존 듀이의 경험이론을 통한 이용자 공간 지각 특성 연구 (Study on the Characteristics of the User Space Perception through the Use Dewey's Theory of Experience)

  • In smart era, concept of User experience has been an important issue both in academic and practical areas in recent years. Interactive space became one of the major design paradigms. For elevating the interactive effect, we need user?centered design methodology which uses the influential factors on the interactivity. As, well developed information technology made a lot of changes to various fields of our society, interactive space with the concept of HCI became a big issue in environmental design field. In this interactive space, various types of informative factors of the given space are sent using sensor and computer networking technology to the main system. So, a user's movement in the space in more than just a movement itself-user's movement now forms a important spatial structure that leads the narrative of the space. in this research, I will come up with the problems that the interactive space has right now, and analyze what the public space must have, and combine them with interactive space by HCI theory. architecture space is not the old space adapting digital technology. In order to take the role as new space paradigm. environment and technology, it has to develop technology continuously and experimental space at the same time. It must have co-evolution of architecture space field and others through organic network. by that, the evolution of space will be in the way that combines space which is responded to human emotion and user centric human friendly.

  • With digital technology, space design is developing in a new direction with the changing paradigm. The space creates an interactive environment by motivating the User's active participation through the digital madia. In this social stream, it is very important to think about how this new paradigm affects the spatial design and the interactions between social changes and spatial design paradigm, so that we can understand design paradigm of our time. Hence, in this research, we will think about social characteristic and design paradigm of digital age by questioning how spatial design is changing in the digital age and how digital technology is affecting spatial design. this study analyzed about the space form, digital media setting, user interactivity of the examples of experience space using digital media. fields of our society, interactive space with the concept of HCI became a big issue in environmental design field. In this interactive space, various types of informative factors of the given space are sent using sensor and computer networking technology to the main system, and the main computer system sends manipulated output media to interactive devices. So, a user's movement in the space is more than just a movement itself user's movement now forms a important spatial structure that leads the narrative of the space. Researcher will analyze the characteristic of a public space and progress this research supposing that space needs this interactive design.

  • The purpose of this is to investigate the relation between Graffiti techniques and the contemporary dress. Graffiti is the internal expression of human potential desires which is composed of informative signs. As Graffiti have become the cross-cultural condition under the Hiphop culture, it makes the meaningless space into the characteristic space, and proposes the identities of graffiti ‘writes’. In the contemporary dress, Graffiti look has become means of communication and playfulness. Through the external forms like icon, index, and symbol, graffiti look expresses individual, social, and political identities, and aesthetic values of satirement and playfulness. It would be define graffiti look as postmodern characteristics, as it wee, which has collapsed between the mainstream, and anti-mainstream, and it contributes to spread streetstyle to catwalk.

Feature Selection via Embedded Learning Based on Tangent Space Alignment for Microarray Data

  • Feature selection has been widely established as an efficient technique for microarray data analysis. Feature selection aims to search for the most important feature/gene subset of a given dataset according to its relevance to the current target. Unsupervised feature selection is considered to be challenging due to the lack of label information. In this paper, we propose a novel method for unsupervised feature selection, which incorporates embedded learning and $l_{2,1}-norm$ sparse regression into a framework to select genes in microarray data analysis. Local tangent space alignment is applied during embedded learning to preserve the local data structure. The $l_{2,1}-norm$ sparse regression acts as a constraint to aid in learning the gene weights correlatively, by which the proposed method optimizes for selecting the informative genes which better capture the interesting natural classes of samples. We provide an effective algorithm to solve the optimization problem in our method. Finally, to validate the efficacy of the proposed method, we evaluate the proposed method on real microarray gene expression datasets. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method obtains quite promising performance.

모의실험을 기반으로 지수형 응답률 보정을 위한 세부 층 결정에 관한 연구 (A study on the determination of substrata using the information of exponential response rate by simulation studies)

  • 정보적 표본설계 기법을 적용하여 무응답의 영향을 줄이기 위한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히 초모집단모형(super population model)에 포함된 오차의 분포가 정규분포를 따르고 응답률이 지수함수를 따를 때 지수형 응답률 정보를 모수추정에 사용함으로써 추정의 정확성이 향상되는 것으로 알려져 있다. 최근 Chung과 Shin (2017)은 정보적 표본설계의 가중치를 구하기 위해 세부 층을 등간격으로 나누는 방법을 고려하였으며 세부 층의 개수가 추정의 정확성에 영향을 주는 것을 확인하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 주어진 표본 규모에 따른 최적의 세부 층 개수와 최적의 층 경계를 구하기 위해 등간격, 분위수, LH 알고리즘을 이용하여 층을 나누는 방법을 살펴보았으며 모의실험을 통하여 각 방법의 결과를 비교하였다. 또한 다양한 형태의 보조변수 분포를 이용하여 실무에서 사용할 수 있는 세부 층 경계와 세부 층 개수를 정하는 기준을 제안하였다.

  • Both peculiar velocities and errors in the assumed redshift-distance relation ("Alcock-Paczynski effect") generate correlations between clustering amplitude and orientation with respect to the line-of-sight. In this talk we propose a novel technique to extract the Alcock-Paczynski, geometric, distortion information from the anisotropic clustering of galaxies in 3-dimensional redshift space while minimizing non-linear clustering and peculiar velocity effects. We capitalize on the recent, large dataset from the Sloan Digital Sky Survey III (SDSS-III), which provides a large comoving sample of the universe out to high redshift. We focus our analysis on the Baryon Oscillation Spectroscopic Survey (BOSS) constant mass (CMASS) sample of 549,005 bright galaxies in the redshift range 0.43

  • Proceedings in a new field of sciences and technologies like genetic engineering challenge to conventional concepts. It demonstrates a certain disappearance in conventional concepts that dominants our perceptions, such as organic, mechanical, and dichotomic concept of informative materials, and that is to be extended as a potential possibility. Then, what is a new space where our bodies that feel and cherish in their mind should live in these days as well as it makes senses by itself and should affect the principle that makes worlds? In addition, this study proposes a frame in the analysis in order to understand a section of modern designs with the question of 'what is the change in the relationship between relative structures in spaces and objects from a design point of view according to new structural concepts of body?' The major point of this analysis can be realized based on the assumption of the extension of the characteristics in the change of structural relationship in the aspect of post structuralism that includes non-structuralized relationship represented in modern philosophy, arts, and architectural works. Then, it can be accomplished as positive ideas in the foundation of space designs in future including the understand of 'new structural relationship' that can't be expressed as rationality and causal sequence by considering how the experiment conducted using several topics on body can be projected onto spaces through the process applied in the experiment.

기업홍보관의 디지털 사이니지 전시연출특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Exhibition Characteristics of the Digital Signage in Corporate Exhibition Hall)

  • The development in modern world media made information expansion and conversion much easier. These changes in media environment required a lot of companies to quickly respond to the overall environment and come up with new appropriate marketing strategies. Companies use experiential exhibition halls to enhance their images. The goal of the research is to set the basis for digital signage exhibition production characteristics as a spatial mechanism by presenting the need to use the digital signage as a tool. Digital signage expands senses and connects internal and external space. There are many types of digital signage (display, projection, special media, etc) and they are informative, aesthetic, inductive, and amusing. For research methods, Korean companies' exhibition halls sample analysis and surveys were executed to analyze the awareness, expression characteristics, effects, and usage status of digital signage. In conclusion, corporate exhibition halls should: 1. be an interesting and comfortable space that can be used as a communication tool between the company and consumers 2. increase corporate potentials and faith by expanding human senses and inducing new experiences 3. continue to capture the interest of spectators through diversity.

항공 영상 융합의 성능 향상을 위한 적응 가이디드 필터 (An Adaptive Guided Filter for Performance Improvement of Aviation Image Fusion)

  • 본 논문에서는 최적의 항공 영상 융합을 위하여 적응 가이디드 필터 기반 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안한 적응 가이디드 필터는 가이디드 필터 설계 요소 중에서 정규화 파라미터 값을 입력된 영상 특성에 따라서 조절하고 PSNR (peak signal to noise ratio)을 미리 정해둔 값으로 유지한다. 제안한 방법은 입력 영상의 특성에 관계없이 미리 정한 PSNR을 유지하는 범위 내에서 잡음을 제거하므로 최적의 영상 융합 성능의 결과를 가져올 수 있다. 필터 성능은 시뮬레이션을 통해 검증하였고, 기존에 많이 사용되고 있는 영상융합 품질 파라미터를 이용하여 분석하였다.

Fast key-frame extraction for 3D reconstruction from a handheld video

  • In order to reconstruct a 3D model in video sequences, to select key frames that are easy to estimate a geometric model is essential. This paper proposes a method to easily extract informative frames from a handheld video. The method combines selection criteria based on appropriate-baseline determination between frames, frame jumping for fast searching in the video, geometric robust information criterion (GRIC) scores for the frame-to-frame homography and fundamental matrix, and blurry-frame removal. Through experiments with videos taken in indoor space, the proposed method shows creating a more robust 3D point cloud than existing methods, even in the presence of motion blur and degenerate motions.
