  • FinTech service industry has been growing rapidly around the world. It has driven innovation in financial and payment service industry with different channels such as mobile based on Information and Communications Technology (ICT). However, FinTech service is vulnerable to different security threats due to use the valuable data such as personal information and financial information. It is undeniable that collection and use of those information may increase the possibility of identity theft or privacy breach. In this paper will develop a self-checklist for the Simple Payment service users (Privacy Pragmatists) who want to make a rational decision to protect their personal information. The checklist is going to let the users assess the personal information protection by performing the assessment themself when they use the service. The body of this paper is going to analyze the items of the checklist and through the analysis, will suggest a security policy for personal information protection of FinTech service.

  • Digital therapeutics (DTx) are utilized to replace or supplement drug therapy to treat patients. DTx are developed as a mobile application for portability and convenience. The government requires security verification to be performed on digital medical devices that manage sensitive information during the transmission and storage of patient data. Although safety verification is included in the approval process for DTx, the cybersecurity checklist used as a reference does not reflect the characteristics of mobile applications. This poses the risk of potentially overlooking vulnerabilities during security verification. This study aims to address this issue by comparing and analyzing existing items based on the mobile tactics, techniques, and procedures of MITRE ATT&CK, which manages globally known and occurring vulnerabilities through regular updates. We identify 16 items that require improvement and expand the checklist to 29 items to propose improvement measures. The findings of this study may contribute to the safe development and advancement of DTx for managing sensitive patient information.

  • Compared to the past infrastructure networks, the current smart grid network can improve productivity and management efficiency. However, as the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) and Internet-based standard communication protocol is used, external network contacts are created, which is accompanied by security vulnerabilities from various perspectives. Accordingly, it is necessary to develop an appropriate cybersecurity guideline that enables effective reactions to cybersecurity threats caused by the abuse of such defects. Unfortunately, it is not easy for each organization to develop an adequate cybersecurity guideline. Thus, the cybersecurity checklist proposed by a government organization is used. The checklist does not fully reflect the characteristics of each infrastructure network. In this study, we proposed a cybersecurity framework that reflects the characteristics of a microgrid network in the IIoT environment, and performed an analysis to validate the proposed framework.

  • As the emerged importance and awareness for information security, It is being implemented by each industrial sector to protect information assets. In this paper, we analyze the information security checklists or security ratings criteria to derive similarity and difference in context which used to knowledge network analysis method. The analyzed results of all checklists (ISMS, PIMS, 'FSS', 'FISS', 'G') are as follows : First, It is common factors that the protection of information systems and information assets, incident response, operations management. Second, It deals with relatively important factors that IT management, the adequacy of audit activities in the financial IT sector including common factors. Third, the criteria of ISMS contains the majority of the contents among PIMS, 'FSS', 'FISS'and 'G'.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a framework for evaluating security levels in hospitals. We classify security indicators into administrative, technical and physical safeguards. The security evaluation model for hospital information systems was applied to three general hospitals. The analysis of the results showed a low security level in information systems. In particular, requirements for administrative and physical safeguards were very low. Hospitals need strict security policies more than other organizations because their information systems contain patients' highly confidential data. The evaluation model developed in this study can be used for guidelines and as a checklist for hospitals. The security evaluation in hospital informational systems needs to be an essential element of hospital evaluation.

  • Due to the rapid development of the Internet, many companies in a variety of applications to users open an unspecified number of the current business environment, security of personal information about recent issues are often mentioned in terms of its importance may be the company's top priority. The government recently on personal information strengthening measures on information communications network law enacted into law which is applicable to various industries. Companies to protect the personal information of various measures to comply with these regulations, and arrange your personal information for internal management to enhance security fast security solution has been introduced. The number of used data is stored in the DBMS in terms of compliance with these regulations at the same time effectively to ensure data security and encryption measures, access control, audit, each separated by an implementation of the solution and how it compares with the best Database security plan allows you to explore as a this paper's security checklist.

  • Recently, Interests on The Fourth Industrial Revolution has been increased. In the manufacturing sector, the introduction of Smart Factory, which automates and intelligent all stages of manufacturing based on Cyber Physical System (CPS) technology, is spreading. The complexity and uncertainty of smart factories are likely to cause unexpected problems, which can lead to manufacturing process interruptions, malfunctions, and leakage of important information to the enterprise. It is emphasized that there is a need to perform systematic management by analyzing the threats to the Smart Factory. Therefore, this paper systematically identifies the threats using the STRIDE threat modeling technique using the data flow diagram of the overall production process procedure of Smart Factory. Then, using the Attack Tree, we analyze the risks and ultimately derive a checklist. The checklist provides quantitative data that can be used for future safety verification and security guideline production of Smart Factory.

  • As the demand for Internet of Things(IoT) increases, the need for the security of IoT devices is increasing steadily. It is difficult to apply the conventional security theory to IoT devices because IoT devices are subject to be constrained by some factors such as hardware, processor, and energy. Nowadays we have several security guidelines and related documents on IoT device. Most of them, however, do not consider the characteristics of specific IoT devices. Since they describes the security issues comprehensively, it is not easy to explain the specific security level reflecting each characteristics of IoT devices. In addition, most existing guidelines and related documents are described in view of developers and service proposers, and thus ordinary users are not able to assess whether a specific IoT device can protect their information securely or not. We propose an security evaluation model, based on the existing guidelines and related documents, for more specific IoT devices and prove that this approach is more convenient to ordinary users by creating checklists for the smart watch.

  • In the discipline of design science, the integration of cognitive, semantic, and affective elements is crucial in the conception and development of a product. Affective components in IT artefacts have attracted researchers' attention, but little attention has been given to Geographic Information Systems (GIS). This research was conducted to identify emotions in web-based GIS, and determine design influences on the emotions using Kansei engineering (KE). In the evaluation procedure, ten web-based GIS were used as specimens, and 20 Kansei words were used as emotional descriptors in the Kansei checklist. 50 participants were asked to rate their emotional responses towards the specimens on the Kansei checklist. Principal Component Analysis was used to discover the semantic structure of Kansei, in which dynamism and spaciousness were identified. Significant Kansei concepts were identified using Factor Analysis, in which dynamic & well-organized, refreshing, spacious, professional, and nautical-look were identified. Partial Least Square analysis has assisted the research in discovering the significant design influence to the Kansei. These findings provide designers and other stakeholders with valuable knowledge for strategizing future web-based GIS designs that incorporate user emotions.

  • The cyber attacks targeting the systems of national and public organizations in the front line of cyber security have been advanced, and the number of cyber attacks has been on the constant rise. In this circumstance, it is necessary to develop the security evaluation technology to prevent cyber attacks to the systems of national and public organizations. Most of the studies of the vulnerability analysis on the information systems of national and public organizations almost focus on automation. In actual security inspection, it is hard to automate some parts. In terms of security policies for threats, many different plans have been designed and applied in the managerial, physical, and technical fields, giving particular answers no matter how they are subjective or situational. These tendencies can be standardized in OCIL(Open Checklist Interactive Language), and partial automation can be achieved. Therefore, this study tries to implement XML Converter in order for OCIL based security level evaluation with typical evaluation questions.
