이동로봇의 물체 회피 및 추적 방법 (Object Avoiding and Tracking Method of Mobile Robot)

  • 본 논문에서는 초음파 및 적외선 센서와 무선 카메라를 장착한 소형 이동 로봇의 장애물 회피 및 물체 추적 방법을 제시한다. 장애물 회피를 위해서 제어부의 초음파 발생 신호의 귀환시간과 거리와의 관계 및 적외선 센서에서 측정한 아날로그신호와 거리와의 관계를 추출하여 이동 로봇과 물체와의 거리를 판단하여 로봇의 움직임을 제어하는데 사용한다. 물체 추적 모드에서는 첫째, 물체와 배경 및 유사잡음들과의 강인한 분리를 위하여 고유색상정보와 움직임 정보 등의 사전정보를 활용하였으며 둘째, 형태의 변화가 수반되는 경우에도 유연한 대처능력을 갖도록 하기 위해 영상의 영역분할 방법을 통해 모든 후보영역내의 물체의 존재를 확인하고 물체영역만을 추출하였다. 셋째, 물체 형태정보함수를 정의하고 해당함수를 형태의 보전 에너지로 활용하여 동일 물체의 대응문제를 효과적으로 해결하였다.

  • A distributed web caching system can transmit information to a user quickly and stably, avoiding a congested internet network by storing and later supplying requested content to a cache that is distributed and shared like a proxy server. This paper proposes a client-based distributed web caching system that assigns an object and controls the load using a user's direct connection to shared caches, without the aid of additional domain name system (DNS) requests. The proposed system simplifies information transmission by reducing both DNS queries and delay time.

  • This study investigates the effect of conflict resolution methods on the IS outsourcing performance. A survey of 207 IS oursourcing relationship of U.S. firms indicates that(1) constructive/proactive methods, such as joint problem solving, is positively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships, and that (2) destructive/passive methods, such as persuasion, smoothing/avoiding, domination, and use of harsh words are negatively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships. The findings suggest that the manner in which conflict is resolved can be productive or destructive for the IS outsourcing performance.

  • This paper proposes a path-planning algorithm that enables a robot to reach the goal position while avoiding obstacles. The proposed method, which is based on dynamic programming, finds an optimum path to follow using a modified skeleton map method which exploits information on obstacle positions. Simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed method.

  • A imput buffer typed ATM switch and an appropriate cell-scheduling algorithm are necessary for avoiding output blocking and internal blocking respectively. The algorithm determining a set of non-blocking data cells from the queues can greatly affect on the switch's throughput as well as the behavior of the queues.   • An electronic ballast for driving automotive HID lamps is presented. The circuit topology is composed of a fly back converter, a Ful bridge inverter, and an igniter. A prototype was developed and tested on a 35W lamp with a 12V input voltage. To avoiding the acoustic resonance, the full bridge inverter is operated at 250Hz and provided a squared-wave voltage source to the lamp. The transient and steady state characteristics of the tested HID lamps are measured and analyzed.

  • The difficulties involved in measuring rheological characteristics of complex fluids are discussed. Possible measurement errors, related to the complex nature of the sample, are reviewed. They are explained in terms of the various physical and chemical mechanisms that can cause them. This leads to possible strategies and techniques for avoiding measurement errors and for obtaining useful structural information from rheological experiments on complex materials. Finally, future evolutions in rheometry are discussed.

  • In this Paper, we suggested the Half-Bridge inverter for the automotive HID electronic ballast. electronic ballast for automotive HID lamp should be supplied by low-frequency square wave avoiding the acoustic resonance(11kHz ∼ 825kHz). When the HID lamp is hot state, the electronic ballast should supply the sufficient current for a few milli-second to the lamp at the re-strike ignition state. that is called take-over current. We have introduced the new take-over current control method that could have reduced the peak current and supplied the sufficient take-over current.

  • A simple time-delay method for avoiding collisions between two articulated robot manipulators is proposed. Links of robot are approximated by polyhedra and the danger of collision between two robots is expressed by distances between the robots. An algorithm, which can fast obtain the minimum time-delay value needed for collision avoidance, using scheme of following the boundary contour of collision region in the collision map which has information about collisions between two robots, is described.

  • Avoiding the industrial accidents is one of the goals in manufacturing industries from the top manager to the foremen. Therefore all the companies try to prevent occupational accidents using system safety programs in order to increase the productivity. Korean industries have been tended to depend upon historical information to control risks. The other hand, foreign industries have identified risk factors using system safety techniques to predict future risks. This study presents the method to apply the foreign industries risk control technique to the Korean industries.
