The SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) based softwares are escalated because of quickly coping with business requirement. SOA can not apply to existing test method because of loosely coupled service and massage exchange architecture. In this paper, we suggest a method of test case generation using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation). First we model processes, then make Business Flow Graph (BFG). After searching the euler path through symmetrized BFG about input and output degrees, we generate test cases. A method of test case generation using BPMN can apply at SOA-based system, and reduce the number of test cases.
The behavior of a jointed rock mass depends mainly on the geometrical and mechanical properties of joints. The failure mode of a rock mass and kinematics of rock blocks are governed by the orientation, spacing, and persistence of joints. The mechanical properties such as dilation angle, shear strength, maximum closure, strength of asperities and friction coeffiient play important roles on the stability and deformation of the rock mass. The normal and shear behaviour of a joint are coupled due to dilation, and the joint deformation depends also on the boundary conditions such as stiffness conditons. In this paper, the joint constitutive law including the dilatant behaviour of a joint is numerically modelled using the edge-to-edge contact logic in distinct element method. Also, presented is the method to quantify the input parameters used in the joint law. The results from uniaxial compression and direct shear tests using the numeical model of the single joint were compared to the analytic results from them. The boundary effect on the behaviour of a joint is verified by comparing the results of direct shear test under constant stress boundary condition with those under constant stiffness boundary condition. The numerical model developed is applied to a complex jointed rock mass to examine its performance and to evaluate the effect of joint dilation on tunnel stability.
Motivation for learning is important for positive learning outcomes as well as for measured achievement levels. When students come to our classes, they bring with them learning histories in which we as individual teachers, most likely, did not have an input. Our students do not only bring with them different levels of prerequisite leanings but also different levels of affect for what they will be learning. If we leave their final learning at the mercy of these entry characteristics, a test given the first day before the course will have almost isomorphic results with their achievement levels on the last day. The ones who had 'it' on the first day will be the ones who in the future will also have 'it', not too different from what the present situation is all over the world. These circumstances will tend to be the case ad infinitum, unless of course, we want to change the situation. This research clearly shows that effective instructional methodologies coupled with cooperative peer interactions not only have an impact on achievement but also on positive attitudes toward one's learning.

Accurate predictions about the water quality of a river have great importance in identifying in-stream flow and water supply requirements and solving relevant environmental problems. In this study, the effect of water release from upstream dam on the downstream water quality has been investigated by applying a hydological model combined with QUAL2E to Geum River basin. The ESP (Ensemble Stream Prediction) method, which has been validated and verified by lots of researchers, was used to predict reservoir and tributary inflow. The input parameters for a combined model to predict both hydrological characteristics and water quality were identified and optimized. In order to verify the model performance, the simulated result at Gongju station, located at the downstream from Daecheong Dam, has been compared with measured data in 2008. As a result, it was found that the proposed model simulates well the values of BOD, T-N, and T-P with an acceptable reliability.

There is a great demand of micro-actuators for mobile information devices such as SFF optical drives and mobile phone cameras. However, the magnetic coils used in conventional electromagnetic motors are a major obstacle for the miniaturization because of their complicated structures and large power consumption. In this paper, a linear ultrasonic motor to actuate focusing lens of mobile devices is proposed. The new actuator uses a ring type bimorph piezoelectric material, and $d_{31}$ mode is adopted for applying linear motion. The interaction between inertia force and friction force makes linear motion by high-frequency saw signal input. The saw signal gives steady forces on the one direction by asymmetric inclination property of the signal itself on time domain. A commercial FEM(ANSYS) was used in this investigation for simulating structural analysis, identification of dynamic property, such as resultant displacement and coupled analysis with piezoelectric material. To evaluate the performance of the new design, a prototype was manufactured and experiments were carried out. Experimental results show the actuator motion of 5.4 mm/s at 10V saw signal of 41 kHz.

Instead of using three charge-coupled devices (CCDs) for the corresponding color channels, most consumer's most consummer's color macmorders reconstruct color images by using only one CCD with a color filter array (CFA), which periodically samples different color signals. By this reson the resulting image cannot produce the full resolution of the input image. More sepecifically, a single-CCD color camcorder reconstructs red, greed, and blue color channels from a color filter array followed by a CCD. During the reconstruction process, color cross-talk among channels (interchannel distortion) and eriodically space-verying blur (intrachannel distortion) occur. The proposed restoration system reduces distortions due to interchannel interference, and then restores each color channel by removing the corresponding intrachannel distortion. Experimental results show that the proposedsystem provides the improved image in oth objective and subjective senses. A major advantage of the proposed system is feasible to real-time image improvement because it can be implemented by a finite impulse response (FIR) filter structure.

Seismic qualification of equipment including piping is performed by using floor response spectra (FRS) or in-structure response spectra (ISRS) as the earthquake input at the base of the equipment. The amplitude of the FRS may be noticeably reduced when obtained from coupling analysis because of interaction between the primary structure and the equipment. This paper introduces a method using a modal synthesis approach to generate the FRS in a coupled primary-secondary system that can avoid numerical instabilities or inaccuracies. The FRS were generated by considering the dynamic interaction that can occur at the interface between the supporting structure and the equipment. This study performed a numerical example analysis using a typical nuclear structure to investigate the coupling effect when generating the FRS. The study results show that the coupling analysis dominantly reduces the FRS and yields rational results. The modal synthesis approach is very practical to implement because it requires information on only a small number of dynamic characteristics of the primary and the secondary systems such as frequencies, modal participation factors, and mode shape ordinates at the locations where the FRS needs to be generated.

A 23GHz 2-stage LNA was designed using MPIE numerical analysis and microwave CAD EEsof softwares. The basic circuit was designed by EEsof tools but analyzed more precisely using numerical MPIE tools and modified. The matching sections of the input and output terminals were designed with paralledl coupled filter-type lines, these matching sections perform impedance matching and DC blocking, more over have the advantages of small discontinuities and small errors in the design process. The FET chip is directly attached to the ground metal. The designed LNA gives 15.2dB gain and 2.7dB noise figure. without considering 1.8dB loss of connectors. These results validate our design process and matching schemes and fabrication technologies over the 20GHz frequency range.

This paper describes the PSIM simulator for the analysis of the series type HEV operation. The traction force of the series type HEV of which engine is electrically coupled with a traction motor is supplied from the traction motor only. The rating of each power train components, such as gear, motor, ESS, ICE/generator, is designed with the Energy-Based Modeling method and the Electrical Peaking Hybrid(ELPH) method. Under driving cycle, the designed series HEV is evaluated with the developed PSIM simulator. A comparison between the conventional braking and the regenerative braking is performed with the average motor input power. And the fuel economy analysis is carried out on the basis of the simulation results.
This study focuses on the system identification of reinforced concrete bridges using vector autoregressive model (VAR). First, the time series output response from a bridge establishes the autoregressive (AR) models. AR models are one of the most accurate methods for stationary time series. Burg's algorithm estimates the autoregressive coefficients (ARCs) at p-lag by reducing the sum of the forward and the backward errors. The computed ARCs are assembled in the state system matrix and the eigen-system realization algorithm (ERA) computes: the eigenvector matrix that contains the vectors of the mode shapes, and the eigenvalue matrix that contains the associated natural frequencies. By taking advantage of the characteristic of the AR model with ERA (ARMERA), civil engineering can address problems related to damage detection. Operational modal analysis using ARMERA is applied to three experiments. One experiment is coupled with an artificial neural network algorithm and it can detect damage locations and extension. The neural network uses a specific number of ARCs as input and multiple submatrix scaling factors of the structural stiffness matrix as output to represent the damage.
