The experiments were conducted by using water and paraffin slurry to investigate the effect of a chip spacing in the multichip module on the cooling characteristics from an in-line $4{\times}3$ array of discrete heat sources which were flush mounted on the top wall of a channel. The experimental parameters were chip spacing in a multichip module, heat flux of simulated VLSI chip, mass fraction of paraffin slurry, and channel Reynolds number. The removable heat flux at the same chip surface temperature decreased as the chip spacing decreased at the first and fourth rows. The local heat transfer coefficients for the paraffin slurry were larger than those for water, and the chip spacing on the local heat transfer coefficients for paraffin slurry influenced less than that for water. The enhancement factor for paraffin slurry showed the largest value at a mass fraction of 5% regardless of the chip spacing, and the enhancement factors increased as the chip spacing decreased. This means that the paraffin slurry is more effective than water for cooling of the highly integrated multichip module.
A steam explosion module, STX, has been developed using the mechanistic steam explosion analysis code, TEXAS-V, in order to estimate the dynamic load with steam explosion by implementing the module to the integrated safety analysis code, MELCOR. One of the difficulties in using mechanistic steam explosion codes is that they do not have any obvious criteria for defining some uncertain parameters such as triggering timing, triggering magnitude, mesh axial length and mesh cross-sectional area. These parameters have been user decision parts in the past. Steam explosion sample calculations and sensitivity studies on uncertain parameters were conducted to investigate those uncertain parameters. The TEXAS-V simulations were summarized in the format of a look-up table and a linear interpolation technique was adopted to calculate the steam explosion load between the data points in the table. The STX-module merged with MELCOR showed the same results as the original MELCOR and additionally it could estimate the steam explosion load in the reactor cavity.

A general procedure for a motion capture and mimic system has been delineated. Utilizing sensors operated in the magnetic fields, complicated and optimized movements are easily digitized to analyze and repreduce. The system consists of a motion capture module, a motion visualization module, a motion plan module, a motion mimic module, and a GUI module. Design concepts of the system are modular, open, and user friendly to ensure the overall system performance. Custom-built and/or off-the-shelf modules are ease- ly integrated into the system. With modifications, this procedure can be applied for complicated motion controls. This procedure is implemented on tracking a head and balancing a pole. A neural controller based on this control scheme dtilizing human motions can easily evolve from a small amount of learning data.
Despite the many significant advances made in robot architecture, the basic approaches are deliberative and reactive methods. They are quite different in recognizing outer environment and inner operating mechanism. For this reason, they have almost opposite characteristics. Later, researchers integrate these two approaches into hybrid architecture. In such architecture, Reactive module also called low-level motion control module have advantage in real-time reacting and sensing outer environment; Deliberative module also called high-level task planning module is good at planning task using world knowledge, reasoning and intelligent computing. This paper presents a framework of the integrated planning and control for mobile robot navigation. Unlike the existing hybrid architecture, it learns topological map from the world map by using MST (Minimum Spanning Tree)-based SOFM (Self-Organizing Feature Map) algorithm. High-level planning module plans simple tasks to low-level control module and low-level control module feedbacks the environment information to high-level planning module. This method allows for a tight integration between high-level and low-level modules, which provide real-time performance and strong adaptability and reactivity to outer environment and its unforeseen changes. This proposed framework is verified by simulation.
In this study, used Trnsys and will apply metropolitan city distinguishes, fixations and BIPV systems the photovoltaic module arrangement environment which receives solar radiation quantity plentifully from the case design process which and most the outcome value simulation did analyzed. The climate data uses each metropolitan city distinguishes 20 average weather data, With measured values of horizontal solar radiation. The error scope appeared with 0.1%~6.7%. Variable of module arrangement Azimuth and angle of inclination of module and comparison group Module on due south direction angle of inclination $45^{\circ}$ day time set with the yearly average solar radiation quantity which receives. The result When the case comparison group which arranges a solar storehouse module with optimum environment and comparing until the minimum 1.4% - maximum 10.9% the solar radiation quantity difference appears with the thing, metropolitan city distinguishes considers the case solar radiation quantity which will arrange a photovoltaic module and that must establish with optimum environment judges.
In this study, three different types of experimental models of BIPV curtain wall units with GIGS modules were built, and their thermal and electrical performances were analyzed. The experimental results showed that the temperature of the rear side of the GIGS module with the application of an insulation in the curtain wall spandrels was higher than a GIGS module standalone by $22^{\circ}C$, which results in a reduction in the power generation of the former by 8 %. On the other hand, when ventilation was applied to the model to improve the power generation performance, the module temperature was observed to be $142^{\circ}C$ lower compared to the enclosed type, and the power generation performance improved by 5 %. It confirmed that the temperature increase in the rear side of the GIGS module with insulation layer reduced the electrical performance of the module. Based on this, it is claimed that providing sufficient ventilation at the GIGS applied spandrels contribute to improve the power generation of the GIGS module.
In this paper, millimeter-wave monolithic integrated circuit (MIMIC) low noise amplifier (LNA) for V-band, which is applicable to 58 GHz, we designed and fabricated. We fabricated the module using the fabricated LNA chips. The V-band MIMIC LNA was fabricated using the high performance $0.1\;{\mu}\;m$${\Gamma}-gate$ pseudomorphic high electron mobility transistor (PHEMT). The MIMIC LNA was designed using active and passive device library, which is composed $0.1\;{\mu}\;m$${\Gamma}-gate$ PHEMT and coplanar waveguide (CPW) technology. The designed V-band MIMIC LNA was fabricated using integrated unit processes of active and passive device. Also we fabricated CPW-to-waveguide fin-line transition of WR-15 type for module. The Transmission Line was fabricated using RT Duroid 5880 substrate. The measured results of V-band MIMIC LNA and Module are shown $S_{21}$ gain of 13.1 dB and 8.3 dB at 58 GHz, respectively. The fabricated LNA chip and Module in this work show a good noise figure of 3.6 dB and 5.6 dB at 58 GHz, respectively.

In 2008, the global photovoltaic(PV) market reached 5.6GW and the cumulative PV power installed totalled almost 15GW compared to 9GW in 2007. Due to a favourable feed-in-tariff, Korea emerged in 2008 as the 4th largest PV market worldwide. PV power installation rose 495.5 percent to 268MW in 2008 compare to 45MW in 2007. Building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) has the potential to become a major source of renewable energy in the urban environment. BIPV has significant influenced on the reflection by rear materials such as white back sheet and the heat transfer through the building envelope because of the change of the thermal resistance by adding or replacing the building elements. In this study, to use as suitable building materials into environmentally friendly house like green home, characteristic analysis of BIPV module according to rear materials achieved. Electrical output of PV module with white back sheet is high about 10% compared to other pv module because of 83% reflectivity of white back sheet compared to 8.4% reflectivity of other PV modules with different rear materials(black back sheet and glass). In the result of outdoor experiment during a year, electrical output of four different PV module is decreased about 3.72%.
To assess the performance and characteristics of colored building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) modules, a comparative assessment of empirical performance was conducted on colored BIPV modules (gray, blue, and orange) and general BIPV module. These modules were installed on the south-facing slope (30°) for comparative assessment through a field test. Monitoring data were collected every 10 min from December 20, 2019 to January 21, 2020 and used to performance and characteristics analysis. Performance ratio and module efficiency were utilized during performance indexing for comparative assessment. For general BIPV modules, the operational efficiency was analyzed at 16.63%, whereas for colored BIPV modules, 13.70% (gray), 15.12 % (blue), and 14.49% (orange) were analyzed. It was discovered that the efficiency reduction caused by transmission losses owing to the application of colored cover glasses were 17.74% (gray), 9.05% (blue), and 9.86 % (orange), under field testing conditions. These values turned on an additional 7% reduction in efficiency for gray BIPV modules, compared to the degradation resulting from transmission drop (gray: 10.87%, blue: 8.99%, and orange: 9.02%) calculated using the efficiency of each module in standard test conditions (STC). Performance ratio analysis resulted in the following values: 0.92 for general BIPV modules, and 0.85 (gray), 0.91 (blue), and 0.91 (orange) for colored BIPV modules. As demonstrated by the above results, modules with a colored cover glass may differ in their operational performance depending on their color, unlike general modules. Therefore, in addition to the performance evaluation under STC, additional factors of degradation require consideration through field test.
A web-based client/server program, MOVIDIK(Motor-Operated-Valve Integrated Database Information of KEPCO) has been developed to perform a design basis safety evaluation for a motor-operated-valve(MOV) in the nuclear power plant. The MOVIDIK consists of seven analysis modules and one administrative module. The analysis module calculates a differential pressure on the valve disk, thrust/torque acting at a valve stem, maximum allowable stress, thermal-overload-relay selection, voltage degradation, actuator output and margin. In addition, the administrative module manages user information, approval system and code information. MOVIDIK controls a huge amount of evaluation data and piles up the safety information of safety-related MOV. The MOVIDIK will improve the efficiency of safety evaluation work and standardize the analysis process for the MOV.
