The purpose of this paper is to plan deployment strategy of public key infrastructure for Malawi by considering the information and communication technology status on it. For this, we will review the information communication technology status on developing and least developed countries focused on Malawi and plan deployment strategy of mobile based public key infrastructure. First of all, we extract out security considerations for public key infrastructure, which is efficient for wireless communication, and design a new lightweight public key infrastructure apt to mobile device by considering Malawi's information communication technology status. Especially, the proposed mobile based public key infrastructure uses smartcards for all the processes of certificate. It could guarantee the same security as the wired counter part based on lightweight mobile device.
Medical information system based on ad hoc network designed for general information systems and information networks have different security requirements. Malicious code infiltration and security features are performed on same medical information network architecture along the route. Security domain of medical information systems is the ground of penetration and defense performed over the network architecture and it is also the traffic handling areas separated by a concept of differentiated group. Ad hoc-based medical information systems in the network security domain, set some standards about what should be the methodology of this study. In this paper, medical information system network configuration, the determining factor based on the security domain, the structure selection criteria and blocking positionings are presented according to the traffic route configuration. If you apply this methodology designed to increase security, efficiency can be possible. Health information systems in accordance with the security domain areas requires differentiated protection needs of the security mechanism that is proposed by this study.

Interest in self-driving vehicle research has been rapidly increasing, and related research has been continuously conducted. In such a fast-paced self-driving vehicle research area, the development of advanced technology for better convenience safety, and efficiency in road and transportation systems is expected. Here, we investigate research in self-driving vehicles and analyze the main technologies of driverless car software, including: technical aspects of autonomous vehicles, traffic infrastructure and its communications, research techniques with vision recognition, deep leaning algorithms, localization methods, existing problems, and future development directions. First, we introduce intelligent self-driving car and road infrastructure algorithms such as machine learning, image processing methods, and localizations. Second, we examine the intelligent technologies used in self-driving car projects, autonomous vehicles equipped with multiple sensors, and interactions with transport infrastructure. Finally, we highlight the future direction and challenges of self-driving vehicle transportation systems.

As the major information communication infrastructure had been getting more important, 'Act on the Protection of Information and Communications Infrastructure'(APICI) was legislated in Korea 2001. Consequently, the major information system, nationwide monitering service systems and government administration operation & management systems have been registered and managed under the APICI. The authorized organizations related to above service and system, perform vulnerability analysis and evaluation for chief communication infrastructures by themselves or registered agencies. In this research, we propose an advanced model for vulnerability analysis and evaluation and apply it to the main information and communication infrastructures through the case study. We hope each related organization could apply this model for analysis and evaluation of vulnerability in these infrastructures.
In order to establish an autonomous driving environment, it is necessary to study traffic safety and demand prediction by analyzing information generated from the transportation infrastructure beyond relying on sensors by the vehicle itself. In this paper, we propose a real-time traffic information generation method using sensor convergence technology of transportation infrastructure. The proposed method uses sensors such as cameras and radars installed in the transportation infrastructure to generate information such as crosswalk pedestrian presence or absence, crosswalk pause judgment, distance to stop line, queue, head distance, and car distance according to each characteristic. create information An experiment was conducted by comparing the proposed method with the drone measurement result by establishing a demonstration environment. As a result of the experiment, it was confirmed that it was possible to recognize pedestrians at crosswalks and the judgment of a pause in front of a crosswalk, and most data such as distance to the stop line and queues showed more than 95% accuracy, so it was judged to be usable.
Recently regarding the ownership and proper operational forms of paperless trade infrastructure has become an issue. In this research the structural separation approach, different from the behavioral regulation approach, has been adopted. Following the structural separation, the core e-trade infrastructure which is separated from a vertically integrated provider, can be operated by three different forms such as a private sector; a public sector; finally a consortium among participants. As another option, the separated whole infrastructure including both core and non-core can be operated by a independent private entity. However, this option is not interesting case to us. As the last option, it can be considered that a new wholesale independent company for the separated core-infra can be set up for running. Additionally, three other alternative ways such as accounting separation, division separation, or corporation separation with keeping same ownership are also demonstrated. However the cautious investigation on cost and benefits of vertical separation are strongly recommended by OECD and agrees with the conclusion of this study.

Recently, the public interest for infrastructure safety has been growing, but the process of data acquisition and management system for safety is being carried out in an inefficient manner. The data obtained during the inspection for the safety of infrastructure tends to be documented using papers, which is not efficient in the stage of post analyses. The information technology (IT), which is rapidly being developed, is applied to the new system as a solution. Information technology provides valuable tools for converting and generating digital data, handling the history of defects, and assessing the condition and estimating the service life of infrastructure. The purpose of this paper is to introduce Infrastructure Management System(IMS). It is expected that the IMS would minimize the manpower, time and maintenance cost, and improve the safety of infrastructure.

Due to the depletion of fossil fuels and the increase in environmental pollution, electric vehicles are attracting attention as next-generation transportation and are becoming popular all over the world. As the interest in electric vehicles and the penetration rate increase, studies on the charging infrastructure with vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and information technology are actively under way. In particular, communication with the grid network is the most important factor for stable charging and load management of electric vehicles. However, with the existing centralized infrastructure, there are problems when control-message requests increase and the charging infrastructure cannot efficiently operate due to slow response speed. In this paper, we propose a new charging infrastructure using mobile edge computing (MEC) that mitigates congestion and provides low latency by applying distributed cloud computing technology to wireless base stations. Through a performance evaluation, we confirm that the proposed charging infrastructure (with low latency) can cope with peak conditions more efficiently than the existing charging infrastructure.

The purpose of this thesis is to research and propose a practical Information Security Technical Architecture on Primary Defense Information Infrastructure with regard to requirement of information security. The scope of this research is limited to national defense information master plan & security rule, and U.S. DoD's IATF is used to plan a detailed structure. The result of this research can be used as a guide book for providing security for Army IT infrastructure now and in the future as well as to devise a plan for research and development in information protection technology.
