This study exmines an assessment of research parks in developed countries, focusing on points of quantitative and qualitative information on the parks described. including the impetus for their development; their corporate structures/relationships to the universities; their stage of development ; their research emphasis; their source of funding. Also a similar assessment has been made for the research parks developed and planned in Korea. It has been found that the research park in Korea is very requsite in many points of view but problematic issue. Based on these analysis, it is suggested that a proper model of research park in Korea is small size and university initiatives. In developing research parks in Korea, emphasis has been made mainly on incubation of start-up high technology companies, but emphasis should be made equally on advancement of existing technology for industries.

In this study, we propose the guideline with strategic model for new product development. To establish the guideline, 1) we classify several types of successful surveyed cases that achieved open innovation through applying crowdsourcing into new product development environment, 2) draw case maps using two or three axis with characteristics such as: step of product development process, crowdsourcing frequency, and product type of each case, 3) define the type of applying crowdsourcing into new product development environment based on case analysis results, and tabulate a crowdsourcing type based on the defined crowdsourcing type, 4) finally, suggest the guideline with multiple points of view which embrace type of crowd, community management, participation method, knowledge adoption method, and reward policy. Using the suggested guideline will help a company to design and establish open innovation in new business model related to product development area.

This study was performed to propose a development guide for the periphery of local industrial park in the region of Hongseng-gun located at the mid-west of Chungnam province., which is a representative agrarian society, has been approached to a super-aged society where the region shows a continuous decrease in population, and the composition ratio of old ages is about 17.1%. Also, the region is a period of a low ebb due to the traditional agriculture based industrial structure in producing mainly simple productions. Many local governments in agrarian and fishing regions have been efforted for luring some businesses in their regions by constructing industrial complex competitively in order to solve such structural problems in such local regions. However, in some cases, these efforts cause certain destructions in the local original natural environment due to such development of industrial complex and the decrease in the settlement environment of residents. The objective of this study is to establish a local development plan for building the sustainable and comfortable settlement environments based on the settlement of the residents and the labors in such industrial complex by preventing sprawl developments in the construction of general industrial complex. This study was processed as following procedures. First, this study drew the trend in the change of the local society of H-gun through collecting literatures and analyzing it. Second, this study proposed a proper level of settlement environments required to the development of surroundings in such industrial complex based on the survey of the consciousness of residents using a statistical method. Finally, this study proposed a development guide for the surroundings based on the proposed level of settlement environments.

In the course of the 20th century, a separation of industrial and residential areas issued several urban problems due to the industrialization, also new industry growth needed mixed-use industrial park. Also, necessity to make up sustainable industrial complex is emphasized. This paper attempts to make a conceptual understanding on mixed-use industrial park through the theoretical background, and chose planning elements through precedent studies and expert FGI. The analysis framework drawn from precedent studies and theories, implications were drawn from domestic and foreign case studies's actual conditions and comparison. With these Contents, there is meaning of study that projected sustainable mixed-used industrial park's plan direction to be formed in domestic hereafter.

Yellow mealworms (Tenebrio molitor Linnaeus) are very promising insects for the food and feed industry. Because mealworms are in the spotlight as an alternative protein source in the future, it is necessary to develop efficient rearing techniques for mass production. To evaluate the effects of brewer's yeast (BY) on the growth of mealworms, Tenebrio molitor Linnaeus, the mealworms were fed with wheat bran (WB) diets containing different levels of BY (0, 10, 30, 50, and 70%). Larval survival, larval weight, development time, pupal weight and eclosion rate were monitored for 12 weeks. The results showed that mealworms fed on the diets containing 30% and 50% of BY have significantly higher weight gain, specific growth rate and daily weight gain, and lower larval duration than fed the control diet (100% WB) and other BY diets (10% and 70% BY). Larval survival on the diets containing 30% and 50% of BY was higher than on control diet. Pupal weight and eclosion rate were not significantly different among all diets. In conclusion, we suggest feeding the diet containing 30% of brewer's yeast with wheat bran in order to increase the production of mealworms.

The Daehwangjam has excellent marketability and quality. However, precise silkworm breeding data on the recent high-temperature environment is not enough collected, and it is necessary to check whether stable Daewhangjam silkworm egg production was possible in poor environments. In this study, the timing of metamorphosis of the Daewhangjam parents Jam323 and Jam324 silkworms, in an optimal condition and a general condition similar to breeding grounds, was investigated to confirm that appropriate mating was achieved. Surprisingly, a number of female moths were discarded due to the metamorphosis of Jam324 female moths much earlier than Jam323 male moths in either an optimal or a general condition. To improve this, during the Jam324 female pupation period, the mild low-temperature of 15℃ was treated for the pupation period to delay the metamorphosis into female moths. Depending on the treatment period, the metamorphosis of the female pupa was delayed by more than 4 days, allowing normal mating with the Jam323 male moth. The eye pigments in a pupa also slowly accumulated in these treatments. In order to discover the side effects of low-temperature treatments, the voltinism of the Daewhangjam eggs was investigated, but most of them remained univoltine. Taken together, the low-temperature treatment during the female pupation period made it possible to use Jam324 female moths that were should be discarded, which means that stable and efficient management of Daewhangjam egg production is possible.

The rise of crowdsourcing and web 2.0 opens plenty of opportunities for companies who want to exploit external sources of ideas for internal innovation. Utilization of crowdsourcing for product design and development has been attracting the attention of both enterprises and researchers. Many cases of implementation of crowdsourcing for product design and development such as: Threadless, FIAT Mio, Lego online Factory, etc., have made crowdsourcing a promising alternative source of innovative power. Although crowdsourcing gained access due to improved Internet access and web 2.0, it is little understood how the crowd, with respect to participation, behaves for any crowdsourcing project. To investigate this, we conducted an experiment on a real crowd of engineering related individuals to figure out the crowd participation pattern for various product design and development phases of a new product development project. The experiment results give a quantitative view of the participation of the crowd (i.e., crowd participation pattern) in various phases of a product design and development process that utilizes crowdsourcing, provide a practical guidance for companies to harness the power of the crowd sensibly, and provide experimental data for further research in this field.

Purpose - The development of Anhui high-tech industry is the key to transforming the mode of economic development and optimizing the industrial structure. Research design, data, and methodology - The data of paper that is the data of Anhui province and the six provinces of central China from 2010 to 2015, which analyzed the present situation of High-tech industry in Anhui Province by means of data comparison and literature analysis, and then explored several possible modes of undertaking. Results - With the analysis of the current situation of the development of high-tech industry in Anhui Province, several possible modes for undertaking the transfer of high-tech industries in Anhui Province were explored: The mode of undertaking of Leading Enterprises + Industrial park, the mode of undertaking of differentiated development + Regional comprehensive exploitation and the mode of undertaking "Dynamic industrial Chain" + industrial cluster. Conclusions - Based on the perspective of industrial upgrading, this paper analyzes the shortcomings of Anhui Province in the traditional mode of undertaking industrial transfer and expounds the inherent requirements of innovation industry undertaking. Finally, on the basis of the above analysis, the author explored three possible modes of acceptance.
