JACOBI DISCRETE APPROXIMATION FOR SOLVING OPTIMAL CONTROL PROBLEMS

  • This paper attempts to present a numerical method for solving optimal control problems. The method is based upon constructing the n-th degree Jacobi polynomials to approximate the control vector and use differentiation matrix to approximate derivative term in the state system. The system dynamics are then converted into system of algebraic equations and hence the optimal control problem is reduced to constrained optimization problem. Numerical examples illustrate the robustness, accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.

  • 반도체 제조 공정 중에 CMP(Chemical Mechanical Planarization)는 디바이스의 집적도(degree of integration)에 크게 영향을 미치고 있으므로, 20nm급 이하의 디바이스에서 CMP 공정 안정화는 양질의 소자 특성을 확보하기 위해서는 시급한 문제가 되고 있다. CMP 공정 안정화를 위해서는 여러 가지 해결되어야 할 문제가 있는데, 그 중에서도 W plug 연마 공정 중에 관찰되고 있는 W missing은 전기 배선의 신뢰성에 직접 영향을 주고 있으므로 공정 엔지니어에게는 도전적인 과제이다. 본 연구에서는 W missing 현상을 전기화학적인 입장에서 해석하고 몇 가지 해결책을 제기하고자 한다.

Personalization of Document Warehouses: Formalization, Design and Implementation

  • In the decision-making domain, a document warehouse is designed to meet the analysis needs of users who may have a wide variety of analysis purposes. In this paper, we propose to integrate the preferences and interactions of users based on profiles to the concept of document warehouses. These profiles guarantee the integration of personalized documents and the collaborative recommendation of documents between different users sharing common interests.

  • Pneumatic cushioning cylinders are commonly employed for vibration and shock control. A mathematical simulation model of a double acting pneumatic cushioning cylinder designed to absorb shock loads is presented which is based on the following assumptions; ideal equation of state isentropic flow through a port conservation of mass polytropic thermodynamics single degree of freedom piston dynamics and energy equivalent linear damping. These differential equation can be solved through numerical integration using the fourth order Runge-Kutta method. An experimental study was conducted to validate the results obtained by the numerical integra-tion technique. Simulated results show good agreement with experimental data. The computer simulation model presented here has been extremely useful not only in understanding the has been extremely useful not only in understanding the basic cushioning but also in evaluating different designs.

  • Achievement degree can be improved by display offering more effective process about cognitive, pattern recognition than making observers use memory, integration, and cognitive process of control. And this research is proved by several scholars' researches [4][5][7][9]. In this study, researches was conducted about cognition according to layout of object in instrument panel. To decide layout of instrument panel, Cognition value was preferentially decided about all location. And then, objects are arranged to correct position of low cognition following the inferior procedure about each location. As a result, we get conclusion that gauge location is taken in high importance order through mechanical importance degree bringing huge damage during driving forklift-truck.

  • The transitional characterisics of oscillations and rotational speeds from the starting to the stationary states in damped single degree of freedom systems acted upon the rotor unbalance forces are studied. Angular travel is assumed to vary with time. The theoretical analysis is obtained by using Laplace transform method. Integration involved in the theoretical results is carried out by the numerical analysis program of continuous-time linear systems to arbitrary inputs. It is evident that the transitional charcterixtics of a machine are affected remarkably by damping ratios, stationary angular velocity time and frequency ratios.

통합실업보험제의 후생분석 (Integration of Unemployment Insurance with Retirement Insurance and Its Welfare Analysis)

  • 본고는 실업보험과 연금을 통합시켜 실직자가 실업급여 이외에 자신의 미래 연금을 담보로 대출을 받게 되는 통합실업보험제의 후생효과를 분석하고 있다. 특히 본고에서는 통합실업보헙제가 기존 실업보험제에 비해 후생을 증가시키는 경우를 제시하고 구체적으로 이 제도하에서 실업급여와 연금담보대출의 적정수준을 결정하는 요인을 분석하였다. 일반적으로 통합실업보험제가 기존 실업보험제에 비해 후생적으로우월하고 실업급여 수준은 근로자 위험기피도, 구직유인의 중요성 그리고 실업기간의 상대적 크기에 따라 달라짐을 보이고 있다. 그밖에 본고에서는 같은 원리에 의해 연금을 실업보험 뿐아니라 다른 사회보험과도 동시에 통합하는 것이 후생적으로 바람직함을 강조하고 있다.

Proposal for a Sensory Integration Self-system based on an Artificial Intelligence Speaker for Children with Developmental Disabilities: Pilot Study

  • Conventional occupational therapy (OT) is conducted under the observation of an occupational therapist, and there are limitations in measuring and analyzing details such as degree of hand tremor and movement tendency, so this important information may be lost. It is therefore difficult to identify quantitative performance indicators, and the presence of observers during performance sometimes makes the subjects feel that they have to achieve good results. In this study, by using the Unity3D and artificial intelligence (AI) speaker, we propose a system that allows the subjects to steadily use it by themselves and helps the occupational therapist objectively evaluate through quantitative data. This system is based on the OT of the sensory integration approach. And the purpose of this system is to improve children's activities of daily living by providing various feedback to induce sensory integration, which allows them to develop the ability to effectively use their bodies. A dynamic OT cognitive assessment tool for children used in clinical practice was implemented in Unity3D to create an OT environment of virtual space. The Leap Motion Controller allows users to track and record hand motion data in real time. Occupational therapists can control the user's performance environment remotely by connecting Unity3D and AI speaker. The experiment with the conventional OT tool and the system we proposed was conducted. As a result, it was found that when the system was performed without an observer, users can perform spontaneously and several times feeling ease and active mind.

Ayres의 감각통합중재 중심원리에 따른 치료사의 치료수행도 조사 (Fidelity in Core Principles of Ayres Sensory Integration$^{(R)}$ Intervention: In Clinical Practice)

  • 목적 : 본 연구에서는 자기-평가 방법을 이용하여 Ayres의 감각통합중재 중심 원리를 바탕으로 한 치료사의 치료적 수행 정도를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 연구기간은 2010년 5월부터 6월까지이었고, 연구대상은 감각통합중재를 하고 있는 치료사 66명이었다. 자기 기입식 설문지를 이용하여 Ayres의 감각통합중재 중심원리에 따라 치료를 수행하는 정도를 자기-평가하도록 하였다. 설문지는 감각의 기회제공, 적절한 도전의 과제 제공, 활동을 선택할 기회 제공 등 Ayres의 감각통합중재 중심 원리에 대한 10가지 항목으로 구성하였다. 총 66부의 수거된 설문지는 기술통계를 이용하여 분석하였고, T 값을 통해 퍼센타일을 알아보았다. 결과 : 모든 치료사들은 Ayres의 감각통합중재 중심 원리의 10가지를 모두 고려하여 치료하는 것으로 나타났다. 10가지 Ayres의 감각통합중재 중심 원리 중 자기 조직화 가이드 중심 원리를 제외하고 90%이상에서 종종, 자주, 항상 고려하여 치료하고 있었다. 감각의 기회제공, 적절한 과제제공, 활동 선택 기회제공, 아동의 성공을 최대화, 신체적 안전성 보장, 치료적 존중의 감정 조성은 T 값 50점 이상을 나타냈다. 자기 조직화 가이드, 적절한 각성 유지, 놀이 환경의 조성, 아동이 치료실 정리에 참여는 T 값 50점 이하를 나타냈다. 결론 : 지속적인 Ayres의 감각통합중재 중심 원리에 따른 치료사의 자기 수행에 대한 평가를 통해 치료의 질을 점검하고 높이는 것이 필요하다.

An Analysis of the Mediterranean Cruise Ports' Network Using Social Network Analysis

  • The cruise industry in the Mediterranean region increased from 2000-2018, being the second most important region after the Caribbean. The purpose of this study was to analyze the networks and hub ports of the Mediterranean. This paper used the SNA (Social Network Analysis) methodology, which includes Hub and Authority Combined Centrality (HACC) that has been used to analyze cruise port centrality, as well as degree centrality such as In-Degree, Out-Degree, and Betweenness. This empirical study suggests that the top three ports of the Mediterranean ports' network in terms of hub index are Barcelona, Civitavecchia, and Palma de Mallorca. The academic implications are the suggestion for data integration based on real itineraries and numbers of POC (Port of Calls), as well as the selection of the hubs of the targeted areas. The practical implications are suggested such as a clear requirement for cruise industry, as a way to widen the scope for the Mediterranean region and a valuable reference for cruise ship companies to select the best fit home ports.
