In this paper, a concept of an integrated elastomer substrate for a three-dimensional (3D) liquid crystal display based on the integral-imaging method is presented. The elemental lens array and columnar spacers were integrated into one of the two substrates, an elastomer substrate, through an imprinting process. The integrated elastomer substrate was capable of maintaining the uniform liquid crystal (LC) cell gap and promoting homeotropic LC alignment without any surface treatment. The monolithic approach reported herein will provide a key component for 3D displays with enhanced portability through a more than 40% weight reduction compared with the conventional integral-imaging method.
In this study, frictionless continuous and discontinuous contact problems of a magneto-electro-elastic layer in the presence of the body force were discussed. The layer was indented by a rigid cylindrical insulating punch and supported by a rigid substrate without bond. Applying the Fourier integral transform technique, the general expressions of the problem were derived in the presence of body force. Thanks to the boundary conditions, the singular integral equations were obtained for both the continuous and the discontinuous contact cases. Gauss-Chebyshev integration formulas were used to transform the singular integral equations into a set of nonlinear equations. Contact width under the punch, initial separation distance, critical load, separation regions and contact stress under the punch and between the layer, and substrate were given as a result.

Magnetic properties of 3d transition metals were determined by exchange interaction between magnetic ions that was characterized by the exchange integral. Bulk Mn material is one of transition metals that have been well known as an anti-ferromagnetic material due to an anti-parallel spin with negative exchange integral. Here we report on the MBE growth of Mn on $BaTiO_3$ (001) substrate and induced ferromagnetism. The bcc ${\alpha}$-Mn single crystal film has been grown on $BaTiO_3$ (100) substrate. The XRD and Raman results indicated that the structural phase transitions of $BaTiO_3$ substrate induced a lattice distortion at the interface. Consequently, the grown Mn film exhibits ferromagnetism with strong saturation magnetization of 495 emu/$cm^3$ at 320 K. The electrical resistivity of the Mn film strongly depended on the crystal structure of $BaTiO_3$ substrate.

Effects of Airgap and anisotropy substrate on input impedance and radiation pattern of rectangular microstrip patch antenna are studied in terms of an integral equation formulation. The input impedance and radiation pattern of microstrip patch antenna is investigated by using Galerkin's moment method in solving the integral equation. Sinusoidal functions are selected as basis functions, which resemble in the actual standing wave on the Patch. From the numerical results, the variation of input impedance and radiation patterns in the variation of air gap thickness, anisotropy ratio of substrate, and relative permittivity of anisotropy substrate are presented.

To construct its complex permittivity from the reflection coefficient of a thin film such as PCB substrate measured by open-ended coaxial probe, an integral equation is formulated using modal analysis and equivalent source. The accuracy of the conversion model based on the integral equation is confirmed in both cases of converted complex permittivities calculated from numerically computed and actually measured reflection coefficients. And the maximum valid frequency of open-ended coaxial probe is limited by the size of its flange.

The failure responses of adhesively bonded, hat stiffened structures are studied through numerical analysis using the finite element method. The responses are evaluated numerically for the bonded hat section/substrate structures containing different combinations of materials. It is studied what kind of material combinations causes the easier crack initiation in the structure. This study is conducted under plane strain conditions and J-integral via a commercial code ABAQUS as a total critical energy release criterion was used for observation on crack initiation. Also, the influence of adhesive on the structure is studied.

We will put the emphasis on the analysis of arbitrarily shaped microstrip antennas. The most general and rigorous treatment of microstrip antennas is given by the electric field integral equation(EFIE), usally formulated in the spectral domain. In this paper, we use a modification of EFIE, called the mixed potential integral equation(MPIE) , and we solve it in the space domain. This technique uses Green's functions associated with the scalar and vector potential which are calculated by using stratified media theory and are expressed as Sommerfeld integrals. The integral equation is solved by a moment's method using rooftop subsectional basis function. Thus, microstrip patches of any shape can be analysed at any frequency and for any substrate. Numerical results for a rectangular patch and for a L-shaped patch are given and compared with measured values.

In this paper, we have simulated a rectangular microstrip patch antenna for aerospace applications based on graphen as a conductor and a multilayer substrate .as a result of the use of the graphen patch we obtained a reconfigurable antenna on the frequency range (0.6-0.7 terahertz) with a gain up to 12 db. The simulation of this antenna has been performed by using CST Microwave Studio, which is a commercially available finite integral based electromagnetic simulator.
Rate constans for the chloride exchange of some arylmethylchloride in dry acetone have been determined, and activation parameters have been evaluated. The reactivities of substates are explained with perturbational molecular orbital (PMO) method and HSAB principle. It was found that carbon-chlorine resonance integral at the transition state is a out 67% of ${\beta}$, the carbon-carbon resonance integral.

This paper proposes an exact numerical method for analyzing a dipole antenna attached on a dielectric slab. A Green's function for an infinitesimal current filament on a dielectric slab is derived and a field integral equation is formulated using a boundary condition. The moment Method is used to solve the field integral equation to otain current distribution on the antenna. Since an asymptotic function is used to compute the impedance matrix elements, the computataion time is significantly reduced. Using the computed current distributions, the input impedances, the resonance lengths and the resonant resistances of the antennas for various values of the thichnessandthe dielectric constant of the slab are obtained. It was found that the resonant length and the resonant resistance are decrease monotonically as the dielectric constant increases, however, those are changed up-and-down as the substrate thickness increases.
