Knowledge management has been increasingly recognized as important in business management context. Although knowledge management has been proposed as an enabler to reach competitive advantage, little research has considered applying knowledge to business decision-making activities, which may be the main task of enterprise management. The application of knowledge to decision-making has a more significant impact on organizational performance than mere knowledge management for operational level processing. For this purpose, the present study proposes a decision support loop based on the integration of knowledge by adopting a cognitive modeling approach. The proposed model is then discussed, in the real context of an application case.

This paper presents an automatic text categorization model that improves the accuracy by combining statistical and knowledge-based categorization methods. In our model we apply knowledge-based method first, and then apply statistical method on the text which are not categorized by knowledge-based method. By using this combined method, we can improve the accuracy of categorization while categorize all the texts without failure. For statistical categorization, the vector model with Inverted Category Frequency (ICF) weighting is used. For knowledge-based categorization, Phrasal Patterns and Keyword Sets are introduced to represent sentence patterns, and then pattern matching is performed. Experimental results on new articles show that the accuracy of categorization can be improved by combining the tow different categorization methods.

다양한 종류의 데이터 형태를 지원하기 위한 기존의 DTD 표현의 한계로 인해 W3C 에서 Schema 표준을 제정하였다. 최근 XML 의 적용분야가 다양해짐에 따라 애플리케이션에 맞는 데이터를 표현해야 되는 필요성을 갖게 되었다 특히, e-Business 환경에서 구매요구서, 송장등과 같은 문서의 교환시 필요한 데이터에서는 좀더 세밀한 표현 형식을 요구하게 되었다. 본 논문에서는 다양한 형태의 데이터 표현이 가능한 스키마를 기반으로 XML문서를 편집할 수 있는 편집기를 설계 하였다. 또한, 스키마를 받아들여 의미(semantics)를 파악하고 처리할 수 있는 모델을 제시하였다.

우리는 우리가 방문하는 박물관에 대한 배경지식이 없으면 박물관에서 제공하는 오디오 가이드를 이용한다. 그러나 기존의 오디오 가이드는 크게 두 가지 문제점이 있다. 첫째, 기존의 오디오 가이드는 단순히 성우가 텍스트 컨텐츠를 읽은 것에 지나지 않기 때문에 지루하다. 지루하기 때문에 사용자들은 자연스레 오디오 가이드에 집중하지 못한다. 둘째, 기존의 오디오 가이드에는 포인트가 없다. 오디오 가이드에서 성우들의 목소리에 톤이나 어조가 일정하기 때문에 사람들은 오디오 가이드를 들을 때 중요한 부분에 대해 알지 못한다. 이러한 문제점들을 해결하기 위해서 우리는 기존의 오디오 가이드 컨텐츠의 키워드에 단어와 관계있는 음향효과를 추가해서 새로운 오디오 가이드를 만들었다. 새로운 오디오 가이드는 기존의 오디오 가이드의 문제점인 지루함과 중요 포인트가 없음을 해결해서 사용자의 흥미도와 집중력을 높여주었다. 우리의 실험이 성공적이었기 때문에 향후 우리의 이론은 좀 더 일반적인 컨텐츠들로 확장 될 수 있을 것이다.

This research examined the mediation effects of knowledge absorptive capacity (KAC) and knowledge management capability (KMC), between information communication technology (ICT) implementation and firm performance. In the past, studies investigated KAC and KMC separately. While studies of KAC focus on the flow of information, those of KMC focus on knowledge creation triggered by innovative information. However, KAC and KMC are not mutually exclusive and as such we investigated them together in this research. We surveyed 126 companies and analyzed hypotheses with LISREL analysis. This research provided empirical support for the Nonaka's contention that the information processing has a positive effect on knowledge creation. We also found that there is a mediation effect between ICT implementation and firm performance. Not only is there a direct effect of ICT implementation on firm performance, but there is an indirect effect through KAC and KMC. KAC has a positive effect on both KMC and firm performance. However, it has been discovered that while KMC has mediation effect, it is not significant as an independent factor for firm performance.

In context awareness and user intention tasks, dataset construction is expensive because specific domain data are required. Although pretraining with a large corpus can effectively resolve the issue of lack of data, it ignores domain knowledge. Herein, we concentrate on data domain knowledge while addressing data scarcity and accordingly propose a multi-channel long short-term memory (LSTM). Because multi-channel LSTM integrates pretrained vectors such as task and general knowledge, it effectively prevents catastrophic forgetting between vectors of task and general knowledge to represent the context as a set of features. To evaluate the proposed model with reference to the baseline model, which is a single-channel LSTM, we performed two tasks: voice phishing with context awareness and movie review sentiment classification. The results verified that multi-channel LSTM outperforms single-channel LSTM in both tasks. We further experimented on different multi-channel LSTMs depending on the domain and data size of general knowledge in the model and confirmed that the effect of multi-channel LSTM integrating the two types of knowledge from downstream task data and raw data to overcome the lack of data.

The proposal of this paper is the constructing of knowledge database with manufacturing information. This database contains characteristics of workpiece materials, cutting tools, NC machines, manufacturing processes, and work conditions. And all shape in the system are feature models such base plate, step, hole, pocket, boss, and slot. These information generate a final decision for machining process by the expert system.

Google, NAVER와 같은 대형포털에서 지도 기반의 다양한 서비스를 제공함에 따라, 지역관련 정보를 얻으려는 사용자들의 관심과 요구 또한 증가하고 있다. 하지만, 대형포털의 서비스들은 특정 지역에 대한 상세정보가 충분하지 않고 관련 정보를 획득하는 과정이 반복되는 번거로움이 존재하기 때문에, 사용자가 특정 지역의 관련 정보를 자세하고 종합적이며 손쉽게 획득할 수 있도록 지원하는 시스템이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 사용자의 지역정보 획득에 유용한 시스템의 구축을 위해, 맵 인터페이스와 지식처리를 활용한 시스템 모델을 제안한다. 제안한 모델은 '지역정보 웹 문서 Layer', '고유지역키워드 Layer', '맵 인터페이스 Layer'의 3-Layer로 구성된다. 이 모델을 기반으로 한 지역관련정보 통합검색 시스템은 (l) 특정 지역의 대표 키워드 추출 (2) 관련 웹 페이지 수집 (3) 연관 키워드 집합 추출 및 키워드간의 연관도 계산 (4) 사용자 인터페이스 구축의 4단계 과정을 거쳐 구현한다. 구체적으로 고양시 지역을 대상으로 한 시스템의 구축을 통해 제안한 모델과 유사도 행렬을 이용한 지역정보의 지식처리 알고리즘, 사용자의 검색 편의를 돕는 UI 등의 타당성을 검증하였다. 본 시스템은 단순히 개별 '정보'로 존재하는 지역정보들을 융합하고, 새로운 '지식'을 생산 및 체계화하여 사용자들에게 제공해준다. 이를 통해 사용자는 다양하고 상세한 지역정보를 제공받을 수 있고 관련 정보도 쉽게 얻을 수 있다.

This paper describes a meshless of element-free method based on fuzzy knowledge processing. To efficiently simulate complicated physical phenomena with dynmics and non-linear ploblem using computational mechanics, special method is required such as parallel processing or adaptive analysis techniques. However, the conventional finite element method is too complicated to be employed in the above cases. In order to reduce the above complexity of the conventional finite element analysis systms, the so called meshles finite elements as an input information have been stuided. Node is generated if its distance form existing node points is similar to the node spacing fuction at the point. The node spacing function is well controlled by the fuzzy knowledge processing Practical performances of the present system are demonstrated through several three-dimensional(3D) problems.
