본 연구는 정부의 메시지 제시 유형 즉, 텍스트 형태의 보도자료와 대량의 정보를 시각적으로 표현하기 위한 인포그래픽 그리고 어렵고 난해한 정보를 흥미롭게 제공하기 위한 웹툰이 환경의식 따른 정보의 이해 용이성과 정보습득에는 차이가 있는지 상호작용효과는 있는지 확인하였다. 연구결과, 정보의 메시지 제시 유형과 환경의식에 따른 정보이해 용이성에는 주효과와 상호작용효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 정부의 메시지 제시 유형과 환경 의식에 따른 정보습득에는 각각의 변인에 관한 주효과는 확인되었으나 상호작용효과는 나타나지 않았다. 이상의 연구결과는 정부 3.0시대를 맞이하여 정보 수용자들에게 제공되는 정부의 메시지 제시 유형 정보의 효용성과 유용성을 획득하기 위한 기초자료를 제공하였다는 것에 의의를 두고자 한다.

The economic value of personal information has its importance as an objective measure of valuation in commercial, legal, and policy areas. Until recently, however, personal information subjects have not properly recognized the economic value of personal information, which has led to the inability to exercise the right to self-determination of personal information by unconsciously agreeing to the terms and conditions of personal information service without recognizing the value of personal information provided to the service provider when subscribing to a specific service. Therefore, we will examine the methodologies for calculating the economic value of personal information and the practical guarantee of the right to self-determination of personal information and analyze the economic value of personal information through a survey. Also, we would like to propose various ways for the subject of personal information with limited cognitive resources to visually accept the economic value of personal information required by the terms and conditions and suggest the optimal visualization of personal information economic value to exercise the right to self-determination of personal information. To do so, in this paper, we have conducted two survey experiments to estimate the economic value of personal information. Based on the price of personal information by category retrieved from surveys, we have visualized the price of personal information in various forms and asked respondents to choose the optimal infographic that best represents the value of personal information visually. As a result, we have proposed an optimal usage of the infographic to 'nudge' information subjects about their right to self-determination of personal information, therefore opening the possibility of diminishing privacy paradox.

This paper describes and suggests the data visualization for real time power system operation based on energy management system. Because real time power system operation performs analysis of the vast amount of on-line data, the operators need intuitive data visualization to find out useful information in the big data. Especially, in emergency situation, the data visualization is able to assist the operators in handling the crisis quickly and efficiently. Therefore, this paper aims to improve displays of output of real time power system operation by visualizing on-line big data. Through this study, we can develop improved visualization technique for real time power system operation, which has highly readable displays of output and intuitive information.

This paper analyzes the design and usability of maternal notebook mobile application and suggests the improvement direction of the application. The researcher compared and analyzed the functions of maternal notebook applications, conducted user interviews and expert evaluations. The conclusions of this study are the use of appropriate information volume, proportional screen division focusing on main functions, the use of GNB format of main menus, the prohibition of double menu configuration, the use of color consistent with the image of the service, the use of few font sizes, the use of appropriate colors in typography, the use of rich icons with uniform design, card format, list format, but also timeline and infographic forms that make rich user interface design. Maternal notebook application research is expected to be an important reference for research on similar mobile applications with complex functions such as information provision, user history, and community, along with improved research in healthcare design.

Minard의 정보맵은 1812년 나폴레옹의 러시아침공을 묘사한 정보그래픽스로서 Tufte (1983)가 극찬하였던 그림이다. 이 정보그래픽스를 데이터시각화교육에서 스토리텔링 소재로서 활용할 수 있다. 본 논문에서 Minard의 정보맵을 시작점으로 하여 스토리텔링을 이용한 데이터시각화 교육에 대하여 4개의 주제(정보그래픽스, 정보디자인, Minard, 나폴레옹의 러시아침공)별로 언급하였다.

The article examines one of the most important means of visualization of mass information on the Internet - information graphics in the broadest sense of the term as a visual technology for presenting mass information. The main objectives of the article are to determine the genre-typological features of infographics and basic technological principles; identification of features of creation and use of information graphics in modern network. Certain benefits of online infographic editors include savings in resources and time. They allow the user, who has basic PC skills, to create standardized infographics based on their own data. In addition, the use of online services develops visual thinking, allows you to get an idea of quality criteria and current trends in infographics, as well as to gain initial experience in the visual presentation of data.

The current study investigates the effects of an interactive learning environment on EFL students' vocabulary acquisition and reading comprehension skills. The study utilized a quasi-experimental design. The sample consisted of 41 students enrolled in the English program at Umm Al-Qura University studying Reading in EFL course in Summer 2018/2019. The sample was randomly divided into two groups: A control group consisting of 21 students and an experimental group of 20 students. The results revealed statistically significant differences at (α≤ 0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control group in the posttest of the vocabulary test and the reading comprehension test favoring the experimental group. Finally, the study concluded with a call for more studies on modern technologies in teaching EFL skills in the Saudi context.

최근 사용자들의 일상생활을 실시간으로 측정하고 기록하며 타인과의 공유까지 확장되고 있는 라이프로깅 서비스가 증가하고 있다. 특히, 웨어러블 디바이스와 스마트폰의 발달로 애플리케이션에 기반한 라이프로깅 서비스가 대중화되면서 사용자 행태에 의해 서비스 콘텐츠가 제작되고 메뉴화되어 인포그래픽 형태로 제공되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 라이프로깅 서비스의 콘텐츠 항목을 구성하기 위한 사용자 행태를 추출하고 분류하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 위하여 첫째, 학술 서적과 논문, 단행본을 포함한 도서, 출판물 등 문헌조사를 통한 라이프로깅의 개념과 특징을 살펴보고 기존의 라이프로깅 관련 사용자 행태 기반 콘텐츠 항목을 살펴본다. 둘째, 라이프로깅 서비스를 위한 콘텐츠 항목으로서 사용자 행태를 추출하고 분류 한다. 문헌 자료, 선행 논문 및 라이프로깅 애플리케이션의 콘텐츠 항목에서 사용자 행동 어휘를 수집한다. 수집된 어휘는 FGI(Focus Group Interview)와 설문을 통한 적합성 검정 분석에 의하여 라이프로깅 서비스를 위한 콘텐츠 항목에 필요한 39개 어휘를 추출한다. 최종적으로 추출한 39개 어휘는 설문과 통계 분석 및 FGI를 통해 19개 사용자 행태 - '먹다', '집안일을 하다', '다이어트를 하다', '여행하다', '운동하다', '대중교통 수단을 이용하다', '촬영하다', '만나다', '감정을 느끼다', '말하다', '보살피다', '운전하다', '듣다', '온라인에 접속하다', '잠자다', '가다', '일하다', '배우다', '보다'-로 분류되었다. 셋째, 본 연구를 통해 제시한 결과를 통하여 라이프로깅 애플리케이션에서의 콘텐츠 항목 구성에 대한 활용과 한계점을 논할 것이다.

최근 창조경제 시대를 맞이하여 급부상하는 단어가 바로 빅데이터이다. 이에 따라 공간정보 관련 기관들도 공간빅데이터체계를 구축하기 위해 노력하고 있다. 공간빅데이터는 공간정보와 빅데이터가 결합한 형태로써 사용자들이 효율적으로 이해하기 위해서 데이터 시각화 기술이 필수적이다. 최근 데이터 시각화 기술 중에 떠오르는 분야는 바로 인포그래픽이다. 국내에서는 조선닷컴이 2010년 8월부터 인포그래픽 뉴스를 서비스하고 있다. 대한민국 정부도 2013년 정부 부처 업무보고를 시작으로 인포그래픽을 선도적으로 활용하고 있다. 외국 인포그래픽 업체 Visual.ly의 경우 이집트 의원선거 결과를 인터랙티브 인포그래픽을 이용하여 직관적이고 효과적으로 데이터를 시각화했다. 국방분야 인포그래픽 가운데 영국 가디언지가 2010년에 발표한 아프가니스탄 전쟁 관련 인포그래픽을 완성도가 높은 데이터 시각화의 형태로 볼 수 있다. 가디언지가 제작한 인포그래픽을 연구한 결과 국방분야 인포그래픽이 갖추어야 할 5가지 조건을 도출하였다. 첫째, 원천 데이터는 시공간적으로 정확성을 갖추고 있어야 한다. 둘째, 인포그래픽의 이미지는 정보를 압축하여 담고 있어야 한다. 셋째, 인포그래픽은 지휘관을 위해 가공된 정보를 제공해야 한다. 넷째, 질 높은 인포그래픽 생산을 위해 공유과 개방, 소통이 필수적이다. 다섯째, 과거의 자료를 토대로 정보를 생산하고 미래의 사건을 예측할 수 있는 분석적 도구로써의 인포그래픽이 되어야 한다. 인포그래픽은 데이터를 직역하여 보여주는 것이 아닌 사용자의 판단과 결심을 돕는 분석적 도구로써 사용되어야 할 것이다.

블렌디드 러닝방식을 통해 디자인 교육에 대한 블렌디드 러닝 방식의 연구로서, 더 발전된 학습자 주도의 맞춤형 디자인 교육이 가능한 것을 제안하고자 한다. 대면 수업에서의 이해와 비대면에서의 장점을, 원격 수업에서 적절한 방식으로 보충할 수 있다. 발전한 인공지능과 빅데이터 기술은 디자인 분야 수업에서의 정량화된 데이터를 토대로 학습자의 수준과 관심에 맞는 개별화되고 세분화 된 맞춤형 학습 자료와 효과적인 학습 방법을 제공할 수 있다. 본론에서는 알 라 카르테 모델 (A La Carte) 제안을 통한 시·공간의 제약을 넘는 방식의 적용으로 수업의 효율을 극대화를 제안하였다. 언제 어디서나 들을 수 있는 원격 수업으로 소외 지역에 사는 학생들에게 제공되는 교육의 질과 교육 격차 해소에도 가능하다. 창의융합형 미래 인재를 양성하는 목표로서, 빠른 기술 발전 속도를 가지고 달라지고 있기에. 이에 발맞춘 학습 방법의 변화에 적응력을 지닐 필요가 있다. 알 라 카르테 모델 (A La Carte) 제안을 통한 인포그래픽 가상공간 디자인과 구축과정에 대한 분석을 제시하였다. 단순히 지식을 습득하는 것이 아니라, 지식을 선별하고, 구분하고, 학습하고, 자신만의 지식으로 손쉽게 재탄생시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.
