  • 컴퓨터와 더불어 멀티미디어의 발전은 가상현실이라는 신기술을 만들어 내게 하였고 가상현실 분야중 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 기술은 항공, 자동차, 의학, 소포츠, 교육, 패션 분야에 이르기 까지 그 적용이 확대되고 있다. 본 연구는 헤어스타일링 분야에서 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션 적용을 연구하고자 한다. 기존의 2차원 헤어시뮬레이션의 개발 및 상용 현황과, 연구 단계에 있는 3차원 헤어스타일 시뮬레이션의 개발 현황을 살펴본다. 아울러 2차원 헤어시뮬레이션의 사용자를 대상으로 그 유용성에 대하여 실증조사 하였다. 조사 대상자들의 64.6%가 헤어시뮬레이션에 대하여 만족한다고 응답하였고, 50.6%가 다른 사람들에게 추천할 의사가 있다고 하였다. 또한 63.3%가 구전의사가 있다고 조사되었다.

특수기능성섬유가 성장기 운동선수의 수면 중 성장호르몬 분비에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Multi-functional Fabric on EEG and Growth Hormone Level during Sleep)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of multi-functional fabric on EEG and growth hormone (GH) during sleep and quality of sleep with the 9 young female athletes. The subjects participated in separated experimental procedure; sleeping in multi-functional fabric wear (experimental group) and cotton wear (control group) for 450min. During the night (22:00-05:30), we recorded the changes of nocturnal polysomnographic sleep recording and GH were measured every 60min. The results show that there are significant differences in percentage of stage 1, 2 and slow wave sleep (SWS) between two groups(S1, p<.05; S2, SWS, p<.01). The SWS percentage of experimental group is 1.89 times higher than control group. The changes of GH secretion varied depending on two experimental procedures. The peak of GH secretion in experimental group is more than controls by 2.4time (p<.001). The quality of sleep in experimetal group is significantly higher than control (p<.01). These results suggest muti-functional fabric wear is effective in inducing the deep sleep and increasing GH and quality of sleep.

생명공학기술적 관점에서 질병중심 중개연구의 효율적 성과분석에 대한 실증연구 (Effective Performance Analysis of Disease-oriented Translational Research from a Point of View of Biotechnology)

  • Recently, translational research (TR) in health technology (HT) has been considered as an emerging alternative research system for the improvement of human health. TR from bench to bedside involves a strong bidirectional relationship between basic science discovery and clinical practice. To support R&D planning and policy in HT effectively, the performance of TR programs was analyzed and evaluated in a R&D project on health and medical technology. TR programs were classified into three parts: unilateral TR, bilateral TR and multilateral TR. Bibliometrics and citation analysis were performed to assess research papers and gather information for the performance analysis of TR programs. In addition, both quantitative and qualitative analysis were successfully carried out using ISI Web of Science, Google Scholar Citations, SCOPUS and Knowledgematrix. In conclusion, the performance analysis of TR programs could significantly improve the efficiency of R&D plans, R&D management and evaluation for a safe and healthy life.

나노기포 산소수 및 수소수가 미세조류 배양에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Nano Bubble Oxygen and Hydrogen Water on Microalgae)

  • 미세조류 Nannochloropsis oculata (N. oculata)와 Chlorella vulgaris (C. vulgaris)는 다른 미세조류에 비해 높은 중성지질 함유량으로 인해 바이오 디젤 생산에 중요한 자원이다. 나노기포 산소수, 수소수를 이용해 만든 배지에서 미세조류를 배양하였다. N. oculata 배양 결과 세포 성장은 대조군과 비슷하였으며 지질 함량은 대조군에 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. C. vulgaris 역시 N. oculata와 비슷한 경향을 보였다. 미세조류의 광합성으로 인한 색소의 함량 변화를 알아보기 위해 클로로필과 카로티노이드 함량을 측정하였다. 클로로필 함량은 나노 기포산소수와 수소수에서 배양한 N. oculata가 대조군 보다 약 54%, 30% 증가하였으며 카로티노이드 함량은 각각 21%, 25%씩 증가함을 확인하였다. C. vulgaris의 클로로필 함량은 기포산소수와 수소수에서 대조군보다 59%, 39% 증가하였으며 카로티노이드 함량도 49%, 29% 증가하였다.

Comprehensive Analysis and Evaluation of Mobile S-MAC Protocol in Wireless Sensor Network

  • Wireless sensor networks (WSN) are becoming widely used in collecting and sensing information in different fields such as in the medical area, smart phone industry and military environment. The main concern here is reducing the power consumption because it effects in the lifetime of wireless sensor during commutation because it may be work in some environment like sensor in the battlefields where is not easy to change the battery for a node and that may decrease the efficiency of that node and that may affect the network traffic may be interrupted because one or more nodes stop working. In this paper we implement, simulate, and investigate S-MAC protocol with mobility support and show the sequence of events the sender and receiver go through. We tested some parameters and their impacts of on the performance including System throughput, number of packets successfully delivered per second, packet delay, average packet delay before successful transmission.

Discovering AI-enabled convergences based on BERT and topic network

  • Various aspects of artificial intelligence (AI) have become of significant interest to academia and industry in recent times. To satisfy these academic and industrial interests, it is necessary to comprehensively investigate trends in AI-related changes of diverse areas. In this study, we identified and predicted emerging convergences with the help of AI-associated research abstracts collected from the SCOPUS database. The bidirectional encoder representations obtained via the transformers-based topic discovery technique were subsequently deployed to identify emerging topics related to AI. The topics discovered concern edge computing, biomedical algorithms, predictive defect maintenance, medical applications, fake news detection with block chain, explainable AI and COVID-19 applications. Their convergences were further analyzed based on the shortest path between topics to predict emerging convergences. Our findings indicated emerging AI convergences towards healthcare, manufacturing, legal applications, and marketing. These findings are expected to have policy implications for facilitating the convergences in diverse industries. Potentially, this study could contribute to the exploitation and adoption of AI-enabled convergences from a practical perspective.

일반병동 간호인력 확보수준과 간호업무성과 분석 (An Analysis of Nurse Staffing Level and Nursing Performance in the General Unit)

  • Purpose: To examine the relationship between nurse staffing level and nurse perception of nursing performance. Method: The subjects of this study were 724 nurses from 70 medical or surgical wards in 23 hospitals from February to March 2006. A self-reporting questionnaire, which was developed by the researcher through a preceding study, was used. In data analysis, SAS program was utilized for descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and Tukey test. Results: The mean score of the nursing performance was 53.3. The mean of bed-to nurse ratio was 3.39:1. The study revealed a negative correlation between bed-to nurse ratio and the nurses' perception of nursing performance. There was a significant relationship between above 3.5:1 and below 2.5:1(F=4.59, p=0.010). Conclusion: We found that the higher the nurse staffing, the better the nursing performance. It is recommended that future research measures nurses' performance and nursing organizational performance using objective measurement tools including clinical indicators.

Noninformative priors for linear function of parameters in the lognormal distribution

  • This paper considers the noninformative priors for the linear function of parameters in the lognormal distribution. The lognormal distribution is applied in the various areas, such as occupational health research, environmental science, monetary units, etc. The linear function of parameters in the lognormal distribution includes the expectation, median and mode of the lognormal distribution. Thus we derive the probability matching priors and the reference priors for the linear function of parameters. Then we reveal that the derived reference priors do not satisfy a first order matching criterion. Under the general priors including the derived noninformative priors, we check the proper condition of the posterior distribution. Some numerical study under the developed priors is performed and real examples are illustrated.

미세전류 자극이 얼굴 피부개선에 미치는 영향에 관한 임상시험 연구 (Clinical Test for Evaluation of Effectiveness of the Micro-current Stimulation in Facial Skin Care)

  • This study examined the effectiveness of micro-current stimulation (MCS) to improve the facial skin qualities by performing clinical test. The MCS is generally known that provide healing response in the damaged tissue and pain relief through activating the adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and protein synthesis. In here, we can hypothesize that the improvement of facial skin qualities may occur due to MCS, since the induction of micro-current from outside may enhance the cellular activity according to ATP activation. From the clinical test, our results showed that a variety of evaluating categories, which is able to assess the skin qualities, significantly enhanced due to stimulation of micro-current after 7 and 14 days. Therefore, we can estimate that MCS in human facial skin may be effective to improve the skin qualities.

A study on the evaluation of and demand forecasting for real estate using simple additive weighting model: The case of clothing stores for babies and children in the Bundang area

  • Purpose - This study was conducted under the assumption that brand A, a store of company Z of Pangyo, with a new store at Pangyo station is targeting the Bundang-gu area of the newly developed city of Seongnam. Research design, data, methodology - As a result of demand forecasting using geometric series models, an extrapolation of past trends provided the coefficient estimates, without utilizing regression analysis on a constant increase in children's wear, for which the population size and estimated parameter were required. Results - Demand forecasting on the basis of past trends indicates the likelihood that sales of discount stores in the Bundang area, where brand A currently has a presence, would fetch a higher estimated value than that of the average discount store in the country during 2015. If past trends persist, future sales of operational stores are likely to increase. Conclusions - In evaluating location using the simple weighting model, Seohyun Lotte Mart obtained a high rating amongst new stores in Pangyo, on the basis of accessibility, demand class, and existing stores. Therefore, when opening a new counter at a relevant store, a positive effect can be predicted.
