수리시설물의 실시간 정보관리를 위한 RFID 및 QR 코드 기반의 모바일 기술 운용성 평가 (Assessment of Mobile Technology Operability Based on RFID and QR Code for Real Time Information Management of Irrigation Facilities)

  • This study aims to assess the mobile information technology as an alternative means for managing information of irrigation facilities. Traditional irrigation facility management which is operated manually has faced to critical limitations, such as delayed and loss in data handling and facilities misidentification. Real time download, collection, and update the information about the irrigation structure conditions in terms of operation and maintenance can provide a better support of the management efforts. Thus this study suggested mobile information technology using RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) and QR (Quick Response) code for real time information management of irrigation facilities. This paper describes the applications and implementation results of real-time mobile technology for the field information communication of the irrigation facilities. The system was tested in I-dong irrigation districts in Gyounggi-province, Korea and the assessment of operability demonstrated beneficial usability for inspection of agricultural irrigation facilities in the irrigation district. The tests showed that RFID was preferred method expected to improve operability although these had some limitation. The mobile technologies are expected to increase efficiency and effectiveness of irrigation facilities management.

시각장애인의 실내안내시설 설치 이용만족도에 관한 연구 (A Study on User Satisfaction of Information Facilities for the Visually Impaired)

  • Purpose: The ratio of the visually impaired is gradually increasing due to various causes such as natural aging, accidents, and environmental changes. Therefore, this study has two folds. Firstly, it aims to analyze the current satisfaction level with information facilities for the visually impaired. Secondly, it aims to examine the factors affecting the satisfaction with indoor information facilities. Through this study, it helps to identify problems of information facilities for the visually impaired and it works as a practical data for further improvements. Methods: For 50 visually impaired people, a telephone survey was conducted on the satisfaction with the braille blocks, braille signboards, braille information boards with tactile map, audio guide devices, and safety egress devices. Microsoft Excel and SPSS 26.0 were used for the analysis. Results: It was confirmed that the overall satisfaction with the indoor information facilities was very low. The more the visually impaired people recognized the installation standards, and the better the maintenance was, the higher the satisfaction. In the case of braille blocks and braille signboards, the effect of information transfer on satisfaction was relatively high. In the case of audio guide device and safety egress device, the standard suitability influenced satisfaction. Implications: The low level of satisfaction with the overall information facilities can impede visually impaired people from receiving practical help through the information facilities. Factors influencing the satisfaction level of each facility were identified, which makes it possible to prepare effective improvement measures.

  • While the environment of usage of information and technology is getting stable and technology is being developed more deeply due to the globalization, making information, standardization, in order to make a fast response to the new industry strategy and business environment, mutual communication and management of correct and fast information are focused on as fundamental elements of keeping competitive power. Accordingly strategic development of urban transit operation organization, storage of information technology of urban railroad, and buildup of standard information infra are very important, so that computerized information system has been built up standardizing efficient maintenance framework of urban transit facilities. To maintain these facilities efficiently, storing the real-time information by standardizing the maintenance organization and building up computerized information system are very important with management of information history of existing maintenance work. Therefore, for the efficient maintenance of civil facilities among urban transit facilities, standardized facilities classification and definition of management elements, and the plan of designing and building standardized database about civil facilities through standardizing technology resources are described in this paper.

  • 학교 시설이 가장 중요한 공공시설 중 하나라는 사실에도 불구하고 학교시설에 대한 정보가 체계적으로 관리되지 않고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 학교시설 정책의 가장 기본적인 요소인 학교시설 현황에 대한 객관적인 데이터를 체계적으로 확보하기 위한 시스템 구축방향에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. 본 연구에서는 학교 시설 정보 관리 절차 및 학교시설의 정보 자료 관리 수준을 향상시킬 수있는 시스템 구축방향을 제안하였으며, 실무적인 활용이 가능한 서비스 제공을 위한 시스템 구축 설계방향을 제시하였다.

  • Distribution facilities are installed dispersedly nationwide and in view of huge amounts. it makes it difficult to manage and update distribution facilities information manually. Consequently, much efforts have been exerted on computerization of distribution facilities information. KEPCO has been building distribution facilities information system using GIS technology(DGIS) to manage distribution facilities. In order to implement DGIS, digitizing the existing cartographical and land registration map is essential. In this regard, the Government is pursuing the NGIS project. In parrallel with it, DGIS project will be accelerated in the future. This paper suggests the efficient development plans to computerize distribution facilities using GIS technology.

  • According to Korea Standard Association (KSA-0013) storage facilities are so broadly defined that one cannot easily understand the area and contents of storage facilities. Generally speaking warehouse represents storage facilities which links two nodes in various logistics activities, and storage facilities should contain other facilities like mechanization equipment, automation equipment, information equipment, etc. This study is to show the direction of the evaluation method on the effectiveness of standardized storage facilities. The storage facilities treated in this research are not only storage facilities like warehouse but also storage supporting facilities like mechanization equipment, automation equipment, information equipment, etc. The method for evaluating the effectiveness of standardized storage facilities is to developing some measure of effectiveness (MOE) which represents the entire standardized effectiveness of storage related facilities. This study has originality in that the method for evaluation of standardized storage facilities has not been developed up to now.

어린이 놀이시설 안전사고분석을 통한 GIS기반 사고예방 안전정보 공유 방안 (A Study on Sharing Safety Information of Children's Play Facilities based on GIS using Accident Analysis for Accident Prevention)

  • Children's play facilities have changed over a decade from the traditional play facilities in the front yard to the new type of commercial play facilities which install more exciting and enjoyable facilities, such as Kids Park. The more diversified in the type of facilities, the more difficult in the safety management by the existing system. The 'Safety Management System of Children's Play Facilities' of MOSPA(Ministry of Security and Public Administration) has provided the safety information uni-directly by government sector to the private communities. Recently, multi-directional information sharing methods, such as community mapping are adopted actively in the social activities which have common purpose for making the better community by information sharing with government and private sector. On the purpose of citizen's participation for safe play facilities and preventing accidents, this study investigated the status of child accidents and safety standards, especially focused on the children's play facilities. And the way for sharing safety information among the communities with the GIS mapping skills is suggested in the respect of more easily monitoring and practically inputting the comments on the status of management of play facilities by real users based on their experiences. It is expected that more activities from the private sector would participate to the safety management of children's play facilities by realizing the suggested system.
