  • This paper is to develop a network reorganization method to consider the constraints which are turn restrictions, U-turns, and P-turns in two way traffic network for Intelligent Transport System(ITS). Several kinds of traffic constraints can be represented in reorganized network using virtual nodes and arc values. The evolution program is also developed to search the multiple shortest paths in this reorganized traffic network within limited time.

FactoryCAD를 이용한 보일러 제조업체의 설비배치 사례연구 (A Case Study on the Facilities Layout with FactoryCAD in a Boiler Factory)

  • This paper deals with a case study on the process improvement and the layout design of a boiler factory with FactoryCAD. Firstly, two alternatives of job reallocation are suggested with the understanding of problems in current process. The layout planning for these new alternatives is carried out by simple procedure and the detailed analyses are performed by the aid of FactoryCAD program. The result shows that the new layout plan brings on about 10% reduction of travel distance. The utilization of FactoryCAD program can simplify the process of layout design.

  • In this paper, we implement a place information system for missing children using embedded board. In the implementation, the embedded board receives location information from GPS satellites, parsing GGA information which includes current time and location coordinates from the satellite information and sends them to the location management server. The server locates a missing child using the location information from embedded board together with server database. We implement an application program for the system. The program shows current location of a child and its moving path and browses the corresponding map from coordinates mapping.

  • When machining of a free-form surface with a ball endmill it is very important to select proper cutting conditions considering the geometrical shape of a workpiece to make the production more effective and reduce the machining time. Even though the same cutting conditions and materials are used, the cutting system of different geometry part machining shows the different static/dynamic characteristics. In this study, through various cutting experiments, we can construct the data base of stable cutting conditions for the machining of a Zine Alloy. We can get some relational plots between the optimal feedrates and classified shape features and parameters. On the basis of these results, we can develop the feedrate optimization program OptiCode. The developed program make it possible to reduce the cutting time and increase the machining accuracies.

민.군 협력에 의한 중.장기 국방 표준화 로드맵 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of Mid and Long-term Roadmap of National Defense Standardization by the Commercial and Military Collaboration)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a mid and long-term roadmap for "Commercial and Military Collaboration Standardization(CMCS) program." We developed three layer's roadmap through systematical process. The roadmap is composed of four targets, eight projects and forty-six tasks. To evaluate the quality of the roadmap, we applied checklist method and statistical analysis. Consequently, the quality is positive and it shows that the roadmap could apply for CMCS program. In addition, it is expected to contribute to the standardization between military supplies and commercial products.

  • Recent earthquakes have shown that near-field earthquakes can produce spectral demands significantly larger than those considered in current design code. International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has recently initiated a coordinated research program on safety significance of near-field earthquakes. The purpose of this program is to focus on the assessment of vulnerability of nuclear facility structures by using and adapting the best available engineering practices appropriate to evaluate the effects of near-field earthquakes. The objective of this paper is to evaluate of seismic responses of a shear building test specimen subjected to near-filed earthquakes. To achieve the objective, the seismic responses of the test specimen, evaluated by the Displacement Coefficient Method (DCM) and Nonlinear Dynamic Analysis (NDA), are compared with those by the experimental tests.

  • SNMP is a standard protocol for management of networking devices. Nowadays, most computer systems have capability to act as SNMP agents. In this paper, we describe our system monitoring software based on SNMP. It consists of a monitoring server, SNMP agents, and client programs. The monitoring server collects status information from the SNMP agents running on the monitoring target graphical display. We developed two version of clients, Java based standalone program and Web based program. Since most known SNMP packages are too big and heavy, we developed an efficient version of SNMP library for out system monitoring.

절삭조건을 고려한 공작물의 표면조도 해석 (Analysis on the Surface Roughness in Workpiece Considering Cutting Conditions)

  • To satisfy the requirement for the precision and productivity of machine tools, we need the technique to predict the surface roughness of workpiece under various cutting conditions. The surface roughness is mainly influenced by the ideal roughness i. e., the roughness by feeding quantity and geometry of the tool. In this paper, the surface roughness is divided into three zones and the mathematical models of the three zones are obtained, in consideration of the feeding conditions and tool geometry. Using the mathematical models, we developed a program to calculate the maximum feeding quantity satisfying the required surface roughness of the workpiece. The program is used to calculate the maximum feed for two kinds of the bites used under the real cutting condition.

  • There are many difficult problems in analyzing the flow characteristics in a high voltage circuit breaker such as shock wave and complex geometries, which may be either static or in relative motion. Although a variety of mesh generation techniques are now available, the generation of meshes around complicated, multi-component geometries like a gas circuit breaker is still a tedious and difficult task for the computational fluid dynamics. This paper presents the CFD program for analyzing the compressible flow fields in a high voltage gas circuit breaker using the Cartesian cut-cell method based on the CFD-CAD integration, which can achieve the accurate representation of the geometry designed by a CAD tools. This technique is frequently satisfied, and it will be almost universally so in the future, as the CFD-CAD traffic increase.

창업지원사업의 창업성과에 미치는 효과 실증 연구 (An Empirical Study on the Effect of Laboratory Start-up Support Projects on Start-up Performance)

  • This research aims to validate the effectiveness of the "Specialized Entrepreneurship University Program," which was conducted as part of government entrepreneurship support initiatives from 2018 to 2022. Based on previous studies, a research model was derived consisting of three laboratory entrepreneurship support factors that influence program satisfaction and entrepreneurial outcomes (infrastructure support, educational mentoring support, and business linkage support). Surveys were collected and analyzed from 126 laboratory entrepreneurship firms participating in the program, and empirical analysis of the research model was conducted using SPSS 23.0 statistical software. The analysis results indicated that the three variables, namely infrastructure support, educational mentoring support, and business linkage support, were significant factors affecting program satisfaction, and program satisfaction was confirmed to influence entrepreneurial outcomes. Furthermore, it was found that the three business operation factors indirectly influenced entrepreneurial outcomes by partially mediating program satisfaction. This study is considered significant as an empirical study for the initial stage of the second-phase program enhancement, verifying the effectiveness of laboratory entrepreneurship support factors. The findings can be applied to similar government entrepreneurship support initiatives and contribute to the effective strategy and planning of stakeholders involved. The limitations of this study include the need for further research on the perception of the extent to which it contributes to entrepreneurial outcomes, emphasizing caution in interpreting the research model, and the necessity for expanding the survey population and improving survey items in future research.
