ISM에 의한 압력용기용 고온재료의 크리프 수명예측 (Creep Life Prediction of Elevated Temperature Materials for Pressure Vessel by ISM)

  • In this paper, friction welding optimization for 1Cr0.5Mo-STS304 (${\phi}14\;mm$), AE applications for the weld quality evaluation and the applications of various life prediction methods such as LMP (Larson-Miller Parameter) and ISM (initial strain method) were investigated : The creep behaviors of those steels and the friction welded joints under static load were examined by ISM combined with LMP at 400, 500, 550 and $600^{\circ}C$, and the relationship between these two kinds of phenomena was studied. The real-time predicting equations of elevated-temperature creep life (rupture time) under any creep stress at any elevated-temperature could be developed by LMP and LMP-ISM. It was confirmed that the life prediction equations by LMP and LMP-ISM are effective only up to 102 h and can not be used for long times of 103-106 h, but by ISM it can be used for long times creep prediction of more than 104 h with most reliability.

  • This study is to investigate its use by applying stainless steel wire mash reinforcement method of construction, which is newly developed, on the high strength concrete beam mixed with polymer-steel fiber. In this test, it is investigated and observed such as follows: the ultimate load, the initial flexure crack load, the initial diagonal tension crack load, the relation between load and deflection, load-strain relation, and also crack growth and fracture aspect by increasing load. The results of this test are; first, the stainless steel wire showed some useful reinforcement effects in multiplying the steel's resisting force of moment to the tensile force of beam or slab: second, the promoting strength and internal force was made in the process of the integration at the same reaction by using the penetrating polymer-mortar with an excellent durability and physical property. On the basis of this results, because such instances in applying stainless steel wire Mash reinforcement method of construction have been few so far, through the experimental investigation such as this test over and over again, the efficient and useful method must be developed for the practice.

  • 유효구속추력, 초기전단응력, 응력비 및 반복회수등의 영향을 고려하면서 비배수조건하에 있는 연약점토시료의 동력학적 전단탄성계수 및 감쇠비의 변화특성을 파악하기 위하여 일련의 삼축롱륜시험을 수행하였다. 그 결과, 초기전단응력 및 구속압력이 동력학적 토성치에 미치는 영향은 크지 않았지만, 축방향 변형의 증가에 따라 전단탄성계수는 감소하고 감쇠하는 증가하는 영향을 나타낸다. 또한, 전단탄성 계수는 Marcuson et al(3)과 Kokusho et al.(4)에 의해 제안된 경험식으로 얻어진 범위내에 분포되었고, 감쇠비는 Kokusho et al.(4)과 Ishihara et al.(9)에 의해 얻어진 범위에 분포됨을 보이고 있다.

다분할 해석법에 의한 장형코일의 곡가공 연구 (A Study of Bending Using Long Type Coil by Discrete Method)

  • The induction heating is more efficient for a plate bending because of its easy operation and control of working parameters, compared with the heating by a gas torch. The existing axis symmetric analysis method could neither handle initial curved plates nor be used in the optimization of coil shapes because of its limit of an axis symmetric coil shape. But the proposed method using some discrete part models and analysis processes could overcome these difficulties and show more accurate results in temperatures and deflections of flat or curved plates with initial curvature than those in the existing axis symmetric analysis method. This method is composed of the multi-disciplinary analyses such as an electro magnetic analysis, a heat transfer analysis and a deformation analysis based on inherent strain approach per each step. Traditionally, the coil shape in the induction heating is circular shape and it needs the moving process along heating lines. To overcome this, the 'Long Type Coil' with some linear parallel coils was proposed. It did not need the moving process along heating lines and reduced the heating process time. The results of experiments were compared with those of the simulation.

  • The engine exhaustive valve became essential as the important element. The dissimmilar welding method of exhaustive valve head to stem was asked for manufacturing the engine exhaustive valve, for which the electric resistance are welding has been conventionally used, resulting in poor quality of the welded joint. In this paper, not only the development of optimizing of friction welding with more reliability and more applicability but also the development of in-process real-time weld qudlity(such as strength and toughness) evaluation technique by acoustic emission for friction welding of the engine exhaustive valve(SUH3-SUH35 dissimilar steels) were perfomed. The high temperature(500, 500, 600$^{circ}$C) creep properties prediction of the friction welded joint of SUH3-SUH35 was investigated relating to the initial strain meethod(ISM) as a new approach, resulting in obtaining an experimental equation of creep life prediction.

토목 합성재료의 응력완화 거동 해석 (Analysis of Stress Relaxation Behaviors of Geosynthetics)

  • 보호, 여과 및 배수, 차수기능을 가진 부직포 지오텍스타일과 지오멤브레인의 응력완화거동을 각각 분석하였다. '전이현상 평형이론'이 이들 토목합성재료의 응력완화거동 해석에 적용되었다. 응력완화거동의 초기 및 후기완화시간을 구성방정식으로 부터 구하였다. 초기완화거동은 부가변형률에 좌우되며, 온도에 따라 빨라짐을 알 수 있었다. 끝으로, 이들 토목합성재료의 초기 및 후기완화시간은 부가변형률 및 온도에 따라 짧아졌다.

냉연 형상 교정시 Stress 천이 현상 연구 (Study of Stress Distribution of Cold Rolled Steel Sheets in Tension Leveling Process)

  • The shape of cold rolled steel sheets is defined as the degree of flatness, and the flatter, the better. Because undesirable strip shapes of cold rolled steel sheets can affect not only visible problem but also automatic working process in customer's lines, the requirement of the customers is more and more stringent. So we usually used the tension leveler to make high quality of strip flatness. For the improvement of the quality of strip flatness, this report developed three- dimensional FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation model, and analysis about the strain and stress distribution of strip in the tension leveling process. The numerical study can be summarized as follows. (1) If we pass the edge wave material (steepness: $1.0\%$) that the stress-difference between the strip center and the edge is 5.2kgf through tension leveler. the stress-difference is decreased 0.45kgf and the steepness is improved to $0.29\%$. (2) If the Intermesh is increased from 6mm to 7mm, the steepness is improved from $0.294\%$ to $0.268\%$. (3) If the initial steepness is decreased form $1.0\%$ to $0.75\%$, the final steepness is improved from $0.294\%$ to $0.263\%$. We know that more increased intermesh and lower initial steepness make the final steepness improved.

철근콘크리트 원형 교각의 전단성능에 대한 횡방향철근의 영향 (Effect of Transverse Steel on Shear Performance for RC Bridge Columns)

  • In seismic design, hollow section concrete columns offer advantages by reducing the weight and seismic mass compared to concrete section RC bridge columns. However, the flexure-shear behavior and spirals strain of hollow section concrete columns are not well-understood. Octagonal RC bridge columns of a small-scale model were tested under cyclic lateral load with constant axial load. The volumetric ratio of the transverse spiral hoop of all specimens is 0.00206. The test results showed that the structural performance of the hollow specimen, such as the initial crack pattern, initial stiffness, and diagonal crack pattern, was comparable to that of the solid specimen. However, the lateral strength and ultimate displacement of the hollow specimen noticeably decreased after the drift ratio of 3%. The columns showed flexure-shear failure at the final stage. Analytical and experimental investigations are presented in this study to understand a correlation confinement steel ratio with neutral axis and a correlation between the strain of spirals and the shear resistance capacity of steel in hollow and solid section concrete columns. Furthermore, shear strength components (Vc, V, Vp) and concrete stress were investigated.

변형률과 층 두께의 변화를 고려한 준설점토의 압밀특성과 압밀기간 (Consolidation Characteristics & Consolidation Period of Dredged Soil by Considering Change of Strain and Stratum Thickness)

  • 액성한계 두 배 이상의 매우 높은 함수비를 갖는 준설점토의 압밀특성을 파악하기 위해 Rowe cell 압밀시험기를 사용하여 압밀시험을 실시하였다. 초기함수비 변화가 압밀특성에 주는 영향을 검토하기 위해서 함수비를 $100\~150\%로$ 변화시켜서 실험을 수행하였고 재성형 준설점토의 압밀특성과 비교하였다. 실험결과로부터 준설점토의 초기함수비가 증가할수록 e-logP 곡선의 비선형적 거동이 뚜렷하였고, 하중단계 40kPa까지는 곡선의 기울기 변화가 급변하였으며 그 이후의 하중단계에서는 완만한 형상을 보여주었다. 압축지수비는 Mesri(1973)가 제안한 값의 범위 내에 존재하였으며, 초기함수비변화가 압밀계수에 미치는 영향은 거의 없었고 오히려 압밀하중의 크기가 연직압밀계수에 영향을 미치고 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한 대형압밀시험기를 이용하여 압밀기간 중 층 두께의 변화를 고려하여 압밀기간을 산정하는 Mikasa이론과 그렇지 않은 Terzaghi의 이론을 비교하였다. 그 결과 변형률이 큰 지반에서의 압밀기간은 압밀기간 중 층 두께의 변화를 고려한 Mikasa 이론의 경우가 그렇지 않은 경우보다 실측치에 근사하게 산정되었다.
