  • In regard to the growth and development of Innocity from improvements in Innocity settlement environment, this research examines the level of satisfaction of Innocity settlement environment to propose a political implications. We deduced the main cause of settlement environment satisfaction by performing logistic regression on the public institution employees level of satisfaction in respect to 4 Innocity characteristics?six physical properties, three social properties, five facility properties, three economical properties?and three general questions. As a result, the greatest factor of settlement environment was physical properties, such as natural environment and scenery, residential environment, availability of diverse uses in the surrounding area, and access to public transportation. In addition, social characteristics (relationships with neighbors), and facilities (availability of industrial, research and educational facilities) were also significant. This research provided political implications for future Innocity settlement environment improvements despite limiting factors such as residents' perception and limited surveyed sites.

  • With respect to the growth and development of innocity from improvements in leisure environments, this research examines the factors that affect the level of satisfaction of innocity leisure environments to propose political implications. In order to do so, 43 leisure activities were chosen, and the level of importance of those activities to the residents prior to moving to the innocity was compared to the level of satisfaction the residents felt regarding the activities after moving. As a result, 13 activities, including literature attendance, had greater levels of satisfaction after moving than the levels of importance prior to moving. The rest (30) activities showed the opposite results. We deduced the factors that affect the level of satisfaction by performing logistic regression analysis on 3 dependent variables. As a result, the static and passive leisure activities had higher satisfactory levels, whereas the dynamic and active had lower satisfactory levels. Thus, innocity must develop culture facilities quickly, expand exercise facilities to support sports activties, and promote tourism by improving and networking with tourist attractions in order to improve future satisfactory levels of leisure activities.

  • This paper identify factors of migration of employees' household who work for relocated public institutions. As a factors of migration, we consider individual and household characteristics, the gravity model of distance and population and so on. Considering discrete dependant variable and structure of data, we employ the logistic multilevel model and random intercept model. The result indicates employees' who are female, 30s and 40s, higher education level(PhD) and whose spouse are unemployed tend to transfer their residential registration to new city near relocated public institution. Regarding regional variable, the distance from employee's previous residential location and number of migration of prior year are statistically significant. Also the model indicate regional economy, educational and residential environment of new city influence employee's decision for transferring residential registration.

  • The necessity of aggregate resources in Korea has been increased with a rapid economic growth since the 1990s. Construction activities have been increased drastically for last two decades. Such economic activities are much concentrated at big cities in Korea, and recently new neighbouring cities, such as multifunctional administrative city, enterprise city and innocity, are under construction at the surroundings of the cities. This new urbanization asked for an appropriate supply of raw construction materials such as cement, sands and gravels. The aim of this study is to understand and discuss the analysis and prospect of supply and demand of domestic sand and gravel. On the early years, 1990s, about 25% of the total consumption of these sands and gravels comes from riverine deposits; 20% to 25% from marine sands, 40% to 45% from forest rocks and the rest 5% to 15% from old fluvial deposits and crushed rocks. But nowaday the river aggregate, including both sands and gravels of a present river channel and those of the old fluviatile system are decreasing, while the crushed and forest aggregates and marine sand are now the main source of infrastructure resources. Thus it is increasingly necessary to investigate the forest and crushed aggregate resources potential in Korea where a current analysis indicate that the supply of riverine aggregates gradually decreases.
