We have done the input-output analysis to see the over all impact of flounder industry of Jeju region on the domestic economy of Korea. To do the input-output analysis, we have constructed the data set for the input-output table by using the existing data set in the "2003 input- output table of Jeju regional area" published by the joint work of Jeju branch of Korea bank and the Jeju Development Institute, together with some raw data provided by Jejudo Marine Fish-Culture Cooperative. We have also produced input coefficient of flounder industry by making flounder industrial sector exogenous, separated from intermediate demand. To summarize our empirical results, the inducement effect of production, value added, and employment of Jeju flounder aquaculture industry are 300 billion won, 116 billion won and 1,800 people respectively. In conclusion, the results of this study suggest flounder industry of Jeju region contributes powerfully to not only Jeju economy but also all over the Korea economy.

This paper has two purposes. The first is to suggest the new and simple method to derive a regional input-output model from the national input-output table published by the Bank of Korea. The interregional input-output table has not been devised in spite of its potential use while the national table has been made every five years with the revised version during each five years. Second, this paper aims to derive Kangwon interregional input-output model from the national model using the regional supply proportion of industry and to analyze the effect of medical tourism industry on the regional economy of Kangwon Province. The paper measures, in particular, the effect of medical tourism industry on the financial self-sufficiency of Kangwon Province using the estimated output elasticity of tax revenue with the autoregressive distributed lag scheme ADL(1,1) in which the dependent variable and the single explanatory variable are each lagged once.

In this study, we aimed to build the basic calculation model for linkage effects of fishery industry among Korea, China and Japan. For the calculation, we reconstructed the asian international input-output table, and on the basis of the reconstructed table, we made some analyses on the inter-relations among 3 nations focusing fishery industry. As the results, some positive backward linkage offsets of the fishery industries were found among 3 nations, and especially, production inducing effect of Chinese fishery industry to Japanese supplier was remarkable.

The Korean government pushed ahead various policies to disseminate photovoltaic (PV), wind power, small hydro, bio-fuel, etc. Renewable energy system (RES) budget of the Korean government increased from 118 billion won of 2003 to 876.6 billion won of 2010. The R&D budgetary supports for RES increased by 6.8 times in the period 2003-2010. It is necessary to confirm RES budget expenditure that renewable energy promotion policy makes good performance evaluated in quantity level. This paper made Input-Output Table 2009 contains photovoltaic power generation equipment industry as a dependent sector and analyzed induced production effect by demand of photovoltaic power generation equipment industry. From the empirical analysis result, additional demand in photovoltaic power generation equipment induced 1.932 times of induced production in Korea. Each of industry sector has positive induced production from the additional demand in photovoltaic power generation equipment. Renewable energy promotion in photovoltaic power generation is considered together with industry policy as the option to sustain economic growth.

This paper analyse the economic inducement effects of aviation industry using Input-Output Model. For measuring economic inducement effects of aviation industry on korean economy, this paper divides air transport industry as two - manufacturing industry and service industry. we also use Input-Output Table of year 1990 through 2003 from Bank of Korea. Empirical results tells that aviation manufacturing industry have high product inducement effects to national economy although its low value-added coefficient such as 0.486 for aviation manufacturing industry and 0.447 for aviation service industry. public R&D doesn't have much effect to each of aviation industries.

This study aims to analyze the International trade network of Water transport service using Social Network Analysis for defining the status of Korean Water transport industry. This study use World Input-Output Table of Asian Development Bank from 2000 to 2020 and build the International trade matrix of Water transport service from that. Therefore, this study analyze Out-degree centrality, In-degree centrality and betweenness centrality of Korea and other main countries in the matrix of World Water transport industry. As a result, Korea rank above 10th in the all centralities and the total output also rank 8th in the world, therefore, this study show the importance of Korean Water transport industry in the world. However, Singapore has the highest centrality in the world, even though China has the largest Total output among 63 countries.

This study compares economic impact between Software and Medical industry through Input Output Table by Bank of Korea. We classify Software and Medical industry by The ninth Korea Standard Industry Classification and use linkage effects, value added inducement coefficient, and labor inducement coefficient to analyze economic impact. First, software and medical industry have different linkage effects between backward and forward. Second, They have higher value added inducement coefficient than average of all industry. Third, They not only have higher labor inducement coefficient than average of all industry but also simillar effect on labor induction. According to the result of this study, software and medical industry have high economic impact on Korea economy, and therefore are intensively fostered by policy support.

본 연구는 산업연관표를 중심으로 2011년~2013년 기간의 실측표기준의 투입산출물표(Input-output Table)를 사용하여 동 기간의 국내 해외직접투자(FDI) 유입액을 한국표준산업분류(KSIC 30부문)기준으로 재분류 및 통합하여 적용한 결과 3개년 평균 국내 외국인직접투자 유입액은 15조 3,000억원이고, 평균총생산유발액은 45조 8,000억원으로 추계되었다. 국내 외국인직접투자 유입의 특징은 감응도계수 및 영향력계수가 큰 산업인 화학제품, 전기 및 전자기기, 금속제품에 편중되어 있다. 특히 중간재로 활용되는 감응도계수가 큰 산업에 국내 외국인직접투자 유치가 이루어지면 국내 경제적 산업파급효과가 큰 것으로 나타난다.

In this study, we attempt to examine the economic impacts of the CCS marine geological storage demonstration project in Korea using Input-Output analysis utilizing the inter-industry relation table issued in 2013. In particular, this study defines the $CO_2$ ocean storage industry and then added the inter-industry relation table and treated the $CO_2$ ocean storage industry as exogenous. In addition, this study assumed two scenarios based on the means of $CO_2$ transport, which are pipe and ship. After defining the industry and scenarios, this study investigates the production-inducing effect, value added inducing effect, and employment-inducing effect of the industries associated with the $CO_2$ ocean storage industry based on a demand-driven model. The results pertaining to the scenarios are estimated as follows: total production-inducing effects, value added inducing effects, and employment-inducing effects are calculated as 1.9044 won, 1.2487 won and 16.7224 people/billion won, respectively. In addition, compared to other industries, the indirect economic impacts of the $CO_2$ ocean storage industry are ranked high: the rankings of production-inducing effects, value added inducing effects, and employment-inducing effects are fourth, second, and fifth, respectively.

The purpose of this study is to analyze how much Air Transportation Industry contribute to national economy by measuring economic spreading effects of Air Transportation Industry on national economy. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study uses an Air Transportation Input-Output Table of year 2000 of korea. The results shows that Air Transportation Industry induce 274,530.8 billion won of national production, import inducement 13,7073.7 billion won, value-added 110,994.9 billion won, especially Air Transportation Industry shows that production inducement coefficient is 1.36803, import inducement coefficient is 0.60581, value-added coefficient is 0.45189, income inducement coefficient is 0.18599 and employment inducement coefficient is 0.00841.
