Microorganisms Against Plasmodiophora brassicae

  • In order to find microorganisms showing antifungal activities against Plasmodiophora brassicae, which causes club root, Korean salt-fermented fishery products were tested. Several fermented broths of microorgansims isolated from Ammodytes personatus fishery products showed high antifungal activities. The identification of microorganisms and their in vivo antifungal activities are reported herein.

Comparison of Korean Informatics & Computer Teacher Training Curriculum and J07-CS Curriculum (한국의 중등 정보·컴퓨터 교사양성 교육과정과 J07-CS 교육과정의 비교)

  • Since 2018, the level of informatics education that is mandatory in junior high schools depends on the subject matter expertise of Informatics & Computer teachers. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether secondary teacher training institutes provide curriculum that guarantees the subjectivity of Informatics & Computer teachers. In order to achieve the goal, this study first compares curriculum courses for educating Informatics & Computer teachers of Korea secondary teacher training institutes with subjects based on the content system of J07-CS, the informatics education in Japan. Second, we compare the basic subjects offered by the Ministry of Education with the vocational subjects. Third, we analyzed the basic subjects of each university. As a result of the study, the number of informatics-related courses opened by Korean secondary teacher training institutions was insufficient compared to the number of subjects in J07-CS. Even though the standard of comparison was limited to basic subjects, the content elements were insufficient, and the ratio of the basic subjects of each university was low. In order to achieve the goal of informatics education from 2018, it is urgent to improve the curriculum of secondary education teachers.

  • As the emphasis on software education in the 2015 revised curriculum, Informatics has become one of the essential subjects for the middle school students, and contents and achievement standards have been developed focusing on the information culture literacy, computational thinking, and collaborative problem solving ability. The 2015 revised Informatics curriculum for the first grade of middle school has been applied for the first time in 2018. Various educational policies have been promoted such as training of teachers, development of teaching and learning materials and programs to support implementation of the actual school fields. In this study, we analyzed the improvement issues and tasks of the 2015 revised curriculum according to the change of the Informatics education policy of in the global, and suggested the development direction of the future Informatics curriculum in Korea. The direction of the development of the Informatics curriculum is focused on ensuring the linkage between school level and identity of informatics education.

  • Artificial Intelligence has stimulated every aspect of today's life. Human thinking quality is trying to be involved through digital tools in all research areas of the modern era. The education industry is also leveraging artificial intelligence magical power. Uses of digital technologies in pedagogical paradigms are being observed from the last century. The widespread involvement of artificial intelligence starts reshaping the educational landscape. Adaptive learning is an emerging pedagogical technique that uses computer-based algorithms, tools, and technologies for the learning process. These intelligent practices help at each learning curve stage, from content development to student's exam evaluation. The quality of information technology students and professionals training has also improved drastically with the involvement of artificial intelligence systems. In this paper, we will investigate adopted digital methods in the education sector so far. We will focus on intelligent techniques adopted for information technology students and professionals. Our literature review works on our proposed framework that entails four categories. These categories are communication between teacher and student, improved content design for computing course, evaluation of student's performance and intelligent agent. Our research will present the role of artificial intelligence in reshaping the educational process.

  • 데이터 마이닝 기법 중 순차 패턴 마이닝(Sequential Pattern Mining)은 연관 규칙에 시간의 개념을 추가하여 시간의 흐름에 따른 항목(item)들의 상호 연관성을 찾아내는 것이다. 본 연구의 목적은 순차적인 상병의 발생 가능성이 높은 상병 군의 패턴을 찾아내어 이를 모형화함으로써 차후에 발생된 상병을 예방하고 이를 통하여 환자와의 관계를 관리하여 보다 나은 의료서비스를 제공하는데 있다.
