윙립 두께 측정용 비접촉식 검사 시스템에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Non-contact Type Inspection System for Wing Rib Thickness Measurement)

  • This paper presents a non-contact inspection system for automatically measuring the thickness of an aircraft wing rip product. In order to conduct the inspection of the wing rib thickness automatically, a non-contact laser displacement sensor, end-effector, and a robot were selected for use. The non-contact type inspection system was evaluated by measuring the measurement deviation of the rotation direction of a C-type yoke end-effector and the transfer direction of a V-slim end-effector. In addition, the non-contact inspection system for wing rib thickness measurements was validated through thickness measurements of a web, flange, and stiffener.

  • In this paper, we present a case study of developing MVIS (Machine Vision Inspection System) designed for exterior quality inspection of stamping dies used in the production of automotive exterior components in a small to medium-sized factory. While the primary processes within the factory, including machining, transportation, and loading, have been automated using PLCs, CNC machines, and robots, the final quality inspection process still relies on manual labor. We implement the MVIS with general-purpose industrial cameras and Python-based open-source libraries and frameworks for rapid and low-cost development. The MVIS can play a major role on improving throughput and lead time of stamping dies. Furthermore, the processed inspection images can be leveraged for future process monitoring and improvement by applying deep learning techniques.

  • This study proposes a non-contact inspective technology based robot vision system for Faulty Inspection of welding States and Parts Shape. The maine focus is real time implementation of the machining parts' automatic inspection by the robotic moving. For this purpose, the automatic test instrument inspects the precision components designator the vision system. pattern Recognition Technologies and Precision Components for vision inspection technology and precision machining of precision parts including the status and appearance distinguish between good and bad. To perform a realization of a real-time automation integration system for the precision parts of manufacturing process, it is designed a robot vision system for the integrated system controller and verified the reliability through experiments. The main contents of this paper, the robot vision technology for noncontact inspection of precision components and machinery parts is useful technology for FA.

  • PDP(Plasma Display Panel) 프레임은 PDP의 핵심 부품으로 매월 수 십 만개 이상을 생산하고 있다. 대량생산 과정에서 제품의 검사 과정은 매우 중요한 공정 단계이며 제품의 신뢰성을 높이기 위해 모든 부품과 완제품에 대한 전수 검사가 종종 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서 구현 하고자 하는 시각 검사 공정의 자동화는 생산 현장에서 컴퓨터 비전 기술을 이용하여 PDP 부품의 일부인 프레임의 결함을 검사한다. 본 논문은 PDP 프레임에 있는 홀(Hole), 탭홀(Tab), 스터드(STUD), 리벳(Rivet)의 결함을 검사하는 시스템을 설계하고 구현 하였다. 본 시스템은 다양한 종류의 PDP 프레임을 학습하고 검사 할 수 있다. 모든 제품에 대한 신속하고 정확하게 100% 검사를 함으로써 공정의 효율성을 높이고 검사결과의 데이터베이스화로 신속한 결함의 원인파악과 조치가 가능하도록 하였다. 시스템을 산업체에 적용한 결과 신속하고 정확한 검사가 가능함을 보였다.

  • LED(Liquid Emitting Diode)프레임 장치는 한국을 대표하는 디스플레이 분야에서 큰 비중을 차지하고 있다. LED는 TV나 모니터, 노트북, 핸드폰 등 에 필수적인 부품이다. 일본이나 대만, 중국 등에서 LED에 대한 투자를 강화하면서 생산성 향상이 중요한 사항이 되고 있다. 하지만 부품의 크기가 점점 작아지면서, 사람의 눈에 의한 일관적이지 못한 검사는 신뢰성이 문제가 되어 LED 모듈 검사 분야에서 자동 검사 공정은 필수적인 사항이 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 비전 기술을 이용하여 시각 검사 공정의 결함을 검사한다. LED 프레임에 대한 검사를 신속하고 정확하게 함으로써 공정상의 효율을 높이고 검사시간을 단축하였다. 검사 시스템을 현장에 적용한 결과 빠르고 정확하게 검사가 가능함을 확인하였다.

  • In this paper, an automatic side-view inspection algorithm for LCD modules is proposed. Until now, most parts of inspection is performed by human inspectors, which means very high product costs. So inspection automation is the very hot issue in the LCD industries. However, it is not easy problem to replace the human by computer vision system. In the many inspections which are based on the human eyes, side-view inspection is most hard problem to solve. In this paper, an image morphing algorithm is developed, which will help to enable the automation of the side-view inspection process.

  • Visual defect inspection for electronics parts manufacturing processes is comprised of 2 steps - automatic visual inspection by machine and inspection by human inspectors. It is necessary that spatial points which were detected by the machine should be adequately clustered for subsequent human inspection. This research deals with the spatial clustering algorithm for the purpose of process productivity improvement. Distribution based clustering is newly developed and experimentally confirmed to show better clustering efficiency than existing algorithm - area based clustering.

  • This paper presents an improved learning-based visual inspection method for auto parts inspection in severe lighting changes. Automobile sunroof frames are produced automatically by robots in most production lines. In the sunroof frame manufacturing process, there is a quality problem with some parts such as volts are missed. Instead of manual sampling inspection using some mechanical jig instruments, a learning-based machine vision system was proposed in the previous research[1]. But, in applying the actual sunroof frame production process, the inspection accuracy of the proposed vision system is much lowered because of severe illumination changes. In order to overcome this capricious environment, some selective feature vectors and cascade classifiers are used for each auto parts. And we are able to improve the inspection accuracy through the re-learning concept for the misclassified data. The effectiveness of the proposed visual inspection method is verified through sufficient experiments in a real sunroof production line.

  • The variable sampling inspection scheme with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of maximum expected surplus loss after inspection has been proposed. In this inspection scheme, it has been assumed that a product lot consists of products manufactured through a single production line and lot quality characteristics follow a normal distribution. In the previous literature with respect to inspection schemes, it has been commonly assumed that lot quality characteristics obey a single normal distribution under the condition that all products are manufactured in the same condition. On the other hand, the production line is designed in order that the workload of respective processes becomes uniform from the viewpoint of line balancing. One of the solutions for the bottleneck process is to arrange the workshops in parallel. The lot quality characteristics from such a production line with the process consisting of some parallel workshops might not follow strictly the single normal distribution. Therefore, we expand an applicable scope of the above mentioned variable sampling inspection scheme with screening in this article. Concretely, we consider the variable sampling inspection with screening for the purpose of assuring the upper limit of average outgoing surplus quality loss in the production lots when the lot quality follows the mixed normal distribution.
