항고혈압 활성을 가진 식물유래 젖산균의 생균제 특성 (Probiotic Potential of Plant-Derived Lactic Acid Bacteria with Antihypertensive Activity)

  • Lactic acid bacteria (LAB) are industrially important microorganisms for probiotics. The recent widespread application of LAB for preparation of functional food is attributable to the accumulating scientific evidence showing their beneficial effects on human health. In this study, we isolated and characterized plant-derived LAB that show angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitory and antioxidant activities. The selected strain K2 was isolated from Kimchi, and identified as Lactobacillus plantarum by 16S rRNA gene analysis. The strain grew under static and shaking culture systems. They were also able to grow in different culture conditions like $25^{\circ}C{\sim}37^{\circ}C$ temperature, 4~10 pH range and ~6% NaCl concentration. L. plantarum K2 was highly resistant to acid stress; survival rate of the strain at pH 2.5 and 3 were 80% and 91.6%, respectively. The strain K2 also showed high bile resistance to 0.3% bile bovine and 0.3% bile extract with more than 74% of survival rate. The cell grown on MRS agar plate containing bile extract formed opaque precipitate zones around the colonies, indicating they have bile salt hydrolase activity. The strain showed an inhibitory activity against pathogenic bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Listeria monocytogenes; antibacterial activity was probably due to the lactic acid. The K2 strain showed relatively higher autoaggregation values, antihypertensive and antioxidant activities. These results suggest that L. plantarum K2 could be not only applied as a pharmabiotic for human health but also is also starter culture applicable to fermentative products.

Essential oil mixture on rumen fermentation and microbial community - an in vitro study

  • Objective: The objective of this study was to investigate the effects of essential oil mixture (EOM) supplementation on rumen fermentation characteristics and microbial changes in an in vitro. Methods: Three experimental treatments were used: control (CON, no additive), EOM 0.1 (supplementation of 1 g EOM/kg of substrate), and EOM 0.2 (supplementation of 2 g EOM/kg of substrate). An in vitro fermentation experiment was carried out using strained rumen fluid for 12 and 24 h incubation periods. At each time point, in vitro dry matter digestibility (IVDMD), neutral detergent fiber digestibility (IVNDFD), pH, ammonia nitrogen ($NH_3-N$), and volatile fatty acid (VFA) concentrations, and relative microbial diversity were estimated. Results: After 24 h incubation, treatments involving EOM supplementation led to significantly higher IVDMD (treatments and quadratic effect; p = 0.019 and 0.008) and IVNDFD (linear effect; p = 0.068) than did the CON treatment. The EOM 0.2 supplementation group had the highest $NH_3-N$ concentration (treatments; p = 0.032). Both EOM supplementations did not affect total VFA concentration and the proportion of individual VFAs; however, total VFA tended to increase in EOM supplementation groups, after 12 h incubation (linear; p = 0.071). Relative protozoa abundance significantly increased following EOM supplementation (treatments, p<0.001). Selenomonas ruminantium and Ruminococcus albus (treatments; p<0.001 and p = 0.005), abundance was higher in the EOM 0.1 treatment group than in CON. The abundance of Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens, fungi and Ruminococcus flavefaciens (treatments; p<0.001, p<0.001, and p = 0.005) was higher following EOM 0.2 treatment. Conclusion: The addition of newly developed EOM increased IVDMD, IVNDFD, and tended to increase total VFA indicating that it may be used as a feed additive to improve rumen fermentation by modulating rumen microbial communities. Further studies would be required to investigate the detailed metabolic mechanism underlying the effects of EOM supplementation.

산학융합지구 입주기업 정책 개선방안 연구 (Study on Policy Improvement Measures for Companies Residing in Industry-academia Convergence zone)

  • 본 연구는 정부가 지정한 산학융합지구에 입주한 기업이 사업 정책 목표를 달성하고 있는지를 검증하고 분석을 통해 시사점을 도출하여 정책개선 방향을 모색해 보고자 하는데 있다. 연구를 위해 입주기업을 대상으로 하는 사업 활동을 인프라, 사업내용과 프로그램, 관리 및 제도 측면으로 나누어 사업성과지표, 입주기업 만족도 설문, 입주기업과 비입주기업 간 매출액증가 차이를 t-검증을 통해 분석하였다. 산학융합지구 입주기업을 대상으로 t-검증 분석 결과 입주기업과 비입주기업 간 입주 전후 매출액증가 차이에 대해 유의수준 10%에서 통계적 유의성을 확인하였다. 통계분석 결과와 성과지표, 기업대상 설문조사 분석 결과를 바탕으로 입주기업을 대상으로 정책적 효과 극대화를 위해 산학 공동 R&D 과제 트랙 마련, 연구원 대상 맞춤형 엔지니어 육성 과정 개발과 운영, 광역 지방자치단체의 조례에 재정지원 명문화, 기업연구관의 편의시설과 연구원 정주 환경 개선 등의 정책개선 방향을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 정부 대형 국책사업인 산학융합지구 입주기업을 대상으로 정책 성과에 대해 정량적으로 검증한 첫 연구로 향후 고용지표, 기업의 재정지표 등 다양한 변수에 의한 정책효과 분석 등 후속 연구가 필요하다.

1,2,3-Trichloropropane으로 유도된 SD랫드의 간독성에서 ER 스트레스 반응의 조절 (Regulation of ER Stress Response on 1,2,3-Trichloropropane-Induced Hepatotoxicity of Sprague Dawley Rats)

  • ER (Endoplasmic reticulume) 스트레스반응은 difenoconazole 등과 같은 다양한 독성물질에 의한 독성반응 동안에 유도되지만, 농업 및 산업에서 전반적으로 사용되는 화학물질로 간독성(Hepatotoxicity)을 유도하는 1,2,3-Trichloropropane (TCP)와의 연관성은 연구된 바 없다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 TCP처리로 유발된 간독성(Hepatotoxicity) 유발과정 동안에 ER스트레스의 유발기전에 대해 연구하기 위하여, TCP로 처리된 SD(Sprague Dawley)랫드에서 간독성, apoptosis 그리고 ER스트레스에 대한 지표들의 변화를 분석하였다. 그 결과, TCP 처리그룹은 Vehicle 처리그룹에 비하여 체중과 식이 섭취량이 감소하였고, 간 조직에서 괴사(Necrosis)와 공포화(Vaculation) 등이 유의적으로 증가하였다. 또한, apoptosis 관련 인자인 Bax/Bcl-2와 Cleaved Caspase-3(Cas-3)/Cas-3의 발현은 Vehicle 처리그룹보다 TCP 처리그룹에서 유의적으로 증가하였다. ER스트레스 반응지표 분석에서, C/EBP homologous protein (CHOP), p-eukaryotic translation initiation factor 2 alpha subunit (eIF2α), p-iniositor-requiring enzyme 1α (IRE1α)의 발현은 TCP100 처리그룹에서만 증가하였다. 하지만 Growth arrest and DNA damage-34 (GADD34)와 X-box binding protein-1 (XBP1)의 전사는 TCP200 처리그룹에서 유의적으로 변화되었다. 따라서, 이러한 결과는 ER스트레스반응은 TCP 처리에 의해 유도된 간독성과정 동안에 unfolded protein response (UPR) pathway의 조절을 통해 성공적으로 유도됨을 제시하고 있다.

  • 본 연구는 이러닝의 학습효과 및 만족도에 대한 한계가 대두되고, 이러닝 산업의 구조적 모순이 지속됨에 따라 이를 해결하기 위한 정책적 대안을 제시하고자 수행되었다. 이러닝의 한계의 극복과 이러닝 산업의 건전한 성장을 위한 수단으로서 이러닝에서의 빅데이터 적용 방안을 제시하고, 이에 대한 정책 실천과제를 제안하였다. 정책 실천과제로서 첫째, 기술개발 지원, 둘째, 전문인력 양성, 셋째, 중소기업 보급 지원, 넷째, 법/제도 개선을 꼽고 이에 대한 체계적 추진을 제언하였다.

Analysis on Types of Golf Tourism After COVID-19 by using Big Data

  • Introduction. In this study, purpose is to analize the types of golf tourism, inbound or outbound, by using big data and see how movement of industry is being changed and what changes have been made during and after Covid-19 in golf industry. Method Using Textom, a big data analysis tool, "golf tourism" and "Covid-19" were selected as keywords, and search frequency information of Naver and Daum was collected for a year from 1 st January, 2023 to 31st December, 2023, and data preprocessing was conducted based on this. For the suitability of the study and more accurate data, data not related to "golf tourism" was removed through the refining process, and similar keywords were grouped into the same keyword to perform analysis. As a result of the word refining process, top 36 keywords with the highest relevance and search frequency were selected and applied to this study. The top 36 keywords derived through word purification were subjected to TF-IDF analysis, visualization analysis using Ucinet6 and NetDraw programs, network analysis between keywords, and cluster analysis between each keyword through Concor analysis. Results By using big data analysis, it was found out option of oversea golf tourism is affecting on inbound golf travel. "Golf", "Tourism", "Vietnam", "Thailand" showed high frequencies, which proves that oversea golf tour is now the re-coming trends.

국내 임베디드 기업의 기술성과에 미치는 영향요인과 정부지원의 조절효과 (An Empirical Study on the Influencing Factors on the Technology Performance in the Embedded Firms and The Moderating Effect of Government Support)

  • Embedded industry has emerged as one of the important industry for u-IT based application service. Technology development related to embedded hardware and software provides the base for the development of U-IT convergence industry. This study intends to suggest a research model to investigate the influence of industry, organization, technology factors on technology performance in the embedded companies. This study adopted research variables such as global network, local network, industry intensity, and technology capability as independent variables, with technology performance as a dependent variable from the existing literatures. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of industrial and organizational factors on technology performance of embedded companies SCM systems, including the moderating effect of government support. 94 companies data were collected by survey. The result of this empirical study is summarized as follows. First, local network and technology capability are the important determinants to influence technology performance of embedded companies in direct effect model. Second, global network and industry intensity has more positive influence on technology performance of embedded companies through a moderating variable of government support.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 문화콘텐츠 산업의 활성화를 위해 대학생들을 대상으로 문화콘텐츠 산업에 관한 인식과 향후 발전방향을 살펴보는데 있다. 더불어 공연장 안정 및 보안 산업의 필요성을 찾아보고자 한다. 최근 세계적으로 극장 및 공연장, 경기장 등 문화공간에서 불특정 민간인을 대상으로 '소프트 타깃' 테러가 발생하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라의 경우 이에 대비한 보안 및 안전시스템이 매우 부족한 상황이다. 미국의 보안시장은 범죄 및 테러 방지에 대한 관심이 증가하고 기술발전과 가격인하에 따라 매출액이 크게 증가하고 있다. 국내 대중음악 및 연극 공연과 인터넷 및 모바일 게임 등 문화콘텐츠산업이 발달하기 위해서는 다양한 분야에서 보안 산업이 필요할 것으로 기대된다.

공학교육에서의 팀티칭기반 융합프로젝트중심 교수학습모형의 개발 (Teaching-Learning Model of Convergence Project Based on Team Teaching in Engineering Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a teaching-learning model of convergence project based on team teaching. Based on development research methodology which explored a university case, the teaching-learning model was developed including three phases such as preparation, planning, and implementation & evaluation. The preparation phase has three steps as follows: to organize team teaching faculty; to develop convergence projects cooperated by industry and university; and to design instructions based on supporting convergence projects. The last step of preparation phase consists of five design activities of: (1) instructions and teaching contents; (2) communication channel among faculty members; (3) feedback system on students' performance; (4) tools to support learners' activity; and (5) evaluation system. The planning phase has two steps to analyze learners and to introduce and modify instruction and themes of convergence projects. The implementation & evaluation phase includes five steps as bellow: (1) to organize project teams and match teams with faculty members; (2) to do team building and assign duties to students of a team; (3) to provide instruction and consulting to teams; (4) to help teams to conduct projects through creative problem solving; and (5) to design mid-term/final presentation and evaluation. Lastly, the research implications and limitations were discussed for future studies.
