방사 손실 모델링을 이용한 MTM 안테나 설계 (Design of MTM Antennas using Equivalent Circuit Considering Radiation Loss)

  • 본 논문에서는 손실을 고려한 Metamaterial(MTM) 전송선의 단일 셀을 구성하고, 이 전송선에서 방사효과를 갖는 파라미터들의 실제 값을 구해본다. 그리고 이 단일 셀을 이용하여 분산 다이어그램을 그려, 여러 셀을 cascade로 연결하여 공진체로 사용하기 위한 조건들을 찾아낸다. 공진체로 사용할 시 종단을 단락 또는 개방을 하게 되는데, 각각의 경우에 따라 공진 주파수를 알아내기 위해 나타나는 입력 임피던스 혹은 입력 어드미턴스에 대해서 논의한다. 이를 이용하여 공진 체의 Quality Factor와 대역폭을 구하였으며, 공진 안테나의 입력 어드미턴스를 회로 시뮬레이션과 EM 시뮬레이션에서 비교하였다. 또한 단일 셀을 이용한 안테나를 설계하여, $0.05\lambda_0\times0.12\lambda_0$의 초소형 안테나로의 설계 시 방사효과 모델링이 어떤 영향을 미치는지 분석하였다.

  • In order to care about preserving the environment for future generations, each country has been required to make the laws of the environment. So car manufacturers must design, manufacture and sell cars and trucks that meet customer's need and must do this while meeting the needs of the environment. In this research we have developed product structure and configuration management system that treats electronic catalogs for recycling of automobile parts. This research focused on two system. One is XML-based electronic catalog that give the information about recycling of automobile parts. The other is product structure and configuration management system based on electronic catalog.

PDM 시스템 기반의 협업적 R&D 프로세스 구축 사례연구

  • PDM(Product Data Management)은 제품의 개념정의에서부터 연구개발, 생산, 서비스에 이르는 전 과정에 걸쳐 관련된 모든 제품 정보를 협업을 통해 생성, 관리, 사용하도록 지원하는 일련의 프로세스를 의미한다. PDM 시스템 구축의 일차적 목적은 제품 관련 데이터의 정합성을 확보하여 데이터 관리의 효율성을 제고하고, 업무프로세스의 개선 및 표준화로 부가가치 창출에 기여하는 것이다. 특히 제품의 연구 개발 프로세스 전반에 걸친 제품정보의 공유를 통해 연구개발 부서와 기타 업무부서간 협업적 업무 프로세스의 구축을 촉진함으로써 R&D 경쟁력 확보에 기여할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 의료기기 제조업체의 PDM 구축사례를 소개함으로써 R&D 경쟁력 확보를 위한 PDM의 효용성에 대해 논의하고자 한다. 본 연구의 사례에서는 PDM 시스템 구축을 통해 BOM 관리, 도면 및 설계변경 관리, 문서 관리 등에 소요되는 시간의 $30\sim70%$ 가량을 단축하였으며, 연간 $3\sim5%$ 가량의 재료비 절감이라는 효과를 거두었다. 본 사례연구의 결과가 PDM 도입 시 실질적인 지침을 수립하는데 도움이 될 뿐만 아니라 효과적인 PDM 구축절차 수립에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

Simulation of the SDSS Survey Region of the Universe

  • We reconstruct the large-scale initial density field from the distribution of galaxies observed by the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS). After adding the small-scale fluctuations to match the power spectrum to that of the standard LCDM model, we make a cosmological N-body simulation of formation of structures from the initial conditions. Properties of the objects formed in the simulation can be statistically compared with those of the observed SDSS galaxies. The simulation makes it possible to know the past history of evolution of objects located in different environments, and also gives us information on the environmental parameters that cannot be directly obtained observationally. It is hoped that this comparative study leads us to better understanding of formation and evolution of galaxies in conjunction with large-scale structures in the universe.

  • This paper develops a process monitoring system for real-time process control. The practical case is studied on a small and medium marine equipment company. For business process reengineering of the company, we adopt an approach based on information engineering methodology, which consists of four stages : planning, analysis, design, and implementation. The system is developed for Client/Server environment. We discuss the constructing of hardware system for real-time process control at low cost. The developed system is composed of interrelated modules for item master and BOM management, process control, facility management, SQC and work report.

  • In this paper, an efficient method is proposed to place the cooling lines(CLS) and ejector pins(EPS) of mold design. The other components of mold, except CLS and EPS, can be generated automatically by batch processing. But the placements and sizes of CLS and EPS depend on the shapes of a part, so that the design works of CLS and EPS should be processed interactively. Using the pre-defined reference points, the positions of CLS and EPS can be determined interactively. By the proposed method, the interference occurred during placing CLS and EPS can be avoided, and the proper lengths of them can be calculated automatically. The information of the positions and lengths are stored in BOM database for generating a machining data. The proposed method is implemented with Unigraphics API functions and C language, tested on Unigraphics V15.

  • As moulds and dies are manufactured through complex processes under the make-to-order production environment, it is very difficult that the manufacturing activities as like observance of the due date, trace of the progress, etc are controlled with a real time. In this paper, a schedule-planning system using the commercial software Microsoft Project 98 is developed to control the procedures of mould and die manufacturing with real time. Once an initial schedule is planned from the BOM information in the intranet, it is rescheduled by data collected from machines on the shop floor. The system is suitable to medium- or small-sized manufacturing companies as well as large-sized ones, because it can be installed with a low cost.

  • The collaboration hub has been developed since 2004 as an online collaboration space, which supports the various collaborative works amongst small and medium enterprises using information sharing, collaboration project management, and project history management. Because of the change of manufacturing environment and rapid development of information technologies, it should be evolved from the existing version called Collaboration Hub 1.0. Recently, a lot of manufacturing enterprises know the importance of business process management(BPM) and start to introduce BPM systems. Our research group has developed the new version of Collaboration Hub 1.0 called Collaboration Hub 2.0 which contains the BPM concept, the consistent product data management, and the specialized functions overcoming the various variation of manufacturing. This study scrutinizes the meaning and role of the Collaboration Hub 2.0 and introduces an application study of it to the value chain of automobile module development consisted of a leading company and subcontractors. The case study covers the definition, execution and monitoring of collaboration process, the specialized functions overcoming the manufacturing variation and the key performance index of collaboration business.

  • Supply chain optimization is one of the most important components in the optimization of a company's value chain. This paper considers the problem of designing the supply chain for a product that is represented as an assembly bill of material (BOM). In this problem we are required to identify the locations at which different components of the product arc are produced/assembled. The objective is to minimize the overall cost, which comprises production, inventory holding and transportation costs. We assume that production locations are known and that the inventory policy is a base stock policy. We first formulate the problem as a 0-1 nonlinear integer programming model and show that it can be reformulated as a 0-1 linear integer programming model with an exponential number of decision variables.
