Satrec Initiative (Si) is developing a ground processing system for Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) data. SAR provides its own illumination and is not dependent on the light from sun, thus permitting continuous day/night operation and all-weather imaging. The system is capable of producing standard level products from SAR signal. Hence, the system should be able to perform matched filtering, range compression, azimuth compression, multi-look image generation, and geocoded image generation. This paper will describe the processing steps including algorithms, design, and accuracy of the Si's SAR processing system by comparing with commercial software.

The purpose of this research was to investigate and analyse the internal structural organisation of UK's urban fringe management initiatives and its roles. Caerphilly Mountain Countryside Service and Thames Chase Community Forest Initiatives were investigated. The Caerphilly Mountain Countryside Service Initiative operates through a tiered structure consisting of the Caerphilly Mountain Joint Committee, the Officers' Working Party, and the management team. The Thames Chase Community Forest Initiative is operated through a tiered structure comprising the Thames Chase Joint Committee and the management team. Although the role of each management initiative is invested differently in certain internal organisational bodies, such as the governance body and the management body, what is common to all the urban fringe management initiatives is that the governance body within each management initiative tries to speak with one voice to bring about an effective operation process, and the management team employs a variety of devices to secure the enrolment of a variety of interest groups in its operational processes.

We report high pressure synthesis of Sr$_{0.9}$Sm$_{0.1}$CuO$_2$. Powder x-ray diffraction showed that the synthesized compounds have infinite layer structure as a major component. Slow heating at the first stage of heating processes after pressurization resulted in several larger grains. The largest grain was found to have the longest edge length of about 100 micrometer. Through magnetic property measurement in superconducting state, we found that pinning in this compound has substantial difference from that of La doped infinite layer, which has no unpaired spin at Sr site.

Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate whether parent's play participation and children's friendly play initiative affect children's executive function through children's play flow. Methods: The survey was conducted on 376 children between the age of 3 and 5 their parents in Daegu city and Gyeonsang province. Data were collected through the questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and path analysis with SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 23.0 programs. Results: The major results were as follows. First, There were significant differences in parent's play participation, children's friendly play initiative, children's play flow, and executive function according to the children's age and family income. Second, parent's play participation and children's friendly play initiative indirectly affected children's executive function through children's play flow. Conclusion/Implications: This study highlights how children's play affects executive function. Also, the findings of this study will contribute to designing various programs that can promote parent's play participation, children's friendly play initiative, and play flow, which affects the children's executive function.

서울시에서 추진하고 있는 복지생태계조성사업, 마을공동체지향복지관 변화지원 사업과 최근 발의된 <마을공동체기본법> 등 주민주도성은 지역복지활동의 방향성으로 중요하게 부상하고 있는 개념이다. 그러나 주민주도성 개념이 무엇인지에 대한 합의 없이 사용되고 있어, 현장에서 활용되는데 한계가 지적되고 있다. 본 연구는 개념도 연구법(Concept mapping)을 적용하여 서울시내 복지관의 실무자 10명을 대상으로 주민주도성에 대한 59개의 진술문을 생성하여 개념지도를 그리고 다차원척도분석과 위계적 군집분석을 실시하여 총 6개의 범주를 도출하였다. 6개의 범주는 "참여유도", "실천", "절차", "인식과 관심 확장", "의견표출", "태도와 정서"로 명명할 수 있었으며, 주민주도성 개념에서 "실천"이 핵심범주로 드러났다. 본 연구는 주민주도성의 개념에 대해 실제 사회복지실천현장의 실무자들은 어떻게 정의하고 있는지, 또 주민주도성을 실현하기 위해 사회복지사의 역할은 어떠해야 하는지에 대한 고민을 논의하고 향후 합의된 정의를 만들어가는 첫 시도로서 그 의의가 있다.
