경계요소법에 의한 2차원 탄소성응력해석 (Two Dimensional Elasto-plastic Stress Analysis by the B.E.M.)

  • 본 연구에서는 Kelvin의 기본해와 초기응력 증분에 의해 정식화된 경계적분방 정식을 이용하여 점차적으로 외력을 증가시켰을 때, 선형등방경화재에 국부적으로 생 기는 항복영역과 항복하중, 탄소성 응력해석등을 재료비선형문제로 해석하였다. 이 때 초기응력 증분을 결정함에 있어서 종래에는 등가 소성변형률을 수렴판정으로 해석 하였지만, 이는 구분적인 선형 경화재와 온도 의존성 문제에는 적당하지 않으므로 암 기용일등은 등가응력과 응력-변형률 선도를 이용하여 수렴판정을 하였다. 그러나 이 방법은 소성역에서의 기울기가 변화하는 곳에서는 피할 수 없는 오차가 존재한다. 따라서 여기에서는 계산된 초기응력 증분에 의한 초기 탄성변형률에너지 증분과 응력 -변형률선도로 부터 구해지는 초기 탄성변형률에너지 증분을 이용한 수렴판정으로 초 기응력증분을 결정하였다. 또한, 내부영역적분을 일부 해석적인 적분과 수치적분을 병행한 경우와 전부 수치적분방법으로 내압을 받는 실린더와 단순 인장하중이 작용하 는 양편 Ⅴ형 노치를 갖는 박판의 경우에 적용하여 해석하였으며, 그 결과를 유한요소 법 프로그램인 NISA(numerically integrated elements for system analysis)로 구한 결과치와 비교, 고찰하였다.

잔류응력 및 변형을 고려한 용접평판부재의 최종강도 해석 (The Ultimate Strength Analysis of the Welded Plate Elements having Resiual Stresses and Strains)

  • For the rational and economic design of the structural elements of ships which is built using welding, the ultimate strength analyses of the plates having initial imperfections, such as welding residual stresses and strains, are needful. The welding deformation usually relied on approximative equations or based on expert's experience. But in this paper, for the thermal elasto-plastic analysis of plates, the finite element analysis was performed, based on initial strain method. In formulating the incremental analysis, unbalanced force terns were included. In the plastic domain during the incremental process, the 2nd order terns stress increment and yield stress increment were considered, so that time increment could be controlled for a more stable solution. The ultimate strength analysis program of the plates having initial imperfections was made. The ultimate strength analysis was carried out based on the results of the welding deformations of this paper. In the ultimate strength analysis the Rayleigh-Ritz method based on the minimum potential theory was used.

SH-wave in a piezomagnetic layer overlying an initially stressed orthotropic half-space

  • The existence of SH-wave in a piezomagnetic layer overlying an initially stressed orthotropic half-space is investigated. The coupled of differential equations are solved for piezomagnetic layer overlying an orthotropic elastic half-space. The general dispersion equation has been derived for both magnetically open circuit and magnetically closed circuits under the four types of boundary conditions. In the absence of the piezomagnetic properties, initial stress and orthotropic properties of the medium, the dispersion equations reduce to classical Love equation. The SH-wave velocity has been calculated numerically for both magnetically open circuit and closed circuits. The effect of initial stress and magnetic permeability are illustrated by graphs in both the cases. The velocity of SH-wave decreases with the increment of wave number.

사질토 지반의 띠하중 재하에 따른 지중응력증가비의 실험적 고찰 (An Experimental Study for Soil Pressure Increment Ratios according to Strip Load in Sandy Soil)

  • Soil stress distribution under loading is one of the important problems in civil engineering. Many models have been proposed to interpret the stress distribution in soil and most models assume that the soil is homogeneous and isotropic. Therefore, the actual stress distribution may be different. In addition, With the increase of the top load, soil stress does not increase linearly. In this study, vertical stress changes in sandy soil according to top load increase were measured through experiments. Experimental results, vertical soil stress due to top load increase showed an initial nonlinear behavior and when the load increases to some extent, vertical soil stress showed a linear behavior. ${\alpha}$ value obtained by existing theories always 1.00. But, ${\alpha}$ value by experiment was observed from 0.91 to 1.22 and ${\alpha}$ value was increased with increasing distance from the loading plate.

응력 기반 볼 베어링의 접촉피로수명 예측 (Stress based Fatigue Life Prediction for Ball Bearing)

  • The method for fatigue life prediction of ball bearing is proposed applying the algorithm of contact fatigue prediction based on stress analysis. In order to do this, a series of simulation such as initial surface stress analysis, EHL analysis, subsurface stress analysis and fatigue analysis are conducted from the loading at each ball location calculated for a bearing subjected to external bearing load and contact shape function. And uniaxial fatigue tests are performed to obtain fatigue parameter of AISI 52100 steel. It was found that since stress is usually higher at the inner raceway contact than at the outer raceway contact, fatigue failure occurs on the inner raceway first. When the fatigue life calculated in the stress-based method are compared with $L_{50}$ life of L-P model, Crossland criterion for the radial load increment is similar to $L_{50}$ life and Dang Van criterion for the axial load increment is similar. In the case of EHL contact. there is no difference of fatigue life between dry contact and EHL contact, when maximum Hertz pressure exceeds 2.5GPa.

반복재하(反復載荷)에 의한 점성토(粘性土)의 응력변형특성(應力變形特性) (Stress-Strain Behavior of Clays under Repeated Loading)

  • 과압밀비(過壓密比)와 전단속도(剪斷速度) 및 다짐율(率)이 점성토(粘性土)의 응력변형특성(應力變形特性)에 미치는 영향(影響)을 검토(檢討)하기 위해서 반부극하(反復戟荷)에 의(依)한 삼축압축시험(三軸壓縮試驗)을 한 결과(結果)를 요약(要約)하면 다음과 같다. 1. 반부재하(反復載荷)를 했을 때 같은 변형(變形)에서 축차응력의 차(差)는 큰 변형(變形)에서 반부재하(反復載荷)했을 때 더욱 크게 나타났고 공극수압(空隙水壓)은 제하시(除荷時)에는 감소(減少)하다가 다시 증가(增加)하며 재재하(再載荷)되면서 급격히 증가하는 현상(現象)을 나타냈다. 2. 과압밀비(過壓密比)가 클수록 변형(變形)의 증가(增加)에 따라 회복되는 탄성변형률은 감소(減少)하였으며 제일재하계수(除一載荷係數)는 과압밀비가 증가(增加)할수록 감소(減少)하였다. 3. 전단속도(剪斷速度)가 증가(增加)함에 따라 탄성변형율(彈性變形率)은 증가(增加)하였고 변형(變形)의 증가(增加)에 따라 탄성변형율(彈性變形率)은 감소(減少)하였다. 제일재하계수(除一載荷係數)는 변형(變形)이 증가(增加)함에 따라 감소(減少)하였고 전단속도(剪斷速度)가 빠른 경우에 큰 값을 나타냈다. 4. 회복되는 탄성변형율(彈性變形率)은 다짐율이 증가(增加)함에 따라 크게 나타났고 또 변형(變形)이 증가(增加)함에 따라 탄성변형율(彈性變形率)은 약간 감소(減少)하는 경향(傾向)을 나타냈다. 제일재하계수(除一載荷係數)는 다짐율(率)의 증가(增加)에 따라 뚜렷한 경향(傾向)은 보이지 않았으나 일반적(一般的)으로 변형(變形)이 증가(增加)함에 따라 감소(減少)하는 경향(傾向)을 나타냈다.

열탄소성 해석에 의한 잔류응력의 계산 (Calculation of residual stresses by thermal elasto-plastic analysis)

  • Welding residual stresses were calculated by two dimensional thermal elasto-plastic analysis using element method. Complicated plastic behavior during heat transfer was simulated with time. Fist, temperature distributions. To consider time varying behavior of material properties and loading and unloading processes, iterative calculation based on initial stiffness method was carried out. The method proposed by Yamata was used in time increment control which determined the accuracy of claculation. comparison with other caculated and experimental results shows fairly good agreement.

토목섬유 보강점성토의 응력~변형특성에 미치는 초기응력비의 영향 (The Influence of Initial Stress Ratio on the Stress~Strain Characteristics of Geosynthetics Reinforced Clayey Soil)

  • 토목섬유 보강점성토의 응력~변형특성을 삼축압축시험을 통하여 조사하였다. 모든 시험은0.05kgf/$cm^2$의 낮은 응력 증분으로 필요한 유효응력 수준까지 등방압밀 혹은 이방압밀한 후 배수조건으로 수행되었다. 보강토벽, 보강토교대, 보강성토와 같은 토류 구조물의 경우 일반적으로 이방응력 상태에 있으며, 이방압밀 배수전단시험의 경우 이러한 현장조건을 재현하기 위한 것이다. 일련의 시험결과로부터 이방압밀 보강점성토의 거동은 등방압밀 보강점성토의 응력~변형특성과 매우 상이한 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 이방압밀 보강점성토의 초기변형계수의 경우 등방압밀의 경우에 비하여 현저히 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 등방압밀의 경우(약 1.0~5.0%)에 비하여 이방압밀의 경우 매우 낮은 축변형률(0.01%)에서 보강효과가 발생하였다.

경계요소법(境界要素法)에 의한 균열 진전경로(進展經路)의 예측 (A Prediction of Crack Growth Path by Boundary Element Method)

  • The purpose of this paper is to apply the boundary element method to predict the crack growth path. The quarter point element with traction singularity at the crack tip is applied to compact tension type specimens and two inclined slit problems under compression load. The maximum stress criterion which was originally derived for the crack initiation is extended to the analysis of the crack propagation. The predicted crack paths with 1/4 crack growth increment of initial crack length agree quite well with experimental results. It is found that the computed crack path of the boundary element analysis is not mainly affected by the crack increment length.
