  • The current Private 5G use procedure goes through the step of application examination, use and usage inspection, and can be divided in to application, examination step as a procedure before frequency allocation, and use, usage inspection step as a procedure after frequency allocation. Various types of documents are required to apply for a Private 5G, and due to the document screening process and radio station inspection for using Private 5G frequencies, the procedure for Private 5G applicants to use Private 5G is complicated and takes a considerable amount of time. In this paper, we proposed Frequency Allocation Process for Private 5G using a blockchain platform, which is fast and simplified than the current procedure. Through the use of a blockchain platform and NFT (Non-Fungible Token), reliability and integrity of the data required in the frequency allocation process were secured, and security of frequency usage information was maintained and a reliable Private 5G frequency allocation process was established. Also by applying the RPA system that minimizes human intervention, fairness was secured in the process of allocating Private 5G. Finally, the frequency allocation process of Private 5G based on the Ethereum blockchain was performed though a simulation.

  • Since the Korean government has decided to apply the policy of BIM (Building Information Modeling) to the entire construction industry, it has experienced a positive trend in adoption and utilization. BIM can reduce workloads by building model objects into libraries that conform to standards and enable consistent quality, data integrity, and compatibility. In the domestic architecture, civil engineering, and the overseas landscape architecture sectors, many BIM library standardization studies have been conducted, and guidelines have been established based on them. Currently, basic research and attempts to introduce BIM are being made in Korean landscape architecture field, but the diffusion has been delayed due to difficulties in application. This can be addressed by enhancing the efficiency of BIM work using standardized libraries. Therefore, this study aims to provide a starting point for discussions and present a classification system for objects and attribute information that can be referred to when creating landscape libraries in practice. The standardization of landscape BIM library was explored from two directions: object classification and attribute information items. First, the Korean construction information classification system, product inventory classification system, landscape design and construction standards, and BIM object classification of the NLA (Norwegian Association of Landscape Architects) were referred to classify landscape objects. As a result, the objects were divided into 12 subcategories, including 'trees', 'shrubs', 'ground cover and others', 'outdoor installation', 'outdoor lighting facility', 'stairs and ramp', 'outdoor wall', 'outdoor structure', 'pavement', 'curb', 'irrigation', and 'drainage' under five major categories: 'landscape plant', 'landscape facility', 'landscape structure', 'landscape pavement', and 'irrigation and drainage'. Next, the attribute information for the objects was extracted and structured. To do this, the common attribute information items of the KBIMS (Korean BIM Standard) were included, and the object attribute information items that vary according to the type of objects were included by referring to the PDT (Product Data Template) of the LI (UK Landscape Institute). As a result, the common attributes included information on 'identification', 'distribution', 'classification', and 'manufacture and supply' information, while the object attributes included information on 'naming', 'specifications', 'installation or construction', 'performance', 'sustainability', and 'operations and maintenance'. The significance of this study lies in establishing the foundation for the introduction of landscape BIM through the standardization of library objects, which will enhance the efficiency of modeling tasks and improve the data consistency of BIM models across various disciplines in the construction industry.

  • This study suggested implications by dividing the concept of brand origin into national image and manufacturing capacity image, verifying the direct impact of these variables on brand trust and brand loyalty, and verifying the difference between products with the effect on brand trust of brand origin, which is the result of verification. The specific implications of this paper are as follows. First, brand origin does not directly affect brand loyalty, but it can have a direct impact on the preceding variable, brand loyalty. This study may conclude that it is desirable to define the factors that affect the purchase selection indirectly through the assessment of product properties or positive effects on brand image rather than having a direct impact on product purchase or selection. Second, the difference in brand origin influence by product characteristics was very evident. Past studies were limited to a few products, so pan-product testing was not conducted, and the empirical power was judged to be limited, so this study included a variety of products and tried to detect differences between products through actual empirical research. Involvement and self-congruity have been presented with results that can be judged as important variables for brand origin to affect brand performance and variables. Looking at the role of the brand origin for each product characteristic by distinguishing between product characteristics and whether or not products related to quality, history, authenticity, etc., the product recognized as high quality and the product recognized as having high integrity showed higher effect of the brand origin, but history was a product characteristic that did not show the effect of the brand origin.

  • A great variety of nuclear gamma rays emitted from fission and activation products of spent nuclear fuel contains much information that can be elicited without affecting the integrity of the fuel elements. But the extraction of such information from the complex spectrum is difficult and requires computer codes. In the present work, a versatile code 'CAERI' was developed which locates peaks and calculates their areas for X-rays as well as gamma rays using elegant features of some widely used programs for gamma-ray peak fitting. 'CAERI' coded in FORTRAN used infinite series approximation more accurate than other workers various, simple, piecewise series approximations for evaluations of the Voigt function which represents the X-ray peak with non-negligible natural line width. 'CAERI' can handle even a complex multiplet consisting of peaks from X-rays and gamma rays in arbitrary mixture, which one often encounters in the isotopic analysis of heavy elements such as U and Pu. The results of the fitting performed on the test spectra of $^{177m}\;Lu\;{\gamma}-ray\;and\;^{235}U\;K_{\alpha}$X-ray show good agreement with those by previous workers.

  • As R&D(Research and Development) is going on actively to develop technologies for the ubiquitous computing environment, which Is the human-oriented future computing environment, GIS dealing with spatio-temporal data is emerging as a promising technology. This also increases the necessity of the middleware for providing services to give interoperability in various heterogeneous environments. The core technologies of the middleware are real-time processing technology of data streams coming unceasingly from positioning systems and data stream processing technology developed for non-spatio-temporal data. However, it has problems in processing queries on spatio-temporal data efficiently. Accordingly, this paper designed and implemented the spatio-temporal middleware that provides interoperability between a mobile spatio-temporal DBMS(DataBase Management System) and a server spatio-temporal MMDBMS(Main Memory DataBase Management System). The spatio-temporal middleware maintains interoperability among heterogeneous devices and guarantees data integrity in query processing through real-time processing of unceasing spatio-temporal data streams and two way synchronization of spatio-temporal DBMSs. In addition, it manages session for the connection of each spatio-temporal DBMS and manages resources for its stable operation. Finally, this paper proved the usability of the spatio-temporal middleware by applying it to a real-time position tracking system.

  • Sensor nodes are used for monitoring and collecting the environmental data via wireless sensor network. The wireless sensor network with various sensor nodes draws attention as a key technology in ubiquitous computing. Sensor nodes has very small memory capacity and limited power resource. Thus, it is essential to have energy efficient strategy for the sensor nodes. Since the sensor nodes are operating on the same frequency bands with ISM frequency bands, the interference by the devices operating on the ISM band degrades the quality of communication integrity. In this paper, the convolutional code is proposed instead of ARQ for the error control for the sensor network. The proposed convolutional code was implemented and the BER performance is measured. For the fixed transmitting powers of -19.2 dBm and -25dBm, the BER with various communication distances are measured. The packet loss rate and the retransmission rate are calculated from the measured BER. It is shown that the porposed method obtained about 9~12% and 12-19% reduction in retransmission rate for -19.2 dBm and -25 dBm respectively.

  • An artificial disturbance like fragmentation in watershed forest has impacted a sustainability of watershed ecosystem, therefore this research quantified the landscape structure in the Geumho river watershed using landscape indices and GIS. Landscape indices were calculated from the forest distributed maps for 24 subwatersheds. Three common factors, which explained about 85% of the variation in the original data, were extracted by a factor analysis. The fragmentation gradient in forest landscape, which was calculated from the factor scores, was correlated with proportion of urban land (r=0.827, p<0.01, $R^2$=0.685), elevation (r=-0.637, p<0.01) and slope gradient (r=-0.593, p<0.01). The result of the study presented that the methodology and the values of landscape indices to assess the structural patterns of forest landscape for the Geumho river watershed management. Future research will be directed towards the detection of impacts of landscape patterns and their changes on the integrity of watershed environments.

  • As an important basic building block of the smart grid environment, smart meter provides real-time electricity consumption information to the utility. However, ensuring information security and privacy in the smart meter data aggregation process is a non-trivial task. Even though the secure data aggregation for the smart meter has been a lot of attention from both academic and industry researchers in recent years, most of these studies are not secure against internal attackers or cannot provide data integrity. Besides, their computation costs are not satisfactory because the bilinear pairing operation or the hash-to-point operation is performed at the smart meter system. Recently, blockchains or distributed ledgers are an emerging technology that has drawn considerable interest from energy supply firms, startups, technology developers, financial institutions, national governments and the academic community. In particular, blockchains are identified as having the potential to bring significant benefits and innovation for the electricity consumption network. This study suggests a distributed, privacy-preserving, and simple secure smart meter data aggregation system, backed up by Blockchain technology. Smart meter data are aggregated and verified by a hierarchical Merkle tree, in which the consensus protocol is supported by the practical Byzantine fault tolerance algorithm.

  • Most of the convergence studies argue the reform of the current policy regime of broadcasting and telecommunications in Korea from two perspectives: 1) the media governance perspective and 2) the media industry perspective. The former emphasizes the need of integrity, consistency and efficiency of the regime in the convergence environment, while the latter focuses upon the growth and development of the media industry making the best of economic and industrial opportunities that are spawned by digital convergence. Although their arguments are logical and robust, they are lopsided in terms of legalism and myopic economism due to the linear perception of institutionalism, Bureaucratic administrative practices as well as ostentatious IT policies that have chronically plagued the policy regime in Korea cannot be resolved by simply assimilating distinct regulatory bodies and laws. Unless these two issues are properly addressed, the convergence of media policy institutions would end up a half-success or half-failure contrary to the exportations of existing studies.
