  • This paper is purpose to understand the dissipation factor properties of the oil-filled large transformer according to the oil filtering. In order to know the insulation characteristic change by insulating oil filtering, we carried out the insulation diagnostic test for the same transformer before oil filtering and after. The insulation diagnosis tests are consist of the megger, the polarization index, the AC current test, the dissipation factor test and the partial discharge test, Especially we took notice of dissipation factor change, we analyzed and made a comparison of the two cases test result.

  • As lengthen gap leng of artificial needle shape void 0.24.rarw.1.5[mm]), the amplitude of AE(Acoustic Emission) pulses was enlarged and number of pulses be generated was few. The longer gap length of void, the shorter breakdown time. As a result of this, I found that existen of void in insulation mate was fatal deterioration of insulation. According to phase angle of applied voltage, time being void was scattered largely in region of phase angle of pulses of origination in phase angle of applied voltage. The result will be used to analysis of void diagnosis.

  • Internal voids in insulators give rise to partial discharge, which causes a local breakdown and even entire insulation breakdown. Recently, the necessity of establishing the way to diagnose the aging of insulation materials and to predict of insulation breakdown become important. The purpose of our work are to investigate the treeing phenomena with an artificial needle shaped void by the charge of discharge and acoustic emission pulse in each phase angle area at the same time. We analyzed the .PHI.-QA-t pattern and .PHI.-AEA-t pattern using statistic operators such as pulse magnitude, pulse number, skewness, kurtosis. Therefore, the relation between the charge of discharge and acoustic emission pulse will be helpful to predict the breakdown just before the breakdown occur.

  • In compared with air insulated switchgear GIS has a high efficiency and confidence. Insulation method using $SF_6$ gas has a very excellent insulation characteristics for high voltage equipment but has a characteristics that insulation heredity is changed for internal unequal electric field. So analysis of electromagnetic field in GIS is very important basic data for structure design and trouble diagnosis process. In compared with established method, SNM in this paper observes variation of the electromagnetic field with real time and get result very similar to measurement. In order to know the variation of electromagnetic field distribution for transient response for time and position, variations are observed when metal particles are moving fast.

We have analyzed the ${\Phi}-Q-n$ pattern and the insulation diagnosis of the samples using statistic operators such as charge magnitude and A.E pulse factor, skweness, kurtosis, G,C. Therefore, the relation between the charge of partial discharge and A.E pulse will be helpful and efficient to predict the breakdown just before the breakdown occure.

  • There are two kinds of ground fault diagonosis system(GFD), which are for AC and DC power line. The ground fault current of a DC power line Is, first, analyzed for a description of a GFD system for DC power line and then the construction method of the GFD system, which could be processed and analyzed a ground fault current, are explained. Main functions of the system are that the detected ground fault current could be converted to the line insulation resistance by a program and saved in the system memory continuously. Finally a DC power line insulation safety could be decide by a change of the saved Insulation resistance for a given time. This system can detect the ground fault resistance to 100㏀.

  • This paper describes the simulation study. conducted on the propagation characteristics of AE signal. In the case of gas insulation, such as $SF_6$, the equipment is less affected by the environment condition than air insulation, because the component parts of equipment were placed in the enclosure, which is filled with compressed gas. But. when the breakdown in the electric insulation occurs. it takes much time and economical efforts to repair. Therefore it is very important to diagnose the equipment before the accident. And. in general. UHF and AE signal is the most common transducer to diagnose the state of the power equipment, so, in this investigation, we make a experimental apparatus with aluminum plate and transient analysis with ANSYS to observe the propagation characteristics of AE signal. Through the result of the analysis. we can make a further understanding on the propagation characteristics of AE signal, and get the fundamental skills for the GIS diagnosis.

  • In pumped storage Generator-motor stator windings gradually deteriorates due to mechanist, thermal, electrical stresses. These stresses combine to result in loose windings, delamination of the stator insulation and/or electrical tracking of the endwinding, all of which can lead to stator insulation failures. Since the degration of generator-motor is gradually occurred, regular inspection system is necessary to monitor degrading. The result of this diagnosis is a basic for the maintxnance of generator-motor.
