승강기 Car용 고속응성 배터리 충전시스템에 적합한 제어알고리즘 (A Control Algorithm Suitable for High-speed Response Battery Charging System for Elevator Car)

  • As the demand for high-rise buildings increases, the demand for high-speed elevators is also increasing. In order to make a high-speed elevator, a method is needed to reduce the weight of the elevator's components, which is a constraint on the increase in speed. As a measure to reduce the weight, it is possible to remove the traveling cable for power and signal supply. Since the weight of the traveling cable varies depending on the position of the carriage, it is difficult to compensate the weight using the counter weight. The power supply is a structure in which a brush-rail type power input terminal is installed in the elevator hoistway to receive power in a contact-type manner while the carriage is moving. If a small-capacity ESS is installed in a passenger car, power can be supplied uninterruptedly inside the passenger car. A small-capacity ESS charging system to be applied to such an elevator system is required to perform several functions. First, the passenger Car must be able to charge as much as possible even during high-speed operation. A control algorithm with high responsiveness is required because charging starts and ends repeatedly by the partially installed input power stage. In addition, if the input-side line impedance is large due to the structure of the system and the response characteristic is increased, the stability of the system may be lowered. Accordingly, in this paper, we propose a control algorithm that has a stable steady-state output while having a fast response in a transient state. To verify the proposed control algorithm, simulation was conducted using PSIM, and the performance of the controller was verified by manufacturing a prototype buck conveter charger.

수중방파제 천단상의 표식암에 작용하는 불규칙파의 파력특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Irregular Wave Forces Acting on a Marker Rock Installed on a Submerged Breakwater)

  • 연안역에 설치되는 구조물로서 경관이나 해수 교환면에서 높은 기능을 가지고 있는 수중방파제의 건설이 증가하고 있다. 수중방파제의 경우, 천단이 정수면 아래에 위치하기 때문에 소형선박의 항해에 대한 표식으로서 일반적으로 부이가 많이 이용되고 있으나, 경관면 뿐만 아니라 쇄파파력에 의한 계류시스템의 파단과 같은 문제점이 지적되고 있다. 이로 인해, 최근에는 계류부이방식 대신에 자연에 가까운 경관을 창조할 수 있는 표식암을 이용하는 경우가 늘고 있으며, 이러한 표식암에 작용하는 파력의 정확한 예측은 설계 시 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 불규칙 파동장을 대상으로 표식암에 작용하는 파력특성을 수리모형실험에 근거하여 검토하였다. 무차원 파력은 수중방파제상의 표식암 설치위치가 연안측으로 이동함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 보였다. 또한, Morison식을 이용하여 얻어진 항력계수와 관성력계수의 변동특성이 K.C.수의 변화와 연관되어 논의되었다.

심해무인잠수정 해미래를 이용한 다중빔 음향측심기의 운용 - 마리아나 열수해역 탐사 결과 및 후처리 - (Multi-beam Echo Sounder Operations for ROV Hemire - Exploration of Mariana Hydrothermal Vent Site and Post-Processing)

  • This paper presents the operations of a multi-beam echo sounder (MBES) installed on the deep-sea remotely operated vehicle (ROV) Hemire. Hemire explored hydrothermal vents in the Forecast volcano located near the Mariana Trench in March of in 2006. During these explorations, we acquired profiling points on the routes of the vehicle using the MBES. Information on the position, depth, and attitude of the ROV are essential to obtain higher accuracy for the profiling quality. However, the MBES installed on Hemire does not have its own position and depth sensors. Although it has attitude sensors for roll, pitch, and heading, the specifications of these sensors were not clear. Therefore, we had to merge the high-performance sensor data for the motion and position obtained from Hemire into the profiling data of the MBES. Then, we could properly convert the profiling points with respect to the Earth-fixed coordinates. This paper describes the integration of the MBES with Hemire, as well as the coordinate conversion between them. Bathymetric maps near the summit of the Forecast volcano were successfully collected through these processes. A comparison between the bathymetric maps from the MBES and those from the Onnuri Research Vessel, the mother ship of the ROV Hemire for these explorations, is also presented.

침지형 자외선 살균조 설계를 위한 자외선 분포 모델의 개발 및 적용 (Development of an UV Distribution Model for the Design of a Submerged UV Disinfection Reactor and Its Application)

  • 침지형 자외선 살균조의 자외선 강도를 계산하기 위한 3차원 모델을 개발하였으며, 실제 하수처리장에 설치되어있는 개수로형 살균조와 관로형 살균조에 각각 적용하여 수치실험을 실시하였다. 모델링을 통해 계산한 살균조의 평균 자외선 강도는 각각 7.87 mW/cm2와 13.09 mW/cm2로 계산되었다. 자외선 조사 시간을 반영하고, 혼합 불균형, 램프 노화, 온도 및 파울링에 의한 감쇄효과를 고려한 자외선 조사량은 각각 21.1 mJ/cm2, 24.8 mJ/cm2로 예측되었는데 이 값은 목표 자외선 조사량인 20 mJ/cm2보다 각각 5 %, 24 % 높은 것으로 예측되었다. 개발한 UV3D 모델을 사용하면 살균조의 조사 시간이나 램프의 출력을 높이지 않고도 수치실험을 통해 평균 자외선 강도가 가장 큰 최적의 램프 위치를 찾을 수 있다. 램프 위치 조정만으로 본 연구에서 적용한 개수로형 살균조와 관로형 살균조의 자외선 조사량은 각각 0.9 %, 0.5 % 향상시킬 수 있다. 개수로형 살균조의 경우 살균조의 체적은 그대로 유지하면서 가로와 세로의 비율을 조정하고, 램프의 위치를 바꾸면 평균 자외선 강도는 현재보다 7.4 % 더 증가한다.

자율주행을 위한 레이더 기반 인지 알고리즘의 정량적 분석 (Quantitative Analysis of Automotive Radar-based Perception Algorithm for Autonomous Driving)

  • This paper presents a quantitative evaluation method and result of moving vehicle perception using automotive radar. It is also important to analyze the accuracy of the perception algorithm quantitatively as well as to accurately percept nearby moving vehicles for safe and efficient autonomous driving. In this study, accuracy of the automotive radar-based perception algorithm which is developed based on interacting multiple model (IMM) has been verified via vehicle tests on real roads. In order to obtain experimental data for quantitative evaluation, Long Range Radar (LRR) has been mounted on the front of the ego vehicle and Short Range Radar (SRR) has been mounted on the rear side of both sides. RT-range has been installed on the ego vehicle and the target vehicle to simultaneously collect reference data on the states of the two vehicles. The experimental data is acquired in various relative positions and velocity, and the accuracy of the algorithm has been analyzed according to relative position and velocity. Quantitative analysis is conducted on relative position, relative heading angle, absolute velocity, and yaw rate of each vehicle.

전자제어의 Event 처리방법에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Event Processing for Electronic Control)

  • For digital engine control timings, such as ignition, are based on the crank shaft angle. Therefore, it is very important that the angle of the crank shaft can be detected with accuracy for optimal ignition timing. Sequential multi-point injection(MPI) systems that have independent injection events for each cylinder, are used to inject an accurate quantity of fuel, and to cope with varying engine status promptly. In this study the distributorless ignition timing. A crankshaft position sensor has been installed such that it generates a number of pulses per crankshaft revolution to permit accurate detection of the crank shaft angle. An event detecting algorithm has been developed, which detects the crank shaft pulses generated by the position sensor, and the software outputs the required control signals at given crank angle values. We clarified that the hardware method is the best way to increase the performance of the control system, because the event detecting duration T(1+2)max becomes zero.

  • Total 144 quadrupole magnets are installed in PLS. The magnets are connected in series with groups of two or 24. Each group is powered by a high-precision constant-current DC power supply. For the purpose of the beam based alignment of beam position monitors in the PLS, it is necessary to adjust the current of each quadrupole independently. To achieve this, a high current shunt regulator is designed. It can shunt a maximum 50 A of the quadrupole magnet current. The shunt regulator is programmable and the current amplitude can be varied linearly with a 12-bit resolution. Power transistors are used in the current shunt regulator. The operation of transistors is in linear region. The RS232C protocol is used for remote control and status report of the shunt regulator to the main control centre of the PLS. Preliminary result indicates that the calibration accuracy of the beam position monitor can be achievable in less than $10{\mu}m$.

  • 드릴쉽과 셔틀탱커등 특수선의 건조가 활발해지면서 정해진 위치에서 장시간 작업해야 할 목적으로 동적 자기위치 유지시스템(Dynamic Positioning System)을 장착하는 선박이 늘어나고 있다. 본 논문에서는 DP 시스템의 구성 요소를 소개하고, 수조에서 실험한 결과를 바탕으로 제어이론과 필터이론에 따른 DP성능을 비교하였다. 실험에 사용한 선박은 10만톤급 드릴쉽으로 모델의 길이가 4m이며, 방향이 고정된 3개의 추진기를 사용하였다. 실험 내용은 명령에 따라 주어진 궤적을 이동하는 능력과 파도가 있는 외란조건에서 원하는 선수각을 유지할 수 있는지를 살펴보았다. 추진력을 구하기 위하여 PID 이론을 적용하였고, 제어게인의 변화에 따른 제어특성을 살펴보았다. 선형운동성분과 계측잡음을 제거하기 위하여 칼만 필터와 디지털 필터를 적용하였고, 각각의 필터성능을 비교 검토하였다.

A miniaturized attitude estimation system for a gesture-based input device with fuzzy logic approach

  • In this paper, we develop an input device equipped with accelerometers and gyroscopes. The installed sensors measure the inertial measurements i.e., accelerations and angular rates produced by the movement of the system when a user is writing on the plane surface or in the three dimensional space. The gyroscope measurement are integrated once to give the attitude of the system and consequently used to remove the gravity included in the acceleration measurements. The compensated accelerations bin doubly integrated to yield the position of the system. Due to the integration processes involved in recovering the users'motions, the accuracy of the position estimation significantly deteriorates with time. Among various error sources of the system incorrect estimation of attitude causes the largest portion of the positioning error since the gravity is not fully cancelled. In order to solve this problem, we propose a Kalman filler-based attitude estimation algorithm which fuses measurement data from accelerometers and gyroscopes by fuzzy logic approach. In addition, the online calibration of the gyroscope biases are performed in parallel with the attitude estimation to give more accurate attitude estimation. The effectiveness and the feasibility of the presented system is demonstrated through computer simulations and actual experiments.

  • This paper studies the validity about a joint operation of neutral wire and overhead grounding wire in combined distribution systems. The overhead grounding wire and neutral wire are currently installed separately and grounded by common. However there is no any ineffectiveness or electrical problem in case of the proposed system, such system can be operated at real distribution system. Therefore this paper describes the suitability of a joint operation through lightning surge analysis on combined distribution systems and analyzes the optimal position of lightning arrester on joint operation of neutral wire and overhead grounding wire. Lightning surge analysis is carried out by EMTP/ATPDraw to obtain the overvoltage of overhead line and underground cable in various conditions such as location and current types of lightning stroke. Over voltage gained by the analysis show that the insulation strength of the joint operation case is not stable compare with the current operation case.
