3-6세 유아의 영역별 발달 촉진을 위한 단계별 음악치료교육 활동 연구 (Music Activities for Facilitation of Developmental Domains for Children from Age Three to Six)

  • 유아기는 발달의 가소성이 높은 시기로써, 이 시기에 적절한 발달 과정을 거쳐서 성장한 유아들은 학령기에서 성인기까지 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 따라서 유아를 대상으로 교육을 할 때 발달 특징을 충분히 이해하고, 단계별로 진행되는 적합한 교육 프로그램을 제공하여 유아가 균형적이며 전인적인 발달을 하게 하는 것이 중요하다. 반면, 유아를 교육할 때는 신뢰를 형성하고 유용한 관계를 발전시키는데 있어서 즐거움을 갖게 하는 것이 중요한데, 음악은 즐거운 교육 환경을 제공하고 참여하도록 유도하며 음악의 다양한 요소를 활용한 음악 활동은 유아의 각 영역별 발달을 촉진하는데 효과적으로 사용될 수 있다. 음악치료에서는 이러한 음악의 효율적인 사용을 통해서 대상자의 연령별 수준에 맞는 음악 활동의 과정을 단계적으로 계획하여 대상자로 하여금 긍정적인 경험을 제공하고, 성장을 돕는 것을 궁극적인 목표로 한다. 유아는 운동, 인지, 언어, 사회성과 정서 영역에서 각각 발달의 특징을 보이며, 각 영역의 발달을 위한 음악적 접근 방법이 많은 선행 연구들에서 모색되어져 왔다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 선행연구와 이론을 토대로 유아의 영역별 발달 단계를 구분하고, 각 발달 단계에 따른 세부 목표를 설정하여 목표 달성과 발달 촉진을 위한 음악치료 교육 및 음악적 접근 방법을 적용한 음악치료 교육 활동을 연구, 개발하였다. 연구방법은 크게 문헌 조사와 검사지 조사 방법을 사용하였다. 문헌 조사는 유아의 영역별 발달 특징과 음악적 접근을 모색한 선행 연구를 파악하는 단계에서 활용 되었으며, 이를 실제 유아의 발달 단계에 적용하여 적합한 음악치료 교육 활동을 개발하는 과정에서 전문가의 검토를 받는 검사지 조사 방법을 사용하였다. 개발된 활동들은 관련 영역의 전문가 5명으로부터 타당도를 검토 받았으며, 검토 분석 결과, 유아의 영역별 발달 단계와 각 단계별 목표를 달성하기 위한 음악 활동의 구성이 적합하고, 현장에서 활용하기에 유용성과 효율성이 있으며, 유아의 영역별 발달 촉진에 적합하게 사용될 수 있는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 본 연구에서는 각 전문가들의 의견을 수렴하여 음악치료 교육 활동을 수정, 보완하여 제시하였다. 이는 유아를 교육하는 현장에서 유아의 발달을 촉진하는데 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것이며, 음악치료를 하는 현장에서는 치료사들이 장애아동을 치료하는데 단계별 수준에 적합하게 적용하여 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

저체중아의 성장 발달에 관한 연구 (A study of the growth and development of the low birth weight infant)

  • Currently changing trends of child health care is demand total health assessment of child including growth and development. This study concentrates on the growth & developmental status of low birth weight infant for help their growth & development. Thus it can be provide a direction for scientific health education and counseling materials by investigating factor of growth & development. The subjects for this study were made up of 40 low birth weight infant who attended the well baby clinic of E university Hospital. The study method used was a questionnaire & anthropometric assessment and DDST for normative data of development. The period for data collection was from July 1st to August 31th, 1982. Analysis of the data was done using percentages, $\chi$$^2$-test Stepwise Multiple Regression. The results of study were as follows. 1. The mean weight of birth was 2,068gm and mean of gestational period was 35.65 weeks. 2. The age at which weight ; 32.5%, head circumference : 67,5% chest circumference : 55.0%, height : 50. 0% was normal range of physical growth. 3. The reverse age at which social development ; 87.5%, fine motor & adaptive development ; 70.0%, gross motor development ; 72.5% of children Passed by DDST to determine of normal range of development. 4. In the among variables, it was found that the infant who were the higher emotional & verbal response of mother and stimulus environment was the more normal range of weight & development than who was not. 5. The stepwise Multiple Regression between developmental status and predictors-birth order, weight at birth, sex, antenatal care, gestational period-are accounts for 34.1%.

초산모 배우자의 아동기 경험, 부성애착, 부성역할에 관한 연구 (Childhood Experiences, Paternal Attachment and Paternal Role of Primiparous Spouses)

  • Purpose: This study aims to provide foundational data for preparing for educational programs on the role of a father that are designed to help primiparous spouses carry out the paternal role successfully. Methods: This study was conducted in two OB/GYN clinics and a study sample of 277 primiparous spouses who satisfied the selection criteria was selected. Results: Of the correlation among the childhood experiences, paternal attachment and role of a father of the subjects, the childhood experiences had a positive correlation with the paternal-infant attachment and the role of a father. The paternal-infant attachment and the role of a father also had a positive correlation. Conclusion: An infant is influenced primarily by his or her parents, who will have immense influences on the child's growth and development. Since the paternal-infant attachment is closely related to the role of a father, the development of positive paternal-infant attachment must be preceded in order for a primiparous spouse to carry out the role of a father successfully. Therefore, the development of nursing intervention programs is needed to foster the proper understanding of the role of a father, accommodate the practical needs of primiparous spouses and nurture the paternal-infant attachment for the promotion of realistic, successful role of a father.

Development and Evaluation of a Video Discharge Education Program focusing on Mother-infant Interaction for Mothers of Premature Infants

  • Purpose: This study was done to develop a video discharge education program focusing on mother-infant interaction to facilitate the development of maternal role confidence for mothers of premature infants. Methods: The process of the program was based on the Network-based Instructional System Design suggested by Jung (1999). For the content of the program, needs and concerns of mothers of premature infants found on web sites and existing literature were analyzed. Based on this content, the scenario and the video were developed. Nurses and mothers of premature infants participated in the process of testing the content validity, scenario development, and evaluation of final video production. The final video has two parts and lasts 21 minutes. The first part focuses on mother-premature infant interaction and the second part focuses on health management of infants. Results: Eleven mothers of premature infants participated in the evaluation of the appropriateness of the video as a teaching method and for educational content. They reported that the content on mother-infant interaction, maternal sensitivity, and maternal role confidence was especially beneficial. Conclusion: The findings indicate that video program is effective for education on maternal-premature infant interaction and the use of video in practical settings is strongly recommended.

만 1세 영아를 위한 보육의 구조와 과정 분석 (Analysis of Structure and Process of Childcare for One Year Olds)

  • The purpose of the study was to examine the actual conditions of caregiver-infant ratios, group-room activity areas, evaluations of infant programs and caregiver-infant interactions based on structural and process indicators which are major factors of infant care. The subjects were 20 caregivers and 91 infants from 14 infant classes of 13 day care centers in Daejeon. An actual survey was conducted on caregiver-infant ratios and group-room activity areas, and teaching-learning plans for infants and daily schedules were gathered for the evaluation of infant programs. The caregiver-infant interactions were observed every one minute for a total of 20 minutes using Lee Wan Jeong's "Evaluation Measure of Caregiver-infant Interactions"(1999). The results of this study were as follows: First, caregiver-infant ratios ranged from 2.5 to 7 infants per caregiver, resulting in the difference of the number of infants. Second, the 14 classes for one-year-old infants were arranged in three different ways; 5 classrooms with distinctive activity areas, 2 without any divided areas and 7 containing a mix of partial activity areas. Third, in teaching-learning plans for infants, there were a large number of topics related to seasonal features and experiences while the fewest were about basic life habits. Fourth, in the caregiver-infant interactions, caregivers used more positive interactions and linguistic modeling than sensitive responses to infants and social interactions.

어머니의 심리적 특성 및 양육 관련 변인이 2세 영아의 발달에 미치는 영향 : 양육방식의 매개적 역할 (The Influences of Mother's Psychological Characteristics and Parenting Related Factors on Two-year-old Infants' Development : The Mediating Role of Parenting Styles)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships among mother's psychological characteristics(self-esteem, self-efficacy, and depression), parenting related factors(maternal parenting stress and mother's knowledge on infant development), maternal parenting style, and two-year-old infants' development. The participants consisted of 1735 mothers and their two-year old infants selected from a sample of the 3rd Panel Study of Korean Children(PSKC) by the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education(KICCE), conducted in 2010. Data were analyzed by means of a Structural Equation Model(SEM) to identify the structure and relationships among the various factors. The significance of direct and indirect effects to test the mediating effect of maternal parenting style were identified via bootstrapping. The results indicated that maternal parenting style most definitely mediated the relationship among the mother's psychological characteristics(self-esteem and self-efficacy), parenting related factors(maternal parenting stress and mother's knowledge on Infant development) and the development of their two-year-old infants.

울음소리의 주파수 대역폭 분석을 이용한 소아호흡기 질환 진단에 관한 연구 (A Study on Infant Respiratory Diseases Diagnosis using Frequency Bandwidth Analysis of Crying Waveform)

  • 출산율, 결흔율 감소 및 이혼을 증가 등의 사회적 현상으로 인해 태어나면서부터 건강에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있는 실정이다. 특히 의사 표현 능력이 부족한 소아의 질환 진단은 직접 내원해서 진단을 받아야 하는 불편함을 가지고 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 재택 기반으로 소아 울음소리를 통해 음성 분석학적 요소를 추출하여 정상 소아와 질환을 앓고 있는 소아와의 비교, 분석을 통해 소아 질환을 진단할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 특히, 본 논문은 소아에게 가장 쉽게 걸릴 수 있는 소아호흡기 질환 중 소아감기, 소아폐렴 및 소아천식을 대상으로 실험을 수행하였으며 울음소리의 특징 요소를 추출하여 진단기기로 개발하고자 한다. 이를 위해 소아호흡기 질환이 인체의 음성 기관을 자극하는 질환임을 가정하고 음성학적 분석 요소 중 조음기관과 관련된 주파수대역폭분석을 통한 방법을 실험하였으며 이를 정상 소아와 소아호흡기 질환을 앓고 있는 환자를 비교, 분석하였다. 이와같은 방법을 통해 정상 소아에 비해 호흡기 질환을 앓고 있는 소아가 주파수 대역폭이 짧게 형성되는 결과를 추출하였다.

영아의 디지털기기 사용과 디지털기기에 대한 부모의 인식이 영아의 언어발달에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Infant's Digital Device Usage and Parents' Perception on Infant's Language Development)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of parents' perception of infant's use of digital devices on language development. Methods: For this study, a survey was conducted on 285 parents of 1-2year old infants attending childcare centers in Jeollanam-do. Results: First, the digital devices that infants were exposed to the most was the television, and their first exposure to digital devices was at 13~17 months. The most time spent using digital devices was 30 minutes and they most frequently used them at home. Second, parents perceived the educational value of digital devices as low. Third, language development was high when the initial use of digital devices for infants was late, when the daily use time of digital devices was less than 30 minutes, when digital devices were used with parents, and when parents always managed digital devices and usage time. Fourth, Parents' perception of the use of digital devices has a significant influence on their infants' language development. Conclusion/Implications: Language development due to the use of digital devices and parents' perception of the use of digital devices has a significant impact on infants language development.

Implementing Parental Involvement in Infants' Rooms: Explore Infant Teachers' Perspectives and Practices

  • Researchers had theorized that the earliest years' experiences were extremely critical to a child's future development (Jung, 2008; Liu et al., 2020), and parental involvement was a key character (Lamb et al., 2002; Liu, 2020). Though the critical role of parental involvement in education has been confirmed, less attention has been paid to its influence on infants' development. For the sake of infants' appropriate development, infant teachers always met barriers to finding, designing, and implementing age-appropriate activities. This case study aims at exploring the role of parental involvement in the development in infancy by surveying one director, four infant teachers, and six early childhood pre-service teachers' perspectives and practices regarding parental involvement in infant rooms within a Reggio Emilia-inspired child development center. Findings revealed that all participants: (1) thought parental involvement was essential to their decision-making process; (2) were aware of the benefits of implementing parental involvement in infants' rooms; (3) gained an opportunity to reflect on their practices regarding parental in-volvement and reprocess their previous perspectives. This study recommends that, in order to facilitate infants' development appropriately, child-care centers need to take into account parental involvement and work with parents collaboratively.
