  • This study tries to investigate the relationship between physical perception and creative thinking of dancers by dance imagery training programs. The inner imagery and the external expression of dancers are a divergent expression process of autosuggestion, and substantiate the relationship between physical perception and creative thinking. The key point consists in the active thinking process of problem recognition and problem solving by imagination, and means a new perceptivity and the communication capability. Dance imagery is a perception training based on the integration principle of body and soul, and so dancers should create a new approach of communication through the diversity of wide inner imagination and the active thinking of external expression.

  • Locally linear embedding (LLE) [1] is a type of manifold algorithms, which preserves inner product value between high-dimensional data when embedding the high-dimensional data to low-dimensional space. LLE closely embeds data points on the same subspace in low-dimensional space, because the data points have significant inner product values. On the other hand, if the data points are located orthogonal to each other, these are separately embedded in low-dimensional space, even though they are in close proximity to each other in high-dimensional space. Meanwhile, it is well known that the facial images of the same person under varying illumination lie in a low-dimensional linear subspace [2]. In this study, we suggest an improved LLE method for face recognition problem. The method maximizes the characteristic of LLE, which embeds the data points totally separately when they are located orthogonal to each other. To accomplish this, all of the subspaces made by each class are forced to locate orthogonally. To make all of the subspaces orthogonal, the simultaneous Diagonalization (SD) technique was applied. From experimental results, the suggested method is shown to dramatically improve the embedding results and classification performance.

  • In this paper, we compare face recognition rate by PCA algorithm using distance change and embedded data being input left side and right side image in stereo images. The proposed method detects face region from RGB color space to YCbCr color space. Also, The extracted face image's scale up/down according to distance change and extracts more robust face region. The proposed method through an experiment could establish standard distance (100cm) in distance about 30∼200cm, and get 99.05% (100cm) as an average recognition result by scale change. The definition of super state is specification region in normalized size (92${\times}$112), and the embedded data extracts the inner factor of defined super state, achieved face recognition through PCA algorithm. The orignal images can receive specification data in limited image's size (92${\times}$112) because embedded data to do learning not that do all learning, in image of 92${\times}$112 size averagely 99.05%, shows face recognition rate of test 1 99.05%, test 2 98.93%, test 3 98.54%, test 4 97.85%. Therefore, the proposed method through an experiment showed that if apply distance change rate could get high recognition rate, and the processing speed improved as well as reduce face information.

  • In this paper, we propose a novel method for analyzing human interactions based on the walking trajectories of human subjects. Our principal assumption is that an interaction episode is composed of meaningful smaller unit interactions, which we call 'sub-interactions.' The whole interactions are represented by an ordered concatenation or a network of sub-interaction models. From the experiments, we could confirm the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed method by analyzing the inner workings of an interaction network and comparing the performance with other previous approaches.

  • Creativity is the thinking ability and the expression of new image by imagination as a problem recognition and way of solution. This study aims to search for the creativity theory of body movement and to analyze the creativity factor. According to the study, the creativity of body movement needs four steps: movement awareness, movement design, movement discovery and movement use. The use of new image through self-perception and self concept brings about a creative improvement in the problem recognition and its resolution function. In conclusion, the creativity of body movement means the infinity of body movement as 'the third energy' and 'the flexibility of flow' by interaction.

  • This paper presents an external light evasion method that rectifies the problem of misrecognition due to external lighting. The fundamental concept underlying the proposed method involves recognition of the differences between two images and elimination of the desynchronized external light by synchronizing the image sensor and inner light source of the optical touch screen. A range of artificial indoor light sources and natural sunlight are assessed. The proposed system synchronizes with a Vertical Synchronization (VSYNC) signal and the light source drive signal of the image sensor. Therefore, it can display synchronized light of the acquired image through the image sensor and remove external light that is not from the light source. A subtraction operation is used to find the differences and the absolute value of the result is utilized; hence, the order is irrelevant. The resulting image, which displays only a touched blob on the touchscreen, was created after image processing for coordination recognition and was then supplied to a coordination extraction algorithm.

  • In this paper, we propose an efficient method for recognizing pupils and lip in a human face. Pupils are detected by a cost function, which uses features based on the eye's shape and a relation between pupil and eyebrow. The inner boundary of lip is detected by weighted vectors based on lip's shape and on the difference of gray level between lip and face skin. These vectors extract four feature points of lip : the top of the upper lip, the bottom of the lower lip, and the two corners. The experiments have been performed for many images and show very encouraging result.

  • In this paper, we propose a method dividing effectively the hand and fingers using general webcam. The method executes 4 times empirically preprocessing one to erase noise. First, it erases the overall noise of the image using Gaussian smoothing. Second, it changes from RGB image to HSV color model and YCbCr color model, executes a global static binarization based on the statistical value for each color model, and erase the noise through bitwise-OR operation. Third, it executes outline approximation and inner region filling algorithm using RDP algorithm and Flood fill algorithm and erase noise. Lastly, it erases noise through morphological operation and determines the threshold propositional to the image size and selects the hand and fingers area. This paper compares to existing one color based hand area division method and focuses the noise deduction and can be used to a gesture recognition application.

  • In this paper, the developed trunk cargo unloading automation system is introduced, and the RGB-D sensor-based box loading situation recognition method and unloading plan applied to this system are suggested. First of all, it is necessary to recognize the position of the box in a truck. To do this, we first apply CNN-based YOLO, which can recognize objects in RGB images in real-time. Then, the normal vector of the center of the box is obtained using the depth image to reduce misrecognition in parts other than the box, and the inner wall of the truck in an image is removed. And a method of classifying the layers of the boxes according to the distance using the recognized depth information of the boxes is suggested. Given the coordinates of the boxes on the nearest layer, a method of generating the optimal path to take out the boxes the fastest using this information is introduced. In addition, kinematic analysis is performed to move the conveyor to the position of the box to be taken out of the truck, and kinematic analysis is also performed to control the robot arm that takes out the boxes. Finally, the effectiveness of the developed system and algorithm through a test bed is proved.

  • The aim of this study was to recognize the need of three generation family house that is traditional house type of Korea. First, the pre-research analysis method was used for this study. And then, there are three type's grouping like those are as follows; 1) Recognition of three generation family house. 2) Type of three generation family house. 3) Plans of three generation family house. The analysis results are as follows; If the conditions are better than now, recognition is positive. Type are living together and next doors type can direct access. Some standart plan is been about room's number, house's area, bath's number and so on. Second, try to compare plan - this plan already has been used building - with standard plan. The compare result are as follows; three generation family houses - be used by whom - do not apply to standard plan. Almost houses have a three room that is less than the standard plan. All houses have a number of two bath that is less than the standard plan too. Condition of consideration is suitable to ages in next door type, but in case of living together type that consider user whom is use the inner room. Separation of entrance distinguish between the living together type and the next doors type. In case of living together type Dining with Kitchen room's number is one, but the next doors type have the number of two.
