In this paper, the effect of the loess and mud of an inorganic substance dyed on cotton knitting fabrics have been studied The structure and chemical composition of loess and mud was analyzed. And the Far-Infrared emissivity and emission power, colorfastness, anti-bacterial properties cotton knitting fabrics dyed with loess and mud were also evaluated. The structure and chemical composion of loess and mud was almost identical structure and to be alike main components were SiO$_2$, Al$_2$0$_3$ and Fe$_2$O$_3$. The cotton hitting fabrics dyed with loess and mud have good colorfastness and anti-bacterial properties. when the dyed fabrics was after-treated with diphenyl ether, the anti-bacterial property were improved. Far-Infrared emissivity and emission power cotton knitting fabrics dyed with loess and mud have very good.
The experiments about dyeing concentration, temperature and time were done using yellow, red and purple loess as natural inorganic dyes in order to verify a degree of dyeing, characteristics of color and fastness. The results were as following; 1. As a result of analyzing components of loess, purple loess was much than other loess in quartz component and coarse particles contained. This affected to the degree of dyeing. 2. The stronger dyeing concentration was, the more the degree of dyeing was improved, and yellow loess containing fine particles was the best in the degree of dyeing. 3. When it was dyed with raising up to $100^\circ{C}$ for 10 minutes after stirring for 20 minutes at $60^\circ{C}$, was better than on starting at $40^\circ{C}$ or $80^\circ{C}$ in the degree of dyeing. Also yellow loess was the best in these experiments. 4. Washing fastness of loess was low such as other natural dyes, but dyeing wasn't transferred to other textiles. On the other hand, light fastness of it was very excellent and rubbing fastness was relatively good as 3~3.5.
Tissues of $Panax\;Schinseng\;N_{EES}\;root$ were cultured on the synthetic agar media to investigate the nutrient efficiency on the callus induction and organ formation. The differentiation pattern of the callus mass and the structure of the induced organ (root) were observed internally. On White's medium, callus formation needed the supplement of 2,4-D (5mg/l) and kinetin (1.0mg/l), and on MS medium the root induction NAA (0.2mg/l) and kinetin (0.1mg/l). In order to investigate the effect of inorganic components on callus formation, the inorganic part of White' medium was substituted with those of Heller, Murashige Skoog, and Earle. As the result culture Earle's was most effective. On the other hand, the roots were induced from the meristem in the deep region of callus mass. Since this meristem is similar to the pericambium of tap root, they are the same on the pattern of morphogenesis.

The preparation of an organic/inorganic polymer hybrid from a novolac derivatives is described. The hybrid was prepared by the acid-catalyzed solgel reaction of phenyl-trimethoxysilane (PhTMOS) in the presence of anisole novolac. The resulting film was transparent and showed a high heat stability. The dispersion of two components might be due to the utilization of the p-p interaction between the phenyl ring of the silica matrix and that of novolac. This makes it possible to prepare a hybrid glass having a highly content of novolac derivatives.

The inorganic compositions of traditional lye, and lyes prepared from the stalks of five different agricultural products: beans, wheat, barley, buckwheat and red peppers, were analyzed. Traditional lye was composed mainly of a weak alkaline salt, potassium carbonate as the major component and neutral salts, potassium chloride and potassium sulfate as minor components. The ash and lye contents of buckwheat have significantly higher then those of the rest agricultgural products. Bean and red pepper stalks lyes were composed mainly of potassium carbonate, similar to the composition of traditional lye, but also contained potassium chloride or sulfate. In contrast, postassium chloride was the major component of wheat and barley stalk lye.

Dry deposition fluxes of inorganic acidic species to the waterbody were measured by the dry deposition sampler (DDS). DDS was composed of three pans filled with pure water. An average concentration increase during the sampling time, after removing an abnormal value if existed, was considered as the input by deposition. Important operation parameters such as the amount of water used and sampling time were determined through a series of laboratory experiments. The deposition flux measured by DDS was compared with that by the water surface sampler developed by Yi et ai. (1997a,b).

The development of polymer/inorganic nanocomposites has attracted a great deal of interest due to the improved hybrid properties derived from the two different components. Various nanoscale fillers have been used to enhance polymer mechanical and thermal properties, such as toughness, stiffness, and heat resistance. The effects of the filler on the final properties of the nanocomposites are highly dependent on the filler shape, particle size, aggregate size, surface characteristics, polymer/inorganic interactions, and degree of dispersion. In this paper, we describe the influence of different $CaCO_3$ dispersion methods on the thermal properties of polyethylene terephthalate (PET)/$CaCO_3$ composites: i.e., the adsorption of $CaCO_3$ on the modified PET surface, and the hydrophobic modification of the hydrophilic $CaCO_3$ surface. We prepared PET/$CaCO_3$ nanocomposites using a twin-screw extruder, and investigated their thermal properties and morphology.
This article highlights new opportunities of inorganic semiconductor materials for bio-implantable electronics, as a subset of 'transient' technology defined by an ability to physically dissolve, chemically degrade, or disintegrate in a controlled manner. Concepts of foundational materials for this area of technology with historical background start with the dissolution chemistry and reaction kinetics associated with hydrolysis of nanoscale silicon surface as a function of temperature and pH level. The following section covers biocompatibility of silicon, including related other semiconductor materials. Recent transient demonstrations of components and device levels for bioresorbable implantation enable the future direction of the transient electronics, as temporary implanters and other medical devices that provide important diagnosis and precisely personalized therapies. A final section outlines recent bioresorbable applications for sensing various biophysical parameters, monitoring electrophysiological activities, and delivering therapeutic signals in a programmed manner.

A study on a new anti-finger printed EGI steel sheet with high corrosion resistance has been carried out to meet the recent requirement of high quality and performance of the pure zinc electrogalvanized steel sheet. The substrate was the pure zinc electrogalvanized sheet with the metallic coating of 20g/$\m^2$. The two differ-ent processes for inorganic(chromating) and organic(resin) coating were applied. One was a two coat/two bake type to separately treat chromating and resin coating which is now widely used. The other was a one coat/one bake type to simultaneously treat them which is newly developed in this study. The solution for the one coat/one bake type was an aqua-base coating agents which was composed of inorganic and organic components. The new anti-finger printed EGI steel sheet with the Cr and resin coating weight of 13mg/$\m^2$ and 800mg/$\m^2$, respectively shows the superior corrosion resistance besides the good paintability, formability fingerprint resistance and earth characteristics properties.
Inorganic binders were studied in order to apply a conservation material for stone monument. A pure inorganic binder and 3 species of inorganic binder which contain additives on the basis of a pure inorganic binder were selected as test samples. Through the application of inorganic binders on Geochang granite investigate their influences on stone. pH 4.0 and 5.6 acid solution, respectively were manufactured on the basis of the acidity of domestic rainfall. Alkaline water with pH 8.0 and deionized water with pH 6.85 were prepared as control group. Changes in weights of inorganic binders were not definite according to the acidity of water while weight losses in inorganic binder type were greater after reaction with the water. The compressive strengths of pure inorganic binder was largest before the test but its decrease rate were larger after reaction with the water. Water absorption rate of inorganic binders are 6.72 to $12.44kg/m^2{\cdot}t^{1/2}$ after reaction with the water. Such high absorption was considered that it forced water to move deep into inorganic binder and made the components of inorganic binder dissolve. Acidities of the water of pH 4.0, 5.6, 6.85 and 8.0, respectively were changed to pH 9.0-10.0 after reaction with the inorganic binders. Ion concentrations in the water changed after reaction with the inorganic binders and $Mg^{2+}$, and $K^+$ significantly increased, dissolved from the binder. The high concentration of ions detected showed that the binder reacted with water and formed white salts with high solubility such as $MgSO_4{\cdot}nH_2O$, $KNO_3$. Ion concentrations significantly decreased from the binder after treatment with consolidant and water repellent.
