Teaching and learning is based on communication between instructors and learners. In addition to instructor's verbal communication in the classrooms, non-verbal communication plays an important role. There is growing concerned about instructor's non-verbal communication affecting the learning process and learning outcomes. Based on the literature research student's emotional presence and rapport were used variables of learning process, and learning satisfaction was used as a variable of learning outcome to see the relationship of instructor's non-verbal communication. Data was collected from 378 students at A university in Gyeonggi-do and K university in Daejeon. The data was analyzed through structural equations modeling. As a result of the study, instructor's non-verbal communication had a positive impact on emotional presence and rapport. Emotional presence had a significant influence on rapport and learning satisfaction positively, and rapport had a positive effect on learning satisfaction. Instructors should be able to recognize the role of non-verbal communication in the classes as well as be able to use it appropriately. This study could be used as basic data onto the use of non-verbal communication in university classrooms.

We arranged and classified rearing patterns of gifted children's parents in order to find out mothers' roles for their gifted children. We developed a frame of parents' role to analyze the rearing cases of nine mothers whose children currently attend the Korea Science Gifted Academy. We surveyed and conducted semi-structured interviews with nine mothers to collecting qualitative data and were able to find out their roles that were classified into 4 distinctive roles: Instructor, Supporter, Dialogist and Moral Discipliner. Findings indicated that there was no significant difference between the roles found from parents' interview and the ones found from literature review. However, it is noticed that Korean mothers not only played a role for connecting their children's human networks but also did the role for controling the natural process of learning Korean characters and words with siblings as well as parents before school age.

This study aims to improve the quality of classes by analyzing the role and learning achievement of instructors in programming subjects for non-major students. In order to improve the quality of university education, universities provide various programs to strengthen the teaching capacity of instructors. Ultimately, in order to improve the quality of classes, instructors increase student participation in classes, respond sincerely to students' inquiries, and provide feedback that can assist students in various situations that occur during class and learning, thereby improving class satisfaction and achievement. should try to improve. The purpose of this study was to investigate the structural relationship among self-directed learning ability, learner-instructor interaction, learner-learner interaction, and class satisfaction in online learning environments by the structural equation modelling (SEM). Participants of the study consisted of 300 students (110 = high school students, 190 = college students). Through latent mean analysis (LMA), there was no significant difference of study variables between high school and college groups. However, thorough multi-group analysis, self-directed learning ability had a direct and indirect effect on class satisfaction for the college group via learner-instructor and learner-learner interactions, while learner-learner interaction played a full mediating role of the relationship between self-directed learning ability and class satisfaction for the high school group. In addition, self-directed learning ability had a stronger influence on learner-learner interaction for the college group than the high school group. These results would provide important implications for understanding the different mechanisms between high school and college online learning contexts.

In this paper, we studied about method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and about the educational effects of a web based practice instruction. And, in practice instruction, we examined about role and influence of instructor, learner and manager. This study shows the method that instructor and learner execute teaching-learning activities and interaction activities in a "construction of e-business system" curriculum to support the informational education for an industrial workers. The research subject was the 15 industrial workers who enrolled a informational instruction coulee provided for two weeks by kimpo college, As a research method, workers survey, interview, and profile analysis were used for this study. The result of this study show that interaction between instructor, learner and manager was not executed actively, but the manner of lecturing about interest of learner, usage of email, question and answer of bulletin board, online-practice were brought an effect on interaction of learner activities and the educational effects.l effects.

To identify the relationship between leadership, organizational commitment, and job satisfaction of sports instructor for elderly, this study conducted a research on 199 exercise sports instructors for elderly working at 6 sports centers located in 6 regions of Seoul, Gyeonggi, and Incheon from April 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019. The research results were as follows. First, the leadership of sports instructor for elderly had a significant influence on the organizational commitment. Secondly, the leadership of sports instructor for elderly had a significant influence on the job satisfaction. Above results showed that leadership of sports instructor for elderly is an important factor that enhances organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Thus, it is necessary to provide leadership education on sports instructors to develop upright character and capability. This would result in promoting elderly's participation in sports for all, enhancing pleasure, and continuing healthy life in old age. Furthermore, the role of such sports instructors would enhance the quality of life for elderly.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of preceptor preparation education on the preceptor's role recognition, role conflict and professional self-concept. Method: A Quasi-experimental design with non-equivalant control group was used. The subjects included 39 nurses, 19 in experimental group, and 20 in the control group. The program consisted of introduction of preceptor education program & curriculum, change of hospital management environment, the newest trend of nursing course, concept of preceptorship, steps of preceptorship, role of preceptor, attitude of preceptor, role of education, etiquette in nursing situation, policy of clinical education ability improvement, communication, conflict management, nursing ethics, contents concerned nursing professionalist, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and medication. The data was collected from September 29 to November 17, 2007 using a structured questionnaire. Result: Preceptor's role recognition was increased significantly in the experimental group. However, role conflict and professional self-concept weren't significantly changed in the experimental group, compared to the control group. Conclusion: This study provides evidence for potential and beneficial effect of preceptor preparation education program on nurses.

The purpose of this study was to investigate attitudes to home economics education and role performance of home economics teacher in middle school. The target population of the study was middle school home economics teachers. A booklet of questionnaire was sent to home economics teachers in 499 middle school by mail throughout the whole country. 224 data(respondent rate was 45%) was analyzed into frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS program. The results were as follows: 1. Most home economics teachers more agreed to the progressive view of home economics education than to the r=traditional one. The majority of home economics teachers had best performed role as task performer and the second as counselor. The role as instructor was worst performed. 2. Regarding to views of home economics education according to personal and professional characteristics, only the traditional views of home economics education was statistically meaningful on teaching experience and types of school. 3. Regarding to degrees of role performance according to personal and professional characteristics of home economics teachers, teaching experience, types of school, plan to study in graduate school were statistically meaningful. 4. The group for traditional views had performed the role as home economics teacher better than the group against the view.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate autonomy, teaching effectiveness, and clinical practice satisfaction for fundamentals nursing clinical practice in student nurses. Method: The participants were 244 sophomores, who had done the practice for 8 weeks from June 17 ${\sim}.33$ August 23, 2005. Autonomy the Caring Perspective(ACP) devised by Boughn(1995) was used to measure autonomy, Instrument to Measure Effectiveness of Clinical Instructor(IMECL) by Reeve(1994) for measuring teaching effectiveness, and an instrument by Moon(2002) for measuring satisfaction. Results: After practice, the role model was seen as rich in knowledge and experience(48.77%). Desirable categories for instructor were full-time professors with a practice background and head nurses(31.97%). Average score for autonomy was 3.71(${\pm}.33$), for teaching effectiveness, 3.67(${\pm}.48$) and for satisfaction 3.51(${\pm}.38$). Autonomy scores were high for students satisfied with their major(F=5.23, p=.006), and interested In practice(F=4.38, p=.014). Teaching effectiveness scores were high for students satisfied with practice (F=2.57, p=.038). Clinical practice satisfaction scores were high for students interested in practice(F=5.01, p=.007). Relationships between autonomy and teaching effectiveness (r=.174, p=.006), and between leaching effectiveness and satisfaction showed a positive correlation(r=.632, p=.000). Conclusion: Interest in clinical practice courses in first year affect autonomy, teaching effectiveness and satisfaction.

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of effective role-play and training on employee education satisfaction and customer orientation. Evidence of the suggested objective is obtained by monitoring the effectiveness of hotel service training. Research design, data, and methodology - Data were collected from 280 role-play sessions performed in a Korean Hotel and examined using a frequency analysis, reliability/validity assessments, correlation analysis, and regression analysis using SPSS 19.0. Results - 1) Entrepreneurs and training instructors should enthusiastically apply service education in order to enhance each employee d evaluation in terms of customer satisfaction and customer orientation. 2) The most effective factor on customer satisfaction and orientation is the instructor's qualifications. 3) Since a higher level of education-training satisfaction leads to better customer orientation, effective education-training is essential to achieve this result. Conclusions - The study was able to obtain practical evidence that can confirm that service education-training through role-play positively affects employee customer service orientation. In future advanced research on training effects on customer orientation, various internal factors of a business should also be considered.
