An interface or integration among various information system is needed to construct knowledge management infrastructure. Particularly, digital library and knowledge management system have to be implemented in the view of integration for activating interaction of organizational knowledge. So this study conducts comparative analysis between two systems in the perspective of knowledge management key factors, and then explores the ways toward an integration model. The integration model is designed for activating user interface and consistent flow of knowledge. This model is expected to contribute to increase the performance of knowledge management.

This plan is referred about linking the department of data processing at Pusan commercial high school with the faculty of management information at Kyungnam Junior College of Information & Technology. The problems like exceeding estimated cost, late due-date, expensive maintenance, insuffiency of experts and low productivity are becoming emphasized related with the software development. In order to overcome these problems and to develop the highly qualified software within the limited resources, a project management tool is used. The purpose of this study is to develop a conceptual model of the project management system which can plan, analyze and control the software development projects effectively. The model is constructed with plan and track management system, cost management system and operation management system for the efficient project management. It is named by LSD-PMS : Large-scale Software Development Project Management System. We reviewed 5 cases of project management. LSD-PMS is evaluated and reviewed by the project managers in the field. It is proved that LSD-PMS is a tool which can help project managers develop software successfully given budget and time schedule. In the future, this system should be further developed as an integrated model with system implementation tools such as CASE products.

An integrated water environment management system is necessary in improving water quality, properly allocating water resources, and supporting socio-economic development. Specifically, water quality management system using web map can be an efficient approach to accomplish this system. This paper aims to construct a dynamic water quality management system to reflect a water environment management system which includes three sub-models with consideration of their interrelationships (a socio-economic model based on dynamic Input-Output model, a water resources cycle model, and a water pollutants flow model). Based on simulation, the model can precisely estimate trends of water utilization, water quality, and economic development under certain management targets, and propose an optimal plan. This study utilized the model to analyze the potential of using reclaimed water to accomplish local water environment management and sustainable development plan while exploring the applicable approaches. This study indicates that the constructed water environment management system can be effective and easily adopted to assess water resources and environment while improving the trade-off between economic and environment development, as well as formulate regional development plan.

Due to the temporary characteristics of construction industry, the various information have only been used just one time and not recycled. There are few studies for the use and management of construction information. Compared with other stages in project life-cycle, the construction stage includes the most important and various information from field. It will be desirable that one should study for developing the use of construction information. With this thesis, this study suggests the conceptual classification model for construction information management.

To establish an effective security strategy, business enterprises need a security benchmarking tool. The strategy helps to lessen an impact and a damage in any threat. This study analyses many aspects of information security management and suggests a way to deal with security investments by considering important factors that affect security manager's decision. To address the different threats resulting from a major cause of accidents inside an enterprise, we investigate an approach that followed ISO17799. We unfold a criminology theory that has designated many measures against the threat as suggested by General Deterrence Theory. The study proposes a coherent model of the theory to improve the security measures especially in handling and protecting company assets and human lives as well.

This study suggests a safety management model for construction management (CM) suitable to domestic conditions so that inefficiency resulted from the operation of construction projects by public and private indtitutes according to different systems can be eliminated for the securing of systematic and efficient safety managment. Based on the suggested safety management model, this study also develops a safety management information system that can efficiently and consistently manage and maintain a large quantity of information, and give necessary supports in a speedy way in the managing of construction projects.

Reliability management requires many activities such as conceptual design, detail design, reliability evaluation and analysis, life testing, and environmental screening, etc.. To perform these activities effectively, a lot of information are required : information for failure mechanism, failure modes, part characteristics, and environmental conditions, etc.. These information should be managed to be used effectively and accurately in reliability activities and feedback to product design and manufacturing. This study identified and characterized these information and classified them according to the reliability activities commonly adopted in many manufacturing industries. IDEF1 was used to define and characterize the flow and the relationship of these reliability information and model is proposed which represents the structure of reliability information systems. The proposed model can be used as a basis for developing reliability management softwares.

In this paper, the impact of information sharing, possibly with some delay, on costs in a simple supply chain in which there are two participants, a single retailer and a single manufacturer, is considered. When participants in the supply chain do not use fully integrated EDI, some delay associated with information sharing is inevitable. A mathematical model that allows us to quantify the cost incurred by the manufacturer in the supply chain under information sharing, possibly with some delay, vs. no information sharing is presented. From this model, some managerial implications are gleaned.
