Understanding the Employee's Intention to Use Information System: Technology Acceptance Model and Information System Success Model Approach

  • This study aims to understand the determinant of the employee's intention to use information system within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Information System Success Model (ISSM). This paper also aims to examine the influence of ISSM dimension on the perceived usefulness and the perceived ease of use. The research respondents were 248 employees of Universitas Negeri Semarang (UNNES) who are users of the Financial Information System (SIKEU). Data was obtained using a questionnaire that was distributed online via Google form. The data analysis method used is Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis using the Warp-PLS software. The results showed that the dimensions of TAM (perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness) had a positive and significant influence on the employee's intention to use SIKEU. The ISSM dimension (system quality and information quality) also had a significant influence, although other ISSM dimensions (service quality) had not been proven to have a significant influence on the employee's intention to use SIKEU. Moreover, the results showed that the employee's intention to use is a determinant of SIKEU's actual usage. Perceived ease of use was significantly determined by system quality, information quality, and service quality. In addition, the perceived usefulness was significantly determined by system quality and information quality.

  • 텔레매틱스(Telematics)의 정의는 기술통신(Telecommunication)과 정보공학(Informatics)의 합성어로 GPS(Global Positioning System)와 무선통신을 이용하여 차량 내에서 무선 데이터 서비스인 교통정보, 생활정보, 차량원격제어, 차량관리 등 다양한 서비스를 제공하는 것을 말한다. 신기술 수용관점에서 텔레매틱스 수용에 관한 이론을 문헌연구를 통하여 고찰하였고, 이를 바탕으로 이론적 배경으로서 기술수용모델을 설정하게 되었으며, 또한 텔레매틱스 서비스 및 시장의 특성을 파악하게 되었다. 선행연구를 통하여 수용의도에 영향을 미치는 사용자측면의 용이성, 유용성 그리고 서비스 특성에 대한 타당한 변수를 파악하였고, 선행연구의 특정 항목을 참고 및 수정하여 본 연구의 측정변수로 사용하였다.

Determinants of IT Usage : Test of the Revised TAM

  • This study is design ed to assess Information Technology (IT) acceptance models among Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the revised TAM using structural equation modeling. Research results show that the revised TAM with perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness and IT usage variables is slightly outperformed TPB and TAM. From a managerial standpoint, the findings of this study reveal that in order to foster IT usage, it is important to encourage a positive perceived ease of use and usefulness.

  • Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been widely used for predicting behavioral processes in which information technologies were accepted, but several previous studies point out that TAM may not explain the adoption process of complex information technologies effectively. This study empirically tests the limitation of TAM, and suggests a proposed research model by incorporating the concept of the perceived behavioral control into TAM. Study findings indicate the proposed model can predict the adoption process better than TAM does.

A Study of the Effects on Applying Test Design to Information Communication Authority Module

  • Information communication authority module software contains various functions and services. A software test is the only acceptance test step. Recently, however, all development steps have become important. In particular, the software acceptance step is very high, and a study of the effective use of limited time and resources on acceptance step is needed. This study examined the efficiency of the Test Design Technique for Software Test. The proposed Test Design process was applied to the domain systems of info-communication and the degree of improvement was measured. This paper establishes Software Test design process Infrastructure based on the developed software.

인공지능의 사회적 수용도에 따른 키워드 검색량 기반 주가예측모형 비교연구 (Comparison of Models for Stock Price Prediction Based on Keyword Search Volume According to the Social Acceptance of Artificial Intelligence)

  • 최근 주식의 수익률과 거래량을 설명하는 주요 요인으로서 투자자의 관심도와 주식 관련 정보 전파의 영향력이 부각되고 있다. 또한 인공지능과 같은 혁신 신기술을 개발보급하거나 활용하려는 기업의 경우 거시환경 및 시장 불확실성 때문에 기업의 미래 주식 수익률과 주식 변동성을 예측하기 어렵다는 문제를 가지고 있다. 이는 인공지능 활성화의 장애요인으로 인식되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 인공지능 관련 기술 키워드의 인터넷 검색량을 투자자의 관심 척도로 사용하여, 기업의 주가 변동성을 예측하는 기계학습 모형을 제안하는 것이다. 이를 위해 심층신경망 LSTM(Long Short-Term Memory)과 벡터자기회귀(Vector Autoregression)를 통해 주식시장을 예측하고, 기술의 사회적 수용 단계에 따라 키워드 검색량을 활용한 주가예측 성능 비교를 통해 기업의 투자수익 예측이나 투자자들의 투자전략 의사결정을 지원하는 주가 예측 모형을 구축하였다. 또한 인공지능 기술의 세부 하위 기술에 대한 분석도 실시하여 기술 수용 단계에 따른 세부 기술 키워드 검색량의 변화를 살펴보고 세부기술에 대한 관심도가 주식시장 예측에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 인공지능, 딥러닝, 머신러닝 키워드를 선정하여, 2015년 1월 1일부터 2019년 12월 31일까지 5년간의 인터넷 주별 검색량 데이터와 코스닥 상장 기업의 주가 및 거래량 데이터를 수집하여 분석에 활용하였다. 분석 결과 인공지능 기술에 대한 키워드 검색량은 사회적 수용 단계가 진행될수록 증가하는 것으로 나타났고, 기술 키워드를 기반으로 주가예측을 하였을 경우 인식(Awareness)단계에서 가장 높은 정확도를 보였으며, 키워드별로 가장 좋은 예측 성능을 보이는 수용 단계가 다르게 나타남을 확인하였다. 따라서 기술 키워드를 활용한 주가 예측 모델 구축을 위해서는 해당 기술의 하위 기술 분류를 고려할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 결과는 혁신기술을 기반으로 기업의 투자수익률을 예측하기 위해서는 기술에 대한 대중의 관심이 급증하는 인식 단계를 포착하는 것이 중요하다는 점을 시사한다. 또한 최근 금융권에서 선보이고 있는 빅데이터 기반 로보어드바이저(Robo-advisor) 등 투자 의사 결정 지원 시스템 개발 시 기술의 사회적 수용도를 세분화하여 키워드 검색량 변화를 통해 예측 모델의 정확도를 개선할 수 있다는 점을 시사하고 있다.

기술확산 통합모델을 통한 개방형 기관 리포지터리 수용의 영향요인 분석 (Influencing Factors for the Acceptance of Open Access Institutional Repository Using the Integrated Technology Diffusion Model)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라의 개방형 기관 리포지터리 확산을 위해 리포지터리 수용의 영향요인을 분석하고자 한 것이다. 데이터 수집을 위해 개방형 기관 리포지터리 수용기관과 비수용기관을 대상으로 질문조사를 진행하였고 질문지는 수정된 기술확산 통합모델을 적용하여 구성하였다. 기술확산 통합모델은 혁신이나 기술이 특정 요인이나 계기를 통해서 사회전반에 확산되는 일련의 과정을 설명하는 이론이다. 분석결과, 개방형 기관 리포지터리 수용을 결정하는 주요한 영향요인에는 사회적 특성이 가장 많은 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났고 다음으로 기관의 특성, 혁신저항특성, 시스템 특성의 순으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 우리나라 리포지터리 확산과 활성화를 위한 정책 수립의 기초적인 자료를 제공할 것이다.

스마트팩토리 기술수용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (Factors Affecting Technology Acceptance of Smart Factory)

  • Smart Factory is the decisive factor of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and is a key field for national competitiveness. Until now, most smart factory research has focused on policy and technology. In order to spread more technology, it is necessary to study what factors influence the adoption of smart factory technology in the enterprise. Nevertheless, little research has been done. In this study, based on the UTAUT (Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology), which has been proved through many years of research, I have studied the factors that influence the acceptance of smart factory technology. As a result of research, performance expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions of UTAUT model had a positive(+) effect on behavior intention. Their relationship of influence was in the order of performance expectancy (β = .459)> facilitating conditions (β = .212)> social influence (β = .210). However, it was found that the effort expectancy did not affect the behavior intention, and the impact of the newly perceived risk on the behavior intention to use was not confirmed. The main reason is that the acceptance of smart factory technology is not a matter of personal interest but a matter of organizational choice. Trust, on the other hand, was found to be partially mediated between performance expectancy, facilitating conditions, social influence and behavior intention. For many years, many researchers have validated the UTAUT, which has been validated through various empirical studies. It is academically meaningful to begin the study of factors affecting the acceptance of smart factory technology in terms of the UTAUT. In practice, it is necessary to provide SME employees with more information related to the introduction of smart factories, to provide advanced services related to the establishment of smart factories, and to establish a standardized model for each industry.

소비자의 정보기술 혁신제품 수용 단계화 연구 - 스마트폰의 제품과 애플리케이션을 중심으로 - (A Study on Consumer's Acceptance Phase of Innovative IT Product - Focusing on Product and Application of Smartphone -)

  • This paper is to analyze consumer's acceptance phase of innovative IT product on the ground of dividing into product and application phase. In the acceptance phase of product determinants to consumer's satisfaction were analyzed and TAM(Technology Acceptance Model) were applied to the acceptance phase of application. It is analyzed that how well expected usefulness and perceived satisfaction to product have positively influence its performance and perceived satisfaction respectively in the acceptance phase of the product. In the acceptance phase of application, factors to consumers' satisfaction were analyzed to investigate its influence to the usefulness of application. Usefulness expectancy to the application and product were analyzed to figure out consumers'intention to use the product and effort and cost going into application use were also analyzed. Empirical study was implemented aimed at smart phone users. As a result, perceived usefulness expectancy to product have positively influence on perceived product performance and perceived product performance also affects perceived product satisfaction significantly. Although product satisfaction doesn't affect usefulness expectancy to the application, usefulness expectancy to the product and perceived product performance have positively influence on usefulness expectancy to the application significantly. And also usefulness expectancy to the both of application and product have positively influence on consumer's intention to use the product but consumer's effort and cost going into application doesn't affect to it, it's hold forth the possibility that consumer's effort affect consumer's intention to use the product.

Consumer Acceptance of E-Commerce in Korea and China;The Effects of National Culture

  • With e-commerce becoming international, understanding the effects of national culture in consumer acceptance of e-commerce is required. This study examines consumer e-commerce acceptance in Korea and China. The research model consisting of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, trust and perceived risk was proposed, and the hypotheses based on Hofstede's cultural dimensions of power distance, individualism/collectivism, masculinity/femininity, uncertainty avoidance and long-term orientation, were established. The results show that perceived usefulness contributes less to consumer acceptance of e-commerce in China than it does in Korea. In addition, perceived ease of use contributes more to consumer acceptance of e-commerce in China. Trust contributes significantly to consumer acceptance of e-commerce in both countries, but perceived risk didn't influence consumer acceptance of e-commerce in either country. The contribution of this study is to provide strategic insights for successfully managing cross-cultural e-commerce.
