  • The online retail market continues to grow, especially in China, as e-commerce has developed rapidly in recent years in many countries. Meanwhile, the development and use of new network information technology provides consumers with various contact and experience environments for online shopping. Based on the theory of media weakness, the study began to focus consumer experience on the nature of commercial transactions. The study proposed and designed an initial measure of the consumer information evaluation index, which combines previous findings with implications. Finally, the five-dimensional B2C system was established to evaluate consumers' information experience providing information display, information interaction, information support and information personalization. We researched on evaluation index system for information experience of B2C e-commerce consumers based on samples of Chinese consumers.

A Study on the User Experience Factors for The Knowledge and Information Resource System (지식정보자원시스템의 이용자 경험요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study developed a user experience factors for the evaluation of knowledge and information resource system from the user experience perspectives, which is emerging as a new analysis standard in the field of information media and information service research. Based on the analysis criteria selected through literature analysis, 'system perception factor' and 'user experience factor' were derived as factors influencing the use of information systems through an experimental study based on the user experience sampling method. As a result, the user experience factors of final knowledge and information resource system includes nine user experience factors, 55 detailed user experience factors, and 138 system perception factors. This study is significant in that the abstract concept 'user experience' was derived and presented as a practical, concrete, measurable factor through experiments. The derived user experience factors should serve as a basis for measuring user experience perceived by users of the knowledge and information resource system.

Information Ethics on the Net among Youths and Related Variables (청소년의 인터넷 정보윤리의식 및 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • This study is aimed to investigate ethics cognition to information of youths who are main users of computers, but yet not built up the own ethics and the sense of value, as ethical problems are raised in information-oriented society. The research was focused on youths ethics cognition to information according to contact of multimedia pornography, surreptitious use of others and abusion of indecent languages in chatting. The survey was conducted to 520 students from middle and high schools in Jeju region and analyzed Probit Regression. The major results of this study are as follows; First, most of youths possess own-computers, and use Internet. Second, looking into experiencing or not according to sub-spheres of ethics cognition to information, the experience of contacting multimedia pornography was few. but the primary place of using it was a house. Most of youths approach multimedia pornography in awareness of a ban on youths' contact. The experience of surreptitious use of others was less than other spheres, and mainly only once. The number of youths who have an experience of abusing indecent languages was less than that of youths who don't have, but the frequency of was high when the youths have an experience. Third, the experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a significant difference on personal-relative variables such as gender, age, education levels, number of siblings, academic records, personal expenses, relationship with friends. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon family-relative variables such as father's education levels, Job, mother's age, education levels, employment, family type, monthly household expense. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a meaningful influence upon PC-relative variables such as deviation experience in PC rooms, the experience of request for age confirmation(I.D. card), average use hour of PC rooms. The experience or no experience on each sub-sphere has a more meaningful influence on personal-relative variables and PC-relative variables than family-relative variables.

Antecedents and Consequences of Flow Experience in Online Movie Information Sharing Behavior: An Empirical Study of Young Chinese Moviegoers Living in Korea

  • This study aims to understand the antecedents and consequences of flow experience in online movie information sharing behavior of young Chinese moviegoers residing in Korea to explore a potential market. We followed the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) theory and flow theory approaches for developing measures of constructs and investigated previous related studies. This study collected 186 data from Chinses students who attend Korean university. Statistical analysis revealed that information seeking behavior and telepresence are related to online flow experience. In addition, the online flow experience affected consumer satisfaction and information sharing behavior. Flow experience also has been predicted the mediation effect between stimulus information seeking behavior, telepresence and satisfaction and information sharing behavior. Our research findings offer insights for marketers in the movie distribution business who are interested in a better understanding of the behaviors of Chinese moviegoers residing in Korea

A Study on the Development of User Experience Indicators for The Knowledge and Information Resource System (지식정보자원시스템 이용자 경험 지표개발에 관한 연구)

  • This study describes a set of user experience indicators developed for the evaluation of knowledge and information resource systems. The user experience perspectives had emerged as a new analysis standard in the field of information media and information service research. The study included a survey conducted to verify the derived experience factors and developed them as indicators. The survey data was gathered from 158 participants in the preliminary and 480 participants in the main study. The applied analysis techniques were descriptive statistics, the exploratory factor analysis, the confirmatory factor analysis, the correlation analysis, and the path analysis. The results introduced seven user experience factors, 37 detailed user experience factors, and 105 system perception factors as the final user experience indicators. The developed and verified indicators should measure the degree of user experience perceived by users of the knowledge and information resource system and conduct effective evaluations that reflect correlation rather than a simple comparison of each experience factor.

Online Health Search Experience: Sentiments from South East Asia

  • Performing an online health search is a popular activity conducted on the Internet. Research studies from developed countries provide information on source used, type of search performed and devices used to perform the search. However, the same cannot be said about the online health information searching scene in South East Asia. Online health information searching is gaining popularity in South East Asia. Citizens in these countries are turning to the Internet to obtain health information quickly. Current research studies pertaining to online health information searching in South East Asian is limited, particularly relating to search experiences of South East Asian health searchers. Search experience is pertinent as it could deter or encourage the possibility of conducting future health searches. In this research study, a user study was conducted to describe the online search experience of South East Asian health searchers. A face to face interview with 50 participants was conducted. The interview was audio recorded and transcribed verbatim. Results indicate participants have positive and negative search experiences. In some cases, post search outcomes influenced the search experience. Results of this research study contribute to the growing domain of knowledge in relation to online health information searching. Results of this study also provide an understanding pertaining to the search experience of South East Asian online health searchers.

  • As the quality of the rising the desire for safety life and the need of safety education to prevent disasters or big safety accident have been shown. Therefore the superintendent of education for safety experience carry out a policy for set up. However, it is unclear the appropriateness of safety education program and safety standard of facilities of introductions in the safety experience center. therefore, in the result of this study will be the basic information for the realities of experience in the place of safety experience education and propose the reform measure.

  • Recently, to draw the web users' attention and stay in the website for a long time to transmit information efficiently, the website designing is focused on providing emotional experience. Emotional experience is possible through the use of interactive storytelling and multimedia. Users immersion, pleasurable experience and synesthesia satisfaction is connected to the emotional experience due to the interaction operation and multimedia feedback. In this study, application of the parallax scrolling technique's possibility has been studied to induce the emotional experience of the web users that appeared in the technical development of the web. Realizing characteristics of the elements that effect emotional experience through web cases are studied and the possibility of effective emotional experience is proposed as using parallax scrolling technique on web.

The Characteristics of Return Factor, Information Search and Perceived Risks by Return Experience in Internet Clothing Purchase (인터넷 쇼핑몰 소비자의 의류제품 반품 경험에 따른 반품 요인, 정보 탐색, 위험 지각 특성)

  • Internet shopping provides convenience to consumers, however, in recent years the consumer's return rate and return-related disputes continue to increase. This article examines the characteristics of return behavior through return experiences of internet clothing purchases. For an empirical study, questionnaires were handed out to 317 undergraduate male and female students, in which the results had been used for data analysis. Data were analyzed through SPSS 12.0 software, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, ANDVA analysis, Duncan test, and $x^2-test$. The results are the following: The analysis of consumers' return factor for clothes in Internet shopping showed there are five factors: product and quality, delivery, impulse buying, change of mind, and service. There is a significant difference in product quality of return factors depending on the availability of the return experience. Thus, consumers with return experience showed more return tendency owing to product quality factor than consumers without return experience. The availability of consumer's return experience was significantly related to information search. Consumers with return experience showed more consistent information search than consumers without return experience. There were significant differences in perceived risks depending on the availability and degree of consumer's return experience. In other words, consumers with return experience perceived more account related risk than consumers without return experience. Moreover, the more return experience the consumer has, the more risks consumers perceived in product performance.
