  • 모바일 서비스는 공급사슬의 모든 단계와 연관되어 있는데, 특히 재고 주문관리, 주문 충족, 구매, 물류와 모니터링 분야와 밀접히 관련시켜 볼 수 있다. 기본적으로 모바일 서비스의 핵심은 참가자들 간에 정보의 공유로서 이를 통해서 공급사슬의 지각과 반응의 효율을 높일 수 있다. 모바일 서비스의 장점은 편재성(ubiquity), 속도, 추적, 위치확인, 개인화와 안전성에 있다. 공급사슬의 3가지 중요한 요소는 속도, 변화 및 가시성을 들 수 있는데, 모바일 서비스는 이 세가지 분야를 충족시킬 수 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 모바일 서비스를 이용해서 wireless 공급 웹을 모델링 하고자 한다. 재고관리, 원격 진단, 현장 작업자와의 통신, 추적과 모니터링을 포함한 고객요구 충족, 재고의 가시성, 실시간 shop floor data collection, 자산 추적 및 창고관리분야에 적용가능한 고객중심의 공급 웹을 모델링하고 RFID를 이용해서 창고관리 문제에 대한 프로토타입을 제시하고자 한다.

  • When the wireless PKI is applied to 3G/4G mobile network which requires mutual authentication among all entities, the wired PKI procedure is not feasible for validating visited network's certifications because of the wireless environmental limitations. Also, if we depend on WAP based PKI, we cannot support confidence about certification validation since the information offered from visited network is not authenticated. Therefore, in this paper we consider various and unique characteristics of mobile environment for certification validation at 3G/4G mobile networks based on wireless PKI and then propose two certification validation procedures.

  • FieldBus communication systems in industrial wired and wireless network may cause the degradation of the TCP performance due to the racket loss. TCP is particularly targeted at the wired networks, a packet loss is assumed to be caused by the network congestion. As a result, the performance of TCP decreases significantly when used over networks that exhibit a high bit error rate. In order to solve this problem, this paper designs and implements the WFSnoop mechanism which offers a fast local retransmission. The proposed mechanism does not require any changes in customer premises. Base on the simulation in the wired and wireless network environment, we analyzed the performance of the WFSnoop mechanism.

  • Recently, there have been intensive researches on the wireless Internet access through WiFi WLAN using WiRro network as backhaul link in the Internet service providing business area. However, in the wireless Internet access method, we need to solve the compatibility problem for different user authentications between licensed WiBro network and unlicensed WiFi network for billing and user management. In this paper, we propose an authentication method for WiFi users by BWAN operators through WiNNERs which is RS connecting the two networks, and discuss the effectiveness of the method.

  • In this paper, it is analyzed propagation distribution characteristics of radio wave, which is radiated on all sides from Access Point device for estimating scheme of wireless AP without GPS receiver environment. To tracking AP device is traced from wireless terminals and wireless terminal is traced from fixed AP devices, above all it is important to analysis the characteristics of receiving power in according to distance. Therefore in this paper, radio propagation characteristics of 2.4GHz wave is analyzed effect extent and quality in according to distance in doors and out doors, and utilized to location estimation.

  • In industrial wireless sensor networks, many applications require integrated QoS supporting. This paper proposes a reliable protocol for real-time monitoring in industrial wireless sensor networks. Retransmission is well-known to recover the transmission failure, however, this might cause the time delay to violate the real-time requirement. The proposed protocol exploits broadcasting feature of wireless networks and the temporal opportunity concept. The opportunities to relay the data packets are shared by the broadcasting feature and the temporal opportunity concept maximize the number of candidates in communication. Simulation results show that the proposed protocol is superior to the existing real-time protocols in term of real-time service and reliability.

  • As wireless and mobile technologies have advanced significantly, lots of large sized healthcare organizations have implemented so called mobile hospital (m-Hospital) which provides a location independent and point of care (POC) clinical environment. Implementation of m-Hospital enhances quality of care because health professionals such as physicians and nurses can use hospital information systems at the very place where patients are located without any delay. This paper presents a real-time patient monitoring system based on wireless network technologies. A general framework for the patient monitoring process is introduced and the architecture and components of the proposed monitoring system is described. The system collects and analyzes biometric signals of in-patients who suffer from cancer. Specifically, it continuously monitors oxygen saturation of patients in bed and alarms health professionals instantly when an abnormal status of the patient is detected. The monitoring system has been used and clinically verified in a university hospital.

  • In this paper, we extracted relevant patent data and conducted statistical analysis to understand the technical development trend related to Wireless Power Transfer (WPT) for Light Rail Transit (LRT). Recently, with the development of WPT technologies, the Light Rail Transit (LRT) industry is concentrating on applying WPT to the power supply system of trains because of their advantages compared wired counterpart, such as low maintenance cost and high stability. This technology is divided into three areas: wireless feeding and collecting technology, high-frequency power converter technology and orbital and infrastructure technology. From each specific area, key words in patent document were extracted by TF-IDF method and analyzed by social network. In the keyword network, core word of each specific technology were extracted according to their degree centrality. Then, the multi-word phrases were also built to represent the concept of core technologies. Finally, based on the analysis results, the development strategies for each specifics technical area of WPT in LRT filed will be provided.

  • Zigbee wireless communication technology has features which are low cost, low power and coping ability against a high delay time when the automatic wireless system is manufactured. Therefore, in this paper, we research a method improving the data transmission reliability of the industrial equipment control and management system using zigbee wireless communication technology. we used a convolutional code with code rate R=1/2, constraint K=5 and generation polynomial constant g1=(10111) and g2=(10011) as a reliability method. From the transmission simulation at LOS environment, we are able to predict the transmission error performance according to the distance difference. Furthermore, At the PER performance analysis, we can get the result that this system reliability with convolutional code is improved about 5 times than the existing system. From these results, we can prove that the convolutional code is the solution to improve the system reliability of the industrial equipment control and management system using zigbee wireless communication technology.

  • In recent, ISM (Industrial Scientific Medical) band that is 2.4GHz band authorized free of charge is being widely used for smart phone, notebook computer, printer and portable multimedia devices. Accordingly, studies have been continuously conducted on the possibility of coexistence among nodes using ISM band. In particular, the interference of IEEE 802.11b based Wi-Fi device using overlapping channel during communication among IEEE 802.15.4 based wireless sensor nodes suitable for low-power, low-speed communication using ISM band causes serious network performance deterioration of wireless sensor networks. This paper examined a method of identifying channel status to avoid interference among wireless communication devices using IEEE 802.11b (Wi-Fi) and other ISM bands during communication among IEEE 802.15.4 based wireless sensor network nodes in ISM band. To identify channels occupied by Wi-Fi traffic, various studies are being conducted that use the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) value of interference signal obtained through ED (Energy Detection) feature that is one of IEEE 802.15.4 transmitter characteristics. This paper examines an algorithm that identifies the possibility of using more accurate channel by mixing utilization of interference signal and RSSI mean value of interference signal by wireless sensor network nodes. In addition, it verifies such algorithm by using OPNET Network verification simulator.
