A Transmission Parameter Optimization Scheme Based on Genetic Algorithm for Dynamic Spectrum Access (동적 스펙트럼 접근을 위한 유전자 알고리즘 기반 전송 매개변수 최적화 기법)

  • In this paper, we propose a transmission parameter optimization scheme based on genetic algorithm for dynamic spectrum access systems. Specifically, we represent a multiple objective fitness function as a weighted sum of single objective fitness functions to optimize transmission parameters, and then, obtain optimized transmission parameters based on genetic algorithm for given transmission scenarios. From numerical results, we confirm that the transmission parameters are well optimized by using the proposed optimization scheme.

  • Coordinated multi-point transmission (CoMP) is considered to be a promising technique to improve the throughput for LTE-Advanced systems. One important approach for CoMP is Joint Transmission (JT). However, the analytical model of JT has not been fully studied, as user equipments (UEs) receiving the desired signals from an adjacent base station (BS) as well as serving BS, or only serving BS were not distinguished. We derive a new analytical model to describe the call admission control in JT based systems. The performance measures of interest are the call blocking probability, and resource utilization. Furthermore, we compare the performance of JT-based systems and non-JT- based systems. The analytical results are in reasonable agreement with the simulation results.

  • Railway takes an important role of transporting massive passenger and freight. Accidents which occur related to trains have a risk of serious loss of lives, so those accidents need to be controlled urgently. Therefore moving picture transmission system is required which transmits exact information of moving picture of accident status to CTC and also communication line is also required with it. By using WTB line as a wayside transmission line, railway telephones, fax and train service information are provided to local offices. As transmission line improving project, optical cabling work is being processed by phases. Therefore optical fiber line is more effective way for a communicating way between stations than coaxial transmission line. This paper consider's connecting method when optical fibers is used for moving picture data transmission of train accidents and its problems.

  • This paper presents a design of a transmission line negative group delay (NGD) circuit with multiple pole characteristics. By inserting an additional transmission line into a conventional NGD circuit, the proposed circuit provides further design parameters to obtain wideband group delay (GD) and to help reduce signal attenuation. As a result, the number of gain compensating amplifiers can be reduced, which can contribute to stable operation when integrated into RF systems. The multiple pole characteristics can provide wider NGD bandwidth and can be obtained by connecting resonators with slightly different center frequencies separated by quarter-wavelength transmission lines. For experimental validation, an NGD circuit with two poles GD characteristic is designed, simulated, and measured.

  • The efficiency and safety of social-overhead capital (SOC) public infrastructures have become an eminent social concern. In this regard, a continuous structural health monitoring has been widely implemented to oversee the robustness of such public infrastructures for the safety of the public. This paper deals with the analysis of a distributed mobility management (DMM) support for wireless sensor network (WSN) based information transmission system. The partial DMM support separates the data and control plane infrastructures, wherein, the control plane is managed by a particular mobility management network entity, while the data plane is distributed by the mobility anchors. The system will be able to optimize the information transmission for a wireless structural health monitoring of SOC public infrastructures specifically designed for bridges, and thus, guarantees the safety of public commuters.

  • In the stereoscopic or multiview display, the depth video illustrates visual distances between objects and camera. To promote the computational efficiency of depth video encoder, we exploit the intra prediction of depth videos under Versatile Video Coding (VVC) and observe a diverse distribution of intra prediction modes with different coding unit sizes. We propose a hybrid scheme to further boost fast depth video coding. In the first stage, we adaptively predict the HADamard (HAD) costs of intra prediction modes and initialize a candidate list according to the HAD costs. Then, the candidate list is further improved by considering the probability distribution of candidate modes with different CU sizes. Finally, early termination of CU splitting is performed at each CU depth level based on the Bayesian theorem. Our proposed method is incorporated into VVC intra prediction for fast coding of depth videos. Experiments with 7 standard sequences and 4 Quantization parameters (Qps) validate the efficiency of our method.

  • In this paper, aim to suggest the medical information wireless transmission system to provide the mobility of medical service by means of wireless area network which makes it possible, home or at a long range, to check and oversee the state of patients, and to can out a simulation. The proposed method converts medical information to digital data in an emergency and sends them to mobile terminals such as PDAs to make possible swift first aid. The simulation took advantage of the OFDM transmission method based on IEEE 802.1la in order to send reliable medical information in mobile wireless channel environment, and analyzed the system performance by applying convolution encoding to transmit reliable information in AWGN and 3-ray mobile multipath fading channel environment.

  • One of the most pressing and demanding issues today in the conditions of widespread transformation and digitalization of spheres of human activity is information security and ensuring the integrity of data. The main research and development in the field of information security is aimed at improving efficiency and rationalization. One of the main means of data transmission and operation of information complexes are fiber-optic systems. To date, there have been incidents of illegal intrusion and theft of information, passing through this type of communication. Thus, today there is a problem associated with insufficient information security in fiber-optic data transmission systems. One of the most effective tools to counter acts of illegal interference in systems are artificial intelligence and cryptographic algorithms of information protection. It is the symbiosis of these two tools that can qualitatively improve the level of information security in fiber-optic data transmission systems. Thus, the authors of this article pursue the goal associated with the description of an innovative system for protecting information from violations in fiber-optic data transmission systems based on the integration of intelligent cryptographic algorithms.

  • Topology control increases channel efficiency by controlling transmission power of a node, and as a result, network lifetime and throughput are increased. However, reducing transmission range causes a network connectivity problem, especially in mobile networks. When a network loses connectivity, the network topology should be re-configured. However, topology re-configuration consumes lots of energy because every node need to collect neighbor information. As a result, network lifetime may decrease, even though topology control is being used to prolong the network lifetime. Therefore, network connectivity time needs to be increased to expend network lifetime in mobile networks. In this paper, we propose an Adaptive-Redundant Transmission Range (A-RTR) algorithm to address this need. A-RTR uses a redundant transmission range considering a node status and flexibly changes a node's transmission range after a topology control is performed.

  • To identify characterization of a simple extension chamber that have the two internal partition, produce the curve to estimate the transmission loss without the computer analysis. For helpful for internal optimum design, identify the characteristic of internal partition on transmission loss. Made estimated transmission loss curve by function of relationship of internal partition and transmission. Check the similarity of predicted transmission loss and analysis transmission loss. Usage of the predicted transmission loss made by relationship of internal partition and transmission loss is good information to place the internal partition so as to maximize the transmission loss on target frequency at optimal design on muffler.
