  • Lately, as artificial intelligence becomes a source of global competitiveness, the government is strategically fostering artificial intelligence that is the base technology of future new industries such as autonomous vehicles, drones, and robots. Domestic artificial intelligence research and services have been launched mainly in Naver and Kakao, but their size and level are weak compared to overseas. Recently, deep learning has been conducted in recent years while recording innovative performance in various pattern recognition fields including speech recognition and image recognition. In addition, deep running has attracted great interest from industry since its inception, and global information technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Samsung have successfully applied deep learning technology to commercial products and are continuing research and development. Therefore, we will look at artificial intelligence which is attracting attention based on previous research.

Safety Evaluation of Bifidobacterium breve IDCC4401 Isolated from Infant Feces for Use as a Commercial Probiotic

  • Previously, our research group isolated Bifidobacterium breve IDCC4401 from infant feces as a potential probiotic. For this study, we evaluated the safety of B. breve IDCC4401 using genomic and phenotypic analyses. Whole genome sequencing was performed to identify genomic characteristics and investigate the potential presence of genes encoding virulence, antibiotic resistance, and mobile genetic elements. Phenotypic analyses including antibiotic susceptibility, enzyme activity, production of biogenic amines (BAs), and proportion of D-/L-lactate were evaluated using E-test, API ZYM test, high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), and D-/L-lactic acid assay respectively. The genome of B. breve IDCC4401 consists of 2,426,499 bp with a GC content of 58.70% and 2,016 coding regions. Confirmation of the genome as B. breve was provided by its 98.93% similarity with B. breve DSM20213. Furthermore, B. breve IDCC4401 genes encoding virulence and antibiotic resistance were not identified. Although B. breve IDCC4401 showed antibiotic resistance against vancomycin, we confirmed that this was an intrinsic feature since the antibiotic resistance gene was not present. B. breve IDCC4401 showed leucine arylamidase, cystine arylamidase, α-galactosidase, β-galactosidase, and α-glucosidase activities, whereas it did not show production of harmful enzymes such as β-glucosidase and β-glucuronidase. In addition, B. breve IDCC4401 did not produce any tyramine, histamine, putrescine, cadaverine, or 2-phenethylamine, which are frequently detected BAs during fermentation. B. breve IDCC4401 produced 95.08% of L-lactate and 4.92% of D-lactate. Therefore, our findings demonstrate the safety of B. breve IDCC 4401 as a potential probiotic for use in the food industry.

A Study on the Restaurant Recommendation Service App Based on AI Chatbot Using Personalization Information

  • The growth of the mobile app markets has made it popular among people who recommend relevant information about restaurants. The recommendation service app based on AI Chatbot is that it can efficiently manage time and finances by making it easy for restaurant consumers to easily access the information they want anytime, anywhere. Eating out consumers use smartphone applications for finding restaurants, making reservations, and getting reviews and how to use them. In addition, social attention has recently been focused on the research of AI chatbot. The Chatbot is combined with the mobile messenger platform and enabling various services due to the text-type interactive service. It also helps users to find the services and data that they need information tersely. Applying this to restaurant recommendation services will increase the reliability of the information in providing personal information. In this paper, an artificial intelligence chatbot-based smartphone restaurant recommendation app using personalization information is proposed. The recommendation service app utilizes personalization information such as gender, age, interests, occupation, search records, visit records, wish lists, reviews, and real-time location information. Users can get recommendations for restaurants that fir their purpose through chatting using AI chatbot. Furthermore, it is possible to check real-time information about restaurants, make reservations, and write reviews. The proposed app uses a collaborative filtering recommendation system, and users receive information on dining out using artificial intelligence chatbots. Through chatbots, users can receive customized services using personal information while minimizing time and space limitations.

Case Study on the Building Organization of Medibio Research Laboratory Facilities in Research-driven Hospital (연구중심병원 의생명연구원의 실험실 구성 사례 조사)

  • Healthcare technology has been growing and fostering cooperation between industry, university and hospitals as growth engines in korea. So, the medibio research institutes in hospital have been constructed to promote research and industrialization centering on healthcare technology. The purpose of this study is to investigate the cases of research institutes in hospitals, and search the characteristics of building organization of medibio research laboratory facilities. Case study is investigated by floor plan, homepage and site visits about five research institutes selected in research-driven hospitals. The facility title and size of research laboratory is originated from site area and research building location. The building function include not only the research lab and business office reflecting on the development platform, and but assembly and meeting room in the ground level. Laboratory floor plans have three types, rectangular, rectangular+linear and linear type, one is traditional and efficient, the others are people and friendly. And building core types are correlated with lab space unit modules, single and double side core are shown in rectangular type. All the laboratories are open lab, composed with laboratory bench and research note writing desk facing the lab service and enclosed lab-support area. And they have communication space looking as warm and cozy common area for the innovation, convergence and collaboration. As the high risk of contamination and high standard for safety and security, equipment and facilities are well managed with biological environment including BSC, fume hood, PCR classification, eye washing and emergency shower.

  • Modern agriculture is changing from resource-oriented agriculture to technology-oriented agriculture. Agriculture, which combines science and technology, is recognized as a new growth engine, and governments, local governments, research institutes, and industry are working together to develop and disseminate various devices necessary for smart farms to build intelligent smart farms. Recently, research is being conducted to build a more intelligent agricultural environment by building a cloud platform. In this paper, we propose a plan to build an urban energy - independent smart farm that can utilize leisure time and agricultural activities by utilizing the rooftop of a city. Also, by using IT technology, various data of smart farm can be managed on remote server, and HMI module for controlling internal environment of smart farm can be developed to manage smart farm automatically or semi-automatically. The service model suggests a model that can manage the internal environment of the smart farm based on mobile.

Using Motivation of Short Video Advertising Marketing in China: An Exploratory Study of Douyin

  • This paper aims to study the using motivation and influencing factors of Chinese users' participation in live stream shopping through theoretical and empirical analysis, so as to evaluate the change in users' needs and improve marketing strategies. In doing so, I conducted a questionnaire survey for Chinese live stream shopping users and collected the required data. For empirical analysis, I used SPSS and AMOS software to carry out descriptive analysis, reliability and validity analysis and structural equation model analysis (SEM) to test the hypothesis. The results of the analysis showed that core competency and brand personality of the short video industry have a significant impact on user and customer perceived value, thus influencing users' using motivation. That is, users do not blindly follow live stream shopping but make their active choice. Therefore, it is suggested that live stream shopping platform should strengthen the e-commerce attributes and eradicate "the sense of false satisfaction", in order to achieve the effective communication of information. On the other hand, to stimulate the purchase motivation of users, the brand should build up its personality, and enhance user and customer perceived value in cyber marketing.

Analysis of digital marketing strategies of luxury fashion brands (럭셔리 패션 브랜드의 디지털 마케팅 전략 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to consider effective digital marketing strategies through analysis of luxury fashion brands. This study conducted both quantitative analysis and case studies of the brands Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, and Chanel. To measure the brand image of the luxury fashion brands, the survey was distributed to Millennials, and total of 277 responses were used for the final analysis by using SPSS 25.0 statistical program. Other than survey, this paper analyzed digital marketing strategies of luxury fashion brands through brand-related papers, website and social media of each brand, Samsung Designnet's database, and news posted on search engines. The results of this study are as follows: First, according to the result of examining brand image of luxury fashion brands, there was no significant difference between brands, except Gucci. Second, this study analyzed each luxury fashion brand to understand the characteristics of digital marketing, and common characteristics were identified. Third, by analyzing the brand image and digital marketing strategies of luxury fashion brands, it was confirmed that Gucci's brand image and digital marketing strategies were consistent, while there was a difference between Burberry's brand image and digital marketing strategy. Therefore, this article proposes the following digital marketing strategies that are suitable for luxury fashion brands. First, is the connection of on/offline channels. Second, is the use of AI technology. Third, is a blockchain-based platform.

Different Effects of Price Discounts on Game Purchase: Comparison between Single and Multi-Games (소비자들의 게임 이용에 가격할인이 미치는 영향; 싱글게임과 멀티게임 비교)

  • As the game industry grows, the companies are promoting price discounts to increase game sales and profits. Consumers generally feel guilt when they are purchasing games. Previous studies argue that consumers feel less guilty and justify their consumption more easily when they are purchasing hedonic products at discounted price. In this study, we argue that there are different types of games; multi-game where consumers socialize each other and single games not supporting socializing. In the multi-game, consumers make social relationship which can provide substantial benefits. Since multi-games are promoting consumers' socializing expected to have those benefits. Although most of game consumptions bring a sense of guilty feeling, purchasing multi-game may not cause guilt much because the benefits of socializing justify the consumption. To support my hypothesis, we collect the data from global game platform Steam to analyze the relationship between price promotion and number of consumers. As a result, price promotion has significantly different relationship between multi-and single game. The results of this study suggest several managerial implications.

  • Decentralized approaches are extensively researched by academia and industry in order to cover up the flaws of existing systems in terms of data privacy. Blockchain and decentralized learning are prominent representatives of a deconcentrated approach. Blockchain is secure by design since the data record is irrevocable, tamper-resistant, consensus-based decision making, and inexpensive of overall transactions. On the other hand, decentralized learning empowers a number of devices collectively in improving a deep learning model without exposing the dataset publicly. To motivate participants to use their resources in building models, a decent and proportional incentive system is a necessity. A centralized incentive mechanism is likely inconvenient to be adopted in decentralized learning since it relies on the middleman that still suffers from bottleneck issues. Therefore, we design an incentive model for decentralized learning applications by leveraging the Ethereum smart contract. The simulation results satisfy the design goals. We also outline the concerns in implementing the presented scheme for sensitive data regarding privacy and data leakage.

  • Recently, with the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, digital twins are emerging as an important technology that connects and integrates physical systems and cyber systems. In this article, we analyzed the major requirements of digital twins required for the construction of digital twins of power equipments in the energy field, focusing on the industry 4.0-based Asset Administration Shell(AAS). However, since not so many studies have been conducted yet on a common platform or demonstration model for implementing digital twins both domestically and internationally, digital twin requirements are analyzed with the consideration of digital twinning of power equipment in the energy field. Also, we suggested necessary procedures and specific functions of AAS to establish a smart energy digital twin in the future by analyzing the core requirements necessary for the construction and designing the AAS design for specific power equipment.
