was different according to CI type. The expertise of contributors played a more important role in CI quality in the case of Q&A services such as Knowledge iN compared to wiki services such as Wikipedia. This implies that Q&A service requires more expertise and experiences in particular areas rather than the case of Wiki service to improve service quality. Second, the relationship between community size and perceived CI quality was different according to CI type. The community size has a greater effect on CI quality in case of Wiki service than that of Q&A service. The number of contributors in Wikipeda is important because Wiki is an encyclopedia service which is edited and revised repeatedly from many contributors while the answer given in Naver Knowledge iN can not be corrected by others. Finally, CI quality has a greater effect on its usefulness in case of Wiki service rather than Q&A service. In this paper, we suggested implications for practitioners and theorists. Organizations offering services based on collective intelligence try to improve expertise of contributeros, to increase the number of contributors, and to facilitate participation of various contributors.
