This study will analyze the economic impact on villages adjacent to recreational areas in natural forests with the goal of creating a forest development plan. The area of study has been limited to the National Natural Recreation Forest and the twelve adjacent villages around the area. The collected data used a SPSS. 12.0 frequency and cross, t-test and ANOVA analysis was performed. To questions regarding increase in income and employment due to recreational areas in natural forests, there were some in all three areas that responded that it did not contribute to increases in income or employment. In all areas, there were respondents who think that these recreational areas do not help increase awareness of their nearby towns. Facilities, in order from most used to least used were tourist sites, lodgings and then food and meals. The level of satisfaction of customers in all areas was low with reasons being low quality of goods, not knowing the village(s) well, a lack of specialty items, and poor roads. In conclusion, this study presents a development plan based on the derived research results.
Purpose - Competition among cities around the world are rapidly shifting from competition of production factors such as labor costs and quality of raw materials to competition between the consumption factors such as quality of life, settlement environment, culture, and place. The entry into the era of competition between consumption factors is not only attracting investment for strengthening city competitiveness, but also actively inducing urban image reconstruction and new image making. Therefore, various studies related to urban marketing are being carried out. The object of this study is to investigate the effect of city brand image on city brand recognition and city loyalty based on the questionnaire of external citizens about Changwon city. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected from 200 Seoul and Busan citizens. Reliability and exploratory factor analysis were conducted through the SPSS program, and confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling were conducted by using the AMOS program. Results - As a result of the hypothesis test, six hypotheses were adopted among the nine hypotheses. In summary, pleasant image, dynamic image, and good administrative image have a significant positive impact on city brand recognition. The magnanimous image did not have a significant effect on city brand recognition. In the impact of city brand image on city loyalty, magnanimous image and good administrative image had significant positive impact on city loyalty. Pleasant images and dynamic images did not significantly affect city loyalty. In addition, city brand recognition positively influenced city loyalty. Conclusions - First, it is possible to say that there is an academic significance of this research in its contribution to regional revitalization by investigating mutual influences in urban aspect by combining place marketing with image, recognition, and loyalty. Secondly, kinetic images such as pleasant image and dynamic image have more influence on recognition, and static images such as magnanimous images have more influence on loyalty. So, further research will be necessary to establish theories. Finally, In order to increase city brand recognition and city loyalty to local city, efforts should be made to improve urban images such as pleasant image, magnanimous image, dynamic image, and good administrative image.
Namdaemun Market is located in the heart of history and has the volume and the budget for nearly half of the total Namdaemun. But it has been undergoing the crisis of stagnation without reviving the merit of only the 'jewelry' wholesale industrial cluster in the nation. The purposes of this study were that analyzed the status and design of jewelry in Namdaemun and identified the characteristics of successful domestic jewelery brands and then the revitalized the way of the Namdaemun jewelry industry. Problems being currently facing the Namdaemun jewelry shopping are most likely caused by products' design did not respond to changes quickly, while China's jewelry products are in leaps of the quality and the affordable jewelry market in Korea has lost the large number of the customers by china's cheap jewelry products. The most feature of successful domestic jewelry companies, Red Eye, Naughty Cat and Jackie Moon. put the most effort to unique design development and then constantly develope new designs to meet the diverse needs of consumers. It is a conclusion that the Namdaemun jewelry market need to produced under the name of brand not by the traditional whole sale market style. Development unique jewelry brand requires a high-end commercial strategy of the logo, packaging and interior. The high-end quality require for the advanced designs as well as the study of new materials needed for the advanced materials.

It has already been two decades or more ever since the shipping and its related industries began to mature in advanced shipping countries. During that period, such countries have made various attempts for the survival of the industries. The advent of the so-called flags of convenience in a big way for the purpose of replacing crew members of their own expensive seamen by those of developing countries and the emergence of ship management companies, which are literally engaged in the management of ships, are the results of such movements. Some countries have been making efforts, as measures for the continued existence of the maritime industries, to create new marine-related businesses without regard to the traditional concepts of the industries. The movement toward the restructuring of a maritime society in Norway is well known as a typical example of such endeavors. The business of marine consultancy relating to maritime safety management field in our country is also a business that came into existence in such a stream toward the revitalization of the maritime society. In this paper, as well as placing in focus the current picture and problems of marine industries in our country, we would like to present approaches to tackle these problems employed by advanced industrial nations in the West, that is, moves toward the revival of maritime communities. Next, we propose, as one of the answers to solve such problems, the further development of a consulting business which takes advantage of simulators. Lastly, we show specific examples of application of a simulator to the consulting business, while commenting on the effects of its use.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the problem of installing VR theme park in Korea and to find a solution for it. VR is expected to play a leading role in the fourth industrial revolution as a new industry, but it is a reality that it is hard to feel its value in actual field. This is a reality that can not move one step further because it is trapped in the existing legal network rather than the essence of VR because it sees VR from the existing law frame. Because VR is regarded as an amusement device in the amusement facility and is regarded as a game, the former is applied to the Tourism Promotion Law and the latter is applied to the game industry law. When one content and hardware are applied to both laws at the same time and other regulations are applied to it, it is practically impossible to operate VR properly. In order to solve this problem, it is necessary to revise each law little by little in each law and amend the law that can apply VR itself. This study is expected to contribute to the revitalization of VR industry by presenting the ultimate problems and solutions in creating VR theme parks in Korea.

The creation of value and the enhancement of benefits through records management by enterprises are comparable to those by public institutions. However, Korea has yet to establish guidelines on corporate records management. Global companies are strengthening their competitiveness by reducing trial and error in their work through the accumulation and use of records as information assets, which serve as the output of their work processes. While Korean companies agree on the necessity of corporate records management, most of them are concerned with archival (noncurrent records) management, such as historical compilation and historical data management, rather than records (current record) management. Therefore, through a case study of a K-company with effective records management, this study identifies methods to promote the accumulation, use, and management of corporate records in line with the search of value and benefits. Moreover, the company emphasizes the management of corporate records as a big data platform that accumulates and uses data, which is an important resource in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and proposes measures for their revitalization.
Since the Korean War, starvation and severly desperate living conditions hit the whole country. However, Koreans finally overcame such difficulties, achieving the miracle on the Han River. Through rapid industrial developments, Korea would not need any more supports from the outside but rather became a country which would offer a support. Meanwhile, in 1997, the Korean domestic economy underwent IMF which had caused a massive number of unemployeds. Among those people, many began to show interest in D.I.Y woodcraft for a whole new change and eventually, the industry of D.I.Y woodcraft business became expanded. Now, Korea survived I.M.F and was grown as one of the leading countries in the world, having held the G20 summit conference. Such achievements helped national income increased with the domestic GNP of $30,000, having exceeded $20,000. The population also grew to over fifty million and with all these factors, Korea joined the ranks of advanced countries. As a living environment of an individual gets improved and people have had time on their sides due to the five-day workweek, many have been taking this opportunity to engage in self-development and leisure activities. As trends are pursuing eco-friendliness and D.I.Y, D.I.Y woodcraft workshops are opening nationwide. Considering this, as analyzing present conditions of D.I.Y woodcraft workshops, which are being quickly popular at this moment in Korea, this study focuses on presenting a Korean-style D.I.Y woodcraft workshop, suggesting how to promote D.I.Y woodcraft business to be a pivot of the furniture industry in Korea.
The high-tech computer technology developments have greatly affected the area of design education. Starting from the mid 80s, innovations in visual presentation methods have heightened with 2D computer graphic programs, CAD & 3D modeling, and Rapid Prototype that allows dimensional generation. The specialty and quality in design studio education have advanced due to the development in presentation methods such as Power Point and Keynote. But there are many problems with the current method of presenting the visual outcome in a data format using beam projectors, which is a vertical presenting method compared to the old studio study method of conducting discussions and reviews based on the substantial outcome. The essence of studio study that allows for comparisons and analysis by horizontally opening up the various work outcomes is being offset. Also the requirement for manual idea sketching work that plays an important role in the initial design phase continuing to decrease due to the digital working process dependence and cumbersome procedures in the presentation. In order to resolve this problem, the CALM system (Class Applied LCD Modular System) has been developed that replaces the method of attaching the sketches or renderings on the wall with a digital multi-display system. In a nutshell, individuals will upload the outcomes online and display them on the CALM system studio that is composed of 32 LCD (Columns: 4 $\times$ Rows: 8) monitors that are 19 inches in size so that various personnel can openly study the design outcomes. Therefore, this study analyzed the trends of the K-Beauty beauty industry, the latest cosmetics industry trends, and previous studies and reports related to global competitiveness with the purpose of suggesting a direction to develop into a promising industry with future value needs and competitiveness of consumers. First, it is necessary to induce the demonstration of social and economic value as an export-beneficial industry by enabling division of roles between industries and governments by sector based on innovation and creativity. Second, it is expected to succeed only when beauty and IT are fused to form and expand an innovation network. Finally, if legal and institutional improvements are preceded to solve the task of creating new jobs and fostering professionals that meet the goals of industrial development, it will be possible to strategize the revitalization of the future-oriented K-Beauty beauty industry.
