A Study on Tourist Destinations Recommendation App by Medical Tourism Type Using User-Based Collaborative Filtering

  • Recently, medical tourism is recognized as a high value-added industry because of its longer period of stay and higher expenditure than general tourism. In particular, although the number of medical tourists visiting Korea is increasing, the perception of Korean medical services is low. The purpose of this paper is to develop the app which, based on medical tourism type, recommends tourism destinations. Additionally, this proposed app can expand general tourism as well. It can provide tourists with medical information easily by sorting types tourists. Besides, as medical tourists normally stay long, we can take the advantage of post-treatment time. This app collects medical information data and tourist destination data, and categorizes the types of medical tourists into four categories: disease medical tourism, traditional medical tourism, cosmetic medical tourism, and recreational medical tourism. It provides medical information according to each type and recommends customized tourist destinations. User-based collaborative filtering is applied for tourist destination recommendations.

국내 의류 제조업체와 생산 협력업체간 정보 공유 특성 (The Quality of the Information Sharing between the Korean Apparel Manufatures and the Contractors)

  • As apparel manufacturers have increased their outsourcing garment making to cope with the rapid changing market, the information sharing has been the most important factor for the Korean apparel industry. The purpose of this research was to study the present state and the needs of the information sharing between the apparel manufacturers and the contractors; and the relationship between the product property (basic/fashion product) and the information sharing property. A total of 86 Korean apparel manufacturers were surveyed for the study. The results are: 1) the information sharing level on manufacturing capacity, manufacturing processing condition, and product quality were a bit higher than other surveyed information, but the level on inventories and sales were lower than others. in addition, the information sharing needs by online system of manufacturing capacity, manufacturing processing condition, and product quality were greater than other information; 2) In the case of fashion product, the information sharing needs of product quality by online system were much greater than in the case of basic product. This study is expected to help apparel manufacturers to construct their information sharing system which is apt for their product property and needs.

A Study on the Future Direction of the Digital Signage Industry in Korea: A Big Data Network Analysis from 2008 to 2019

  • The use of digital signage in the public and commercial communication areas has been increasing in recent years. By integrating cutting-edge information technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, and the Internet of Things, digital signage continues to break apart from traditional outdoor advertising media. This study identified the problems facing the domestic digital signage industry by exploring and analyzing major issues related to digital signage and derived future development measures. Specifically, online documents were collected based on the digital signage-related keywords created over the past 12 years to conduct big data network analysis, and key topics were derived through visualization of the results. This study has great policy implications in that it excluded biased interpretations based on the viewpoints of companies or the government and, more objectively, suggested the direction of the digital signage industry's development in the domestic media market.

User Matching System for Activating Sports Tourism Based on Hybrid App

  • In this paper, we propose a user matching app based on hybrid app and a utilization plan to promote sports tourism in line with the growing trend of sports industry scale. The proposed app categorizes sports facilities across the country into regional, sports, private and public sports facilities to support reservations and matching. The proposed app applied a matching system in which matching scores were given according to the preference of events, places, and users by user net matching algorithm. Users can enjoy sports as a team or individual through the suggestion app even if they do not have any clubs or friends to which they belong. It can be used to improve tourism content services and establish tourism industry policies by analyzing data generated while using a user matching system.

  • 국내 문화 콘텐츠 산업은 2000년대부터 급속한 성장을 보이고 있다. 이에 정부는 차세대 국내 성장 산업으로 문화콘텐츠 산업을 지정하고 이를 육성하기 위해 다양한 법규를 만드는 등 예산의 지원도 아끼지 않고 있으며, 각 지자체에서도 문화콘텐츠산업의 다양한 정책들을 마련하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 문화 콘텐츠산업의 중요성이 강조되고 있음에도 불구하고 문화콘텐츠의 경쟁력을 분석한 연구가 거의 이루어지고 있지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 LQ분석과 GAP분석을 토대로 권역별 문화콘텐츠산업의 현황수준과 역량분석을 하여 경제적 파급효과를 제시하였다. 이를 통해 부산의 고 부가가치 문화 콘텐츠 산업의 경쟁력을 검토하고 문화 콘텐츠 활성화를 위한 계획을 수립 할 예정이다. 또한 본 연구는 부산과 다른 지역의 경쟁력을 비교하고 부산시의 경제적 기여도를 보여줄 것이다.

  • It is our common understanding that biological materials like microorganisms, tissue and cell cultures, seeds, plants and animals are inevitable resources for the development of science and technology. Culture collections which are reservior of biological materials now occupy a central position in life sciences and biotechnology. The World Data Center of Microorganisms (WDC) is a infrastructure of culture collections in the world realizing quick and smooth exchanges of information and microorganisms to support research and development in those fields. The WDC was relocated from University of Queensland in Australia to out institute RIKEN in 1986. Experience Type Applications by the Behavior of Food-Content Creators

  • It has emerged Food-content among various forms of 1-person media through social media. Food-content influencer also market products through 1-person media, generating revenue through increased views and subscribers of 1-person media. It also sells products through sponsorship. In general, there is a profit structure through 1-person media viewing, but research on how restaurant companies generate profits directly through food-content is insufficient. In addition, research on converting subscribers to consumers through food-contents is minimal. In this paper, we propose an experiential application system based on the behavior of food-content creators. The proposed system collects and categorizes food-content information, and maps between highly related words to organize into keyword categories. The ontology tag-based concept network applied to the proposed system connects representative information by pre-extracting/mapping information related to information requests among a wide range of data. This method maps relevant food-content information to provide the user with data collected/storage in the form of an application. The user uses the application while watching the food eaten by the influencer and creator. And, it is meaningful that the user could be provided is provided with information about the food they want to eat.

WebGIS를 이용한 호남문화정보시스템(HCIS) 구축 (Construction of the Honam Culture Information System(HCIS) using Web GIS)

  • 그 동안 문화정보에 관한 연구는 개별 문화정보가 중심을 이루어 왔으며, 그 연구내용은 종이지도를 이용한 권역 설정에 그 초점이 맞추어 졌다고 볼 수 있다. 그 결과 극히 제한적인 계량적 공간분석과 지도상에 보이는 직감적인 분석은 복잡하고 방대한 문화자료를 체계적이고 과학적으로 정리하고 활용하는데 한계가 있었다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하는 방안으로 지역문화정보에 대한 효율적 관리체계의 구축과 문화정보의 시공간적 역동성을 총체적으로 분석할 수 있는 GIS의 도입은 필수 불가결하다. 특히 오늘날 고도 정보산업에 의해 문화 전달속도가 빨라지고 가치가 다변화된 사회구조에서는 편방향의 정보제공이 아닌 양방향 정보제공이 중시되고 있다. WebGIS에 기반을 둔 지역문화정보시스템은 사용자가 인터넷을 이용하여 다양한 문화정보에 대한 시 공간적인 분석과 통계적 분석을 가능하게 됨으로서 WebGIS를 이용한 호남문화정보시스템은 지역정보에 대한 포괄적인 접근이 용이할 뿐만 아니라 문화 개별요소간의 통계 분석을 통한 새로운 정보의 창출과 지역 간 비교 연구에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 생각한다.
