With the recent increase in maintenance works on water and sewer pipes as well as district heating supply pipes, pavement cutting work using pavement cutter is on the rise. The pavement cutting operation generates considerable dust (cutting sludge) as well as noise; therefore, it is necessary to apply eco-friendly technologies that have low noise and dust recovery capability. Thus far, various equipment for recovering dust have been developed; however, there is a limitation in that the environmental friendliness is not quantified. Therefore, in this study, we developed a low-noise, dust-recovery type pavement cutter that can fundamentally remove the causes of environmental hazards such as noise and dust and evaluated the eco-friendliness of the pavement cutting process performed by this cutter. To this end, an integrated water cooling-sludge recovery system composed of a vacuum device and a sludge suction unit was developed, and the developed system was applied to a pavement cutter. Subsequently, the developed equipment was applied to the test bed, and data related to its eco-friendliness were collected and evaluated. The results showed that the cutting sludge recovery rate of the developed equipment was greater than 83%, the noise level was approximately 82 - 83 dB, and the sound power level was 115 dB. The results of this study will be used as basic data to develop improved pavement cutters in the future with improved cutting sludge recovery performance and lower noise.

The tidal current patterns at Keum River Estuary before and after the construction of coastal structures were compared according to the CASES. The depth-integrated and tidal difference treatment applied FLOW2DH numerical model was used for the tidal current predictions. The test conditions consisted of before construction of coastal structures (CASE1), after construction of coastal structures (CASE2), and the addition of watergate operation(CASE1Q and CASE2Q), and present (CASE3). CASE1 showed a stable tidal current pattern, such as a natural estuary. In CASE2, the tidal current velocities and directions of the Keum River Estuary were changed due to the installed coastal structures. In particular, the tidal current velocities of the Gaeya open channel sections (P5~P9) in CASE2 were calculated to be 10~30% larger than that of CASE1. In the case of the Gunsan Inner Harbor (P4), which is closest to the Geum River Estuary, the ebb flow rate was approximately 250~300% faster than that of other CASEs due to the discharge of the watergate operation for 2.7 hours during the ebb of CASE1Q and CASE2Q. This will affect sediment transport, and it is predicted to lead to seabed changes. CASE3 is considered to be entering the stabilization stage according to the simulation of the tidal current velocities and directions of the Keum River Estuary and the surrounding coastal area.

Military vessels are complex weapon systems consisting of various integrated onboard equipment. Since their acquisition of military equipment takes a long period of time and a prototype ship is deployed and tested, vessel development has relied on its proprietary process. However, due to the growing complexity of onboard equipment technology, application of systems engineering (SE) process has become indispensable. Nonetheless, an effective design process complementing the existing design with the SE has not yet been developed. As such, we have studied an improved basic design process for submarines based on SE. To do so, we analyzed the processes for the basic design, technical review, and requirement management. Included reviews and requirements are SRR, SFR and PDR, and SSRS, SSS, and SSDD. By combining the results in the SE framework, we built an improved basic design process that can be applied in parallel with the SE-based technical review and requirement management. To assess the process, we applied our proposed model to the submarine development undergoing the basic design phase. It is possible to effectively manage the requirements, design artifacts and improve traceability, and also utilize them as test and evaluation materials. The SE-based basic design process is expected to be useful in other kinds of vessel design.

According to the Maritime Safety Act, there are all 34 routes including 5 traffic safety zones, 3 traffic separation schemes, 26 routes designated by regional maritime affairs departments in the Republic of Korea. In the SOLAS convention, the route information should be is effectively used for the safe navigation. However, the route information is complicatedly composed of the location of the route, the navigation rule by each route, the restriction of the navigation, and the anchorages. Moreover, the present method of providing information using the navigational chart and other publications is not effective for users to grasp the navigational information. Therefore, it was conducted to study the design of the S-100 based routing information data model developed by the International Hydrographic Organization to find ways to more effectively provide route information. To do this, the analysis of route requirement, selection of items, encoding test and users' review were carried out. Through expert user review, it was evaluated that the study on the design of the route information data model can be utilized as a good basic data for the route information integration service. Future research on the development of route information data models is expected to provide integrated route information services.

This study has done to search for a solution to remove risk limitedly caused by separating weapon system acquisition from operation and maintenance at the view point of Logistic Commander who's responsible for stable operation and maintenance after acquiring weapon system. At the System development stage, unverified overhaul development plan may cause additional manpower and costs after the development, and furthermore it is likely to have risk to lower reliability of the military. Thus, research and development agency should write overhaul development plan at the System development stage, and it should be verified through evaluation and verification test. Secondly, during research and development, institutional supplementation is needed to calculate human and material resources writing overhaul development plan. Thirdly, it should be able to analyze proper operation & maintenance plan and cost for overhaul plan at the pre-investigation stage. Fourthly, the base which can develop overhaul concept and overhaul factors should be included in the need and need determination document. Lastly, for the weapon system which has small amount of high power figure, project management should be performed to be able to specify at the each acquisition level of weapon system to realize Article 28, clause 3 and 4 of Defense business law.
The purpose of this study is to identify the main factors helping university students sucessfully adapt to campus life and achieve academic accomplishment through a critical period in personal development. For this purpose, the analysis verifying influence of self leadership as an individual trait variable and social support as a socio environmental trait variable on academic achievement of university students and the mediating effect of school adjustment among them was conducted. Total 271 responses collected by implementing a questionnaire survey in "S", a four-year private university located in Seoul, were used for the analysis. The validity of the measurement was verified through confirmatory factor analysis and the relationship among the variables was examined through structural model equation, bootstrap and sobel test. The major finding of this study are as follows. First, this study confirmed the causal relationship of self leadership and social support impacting on academic achievement of university students. This result suggests that an integrated approach taking into account both individual and socio environmental factors is necessary to support academic achievement of university students. Second, it was proved that self leadership and social support indirectly influences academic achievement through school adjustment. This demonstrates that school adjustment is an important predictor of academic achievement as well as plays a major role in mediating among self leadership, social support and academic achievement. In conclusion, the results of this study conveys its significance in suggesting the necessity to provide insititutional support on individual trait and socio environmental factor enabling university students sucessfully to adapt to campus life and achieve academic achievement.
This study is aimed at suggesting information about technical choices for designing LED camping lights based on emotional lighting contents of integrated IOT and design areas which take a central role in creation and knowledge based industries and the procedure for materializing them. 'i-Light,' a portable LED camping light, is 'connected lighting' connecting men, space and emotion and a smart camping light based on IOT and emotional lighting contents. 'i-Light' has two functions. One is about lighting for adjusting color and color temperature naturally and the other is about safety for detecting harmful gases. 'i-Light' also has various emotional functions for experiencing interaction and taste of light. For the purpose, portable LED camping lights were designed, first of all, and then a highly color rendering/full-color lighting module, a smart sensor module and an IOT device platform were developed. In addition, efforts were made to establish detailed data about emotional lighting contents and to develop a Web application based on them. Finally, prototypes of portable LED camping lights were made to get a test bench and usability evaluation from related organizations. According to the results, all of 12 developed emotional lighting contents and three IOT safety sensors were suitable and prototypes were satisfactory. This paper will suggest a direction about actual technical choices for development of contents and products integrating artificial intelligence and big data and about the procedure for materializing them.
Expectations for reunification have been higher than ever since the relationship between the two Koreas has become more flexible. However, since most of the integrated education in high school is based on teachers and textbooks, the educational effectiveness is minimal as it fails to attract learners' interest. Therefore, in this study, high school students participated in the North Korean market, the market for the rainy season, and our market. Through this development, the government proposed a new content for unification education that would raise interest in unification and effectively learn how the two Koreas can be divided. The main analyses and studies of this paper are as follows: :(1) First, the current state of unification education and understanding of North Korea and the current status of unification education was analyzed through the survey of educational materials for unification of North Korea, unification and school. (2) Based on the analyzed data, a learner-centered, participatory service concept was derived. (3) Based on the concept of service, a prototype of a unified education content based on the theme of a marketplaces. (4) Tested a prototype of the content of unification education for high school students. (5) Based on the prototyping test results and user analysis, a unified education content was improved and proposed. The study could replace and supplement traditional methods of unification education by improving the effectiveness of unification education through the provision of effective unification education services to high school students.
The purpose of this study was to extract the evaluation factors and assess the relative importance between the factors. For this purpose, the evaluation factors were extracted through literature review and the process of brainstorming with experts, who are related to port security. The evaluation factors were then classified into four higher factors and twelve sub- factors through the use of the AHP method. A survey on the classified factors was conducted by experts composed of public officials, port authority employees and education institutions officials. We also carried out statistical tests to determine the perception gap of weights between the groups. As a result of a relative importance analysis of strength, the security operating system factor was highest, followed by improvement of hardware facilities and increase of security personnel. There was a difference in perception among the groups in policy support, facility support and personnel resources budget support. The results of the analysis show that the strength operating system through the establishment of an integrated monitoring system is a priority. It is necessary to understand the difference of perception between groups and build a systematic cooperation system. The evaluation factors extracted from this study can be used for the measurement of port security efficiency in further work.
The purpose of the present study is to apply a health belief model to the serious perception of an increase in youth obesity, and to develop and validate a measurement tool for youth obesity prevention among this group who are experiencing increasing rates of obesity. The specific goals of this study are to 1) apply a health belief model to develop a measurement tool for obesity prevention among youth who are seeing rising rates of obesity, and 2) provide an integrated validation procedure and foundation for developing this measurement tool. A total of 1801 high school students[sample1: 902(male:464,female:438); sample2: 899(male:464,female:438)] were recruited and collected data from 12 high school in Seoul and Kyonggi area. For this study the analytic framework of unified validity was developed which can comprehensively reflect unified validity be Messick(1995), framework for conducting a strong program of construct validation by Benson(1998), the unified validity implementation method of Rasch model suggested by Wolfe and Smith(2007a, 2007b). Furthermore, after dividing the developed analytic framework into each stage(the substantive domain), the evidence of validity of Youth Obesity Prevention Scale(YOPS) applying Health Belief Model was systematically suggested. The YOPS suggested the evidence about the substantive domain of unified validity. The developed YOPS was consist of Susceptibility, Severity, Benefits, Barriers and Cues to Action. After 3 stage in substantive domain, the components of YOPS(5factors and 28items) satisfied the unidimensionality, and the 5 point Likert scale had the significant discrimination of the respondents' response.
