The current unbalance occurs in an induction motor with the supply of unbalanced voltage. Existence of an current unbalance occurs by various problems at the time of driving by in crease of the noise not to mention output decrease of a motor by increase of a loss. We confirmed how current unbalance occurred by a voltage unbalance because a slip came to change by the driving situation of a subordinate as for the induction motor. We confirmed that case to run to a low slip in a ratio of the same voltage unbalance rate brought a high current unbalance rate.
In this paper, For Control of the speed sensorless induction motor propose the method which is controled the motor by operating two axis current in input current of the inverter. This method determines frequency of inverter in order to stator electromotive force and E/F ratio for the setting magnetic flux, drives for speed control using a voltage power converter of the induction motor by means of voltage fed converter with current control ability.
This paper deals with fault-tolerant control of five-phase induction motor (IM) drives under single-phase open. By exploiting a decoupled model for five-phase IM under fault, the indirect field-oriented control ensures that electromagnetic torque oscillations are reduced by particular magnitude ratio currents. The control techniques are developed by the third harmonic current injection, in order to improve electromagnetic torque density. Furthermore, Proportional Resonant (PR) regulator is adopted to realize excellent current tracking performance in the phase frame, compared with Proportional Integral (PI) and hysteresis regulators. The analysis and experimental results confirm the validity of fault-tolerant control under single-phase open.
Seasoned laver Pyropia spp. is one of the most well-known Korean traditional seafoods, and is becoming more popular worldwide. Various mixed oils are used in the preparation of seasoned laver; however, there is no information available regarding the effects of the blending ratio of oils on the quality of seasoned laver. In this study, the effects of the blending ratio of corn, sesame, and perilla oils on the oxidation and sensory quality of seasoned laver were monitored and optimized using a response surface methodology. An increase in the proportion of corn and sesame oils resulted in an excellent oxidation induction time, whereas a high ratio of perilla oil reduced the thermal oxidative stability of the mixed oil. In the sensory test, the seasoned laver with the highest proportion of sesame oil was preferred. The optimal blending ratio (v/v) of corn, sesame, and perilla oils for both oxidation induction time ($Y_1$) and sensory score ($Y_2$) was 92.3, 6.0, and 1.7%. Under optimal conditions, the experimental values of $Y_1$ and $Y_2$ were $4.41{\pm}0.3h$ and $5.58{\pm}0.8$points, and were similar to the predicted values (4.34 h and 5.13 points). Our results for the monitoring and optimization of the blending ratio provide useful information for seasoned laver processing companies.
The direct torque control (DTC) scheme features a simple structure thanks to stator flux-oriented control. It has the advantage of robustness against motor parameters variation since only the stator resistance is involved in the control scheme. On the other hand, the disadvantage of DTC is large torque ripple. To reduce the torque ripple, many studies on DTC-space vector modulation (DTC-SVM) schemes, which modulate the duty ratio with a fixed switching cycle, have been proposed. However, there is the difficulty in obtaining the duty ratio for DTC-SVM. Hence, this paper proposes a new duty ratio selection and stator flux calculation methods for reducing torque ripple. Simulations and experiments were carried out to determine the validity of the proposed method. The proposed scheme has simplified the duty ratio command and achieved the same control performance as the conventional duty ratio modulation method without using the information of motor parameters.

Along with the recent trend of complexity and long distance transmission in power system, dynamic analysis of stability considering the load characteristics is an important subject. In this paper, the influence of the induction motor loads on the power system voltage is investigated. The influence of the inductive load ratio and the inertia of induction motor on the voltage response of the power system are examined, and in the case of the high percentage of the induction motor load, induction motors in the power system can lead to transient voltage instability even under the system condition such as switching operation. The application of static condenser(SC) to prevent the transient voltage instability is introduced.

To describe the air flow characteristics within an air cleaner cover and mass air flow sensor (MAFS) entry region installed in a 3.0L engine air induction system, flow visualization, velocity and turbulence intensity measurements were taken in several view planes. A detailed knowledge of the interaction between the design parameters and the flow structures will enhance our understanding of the motions within the flow field and enable engineers to optimize the induction system and reduce the signal-to-noise ratio in the MAFS output. Emphasis is placed on the analysis of coherent motions and the controlling parameters which affect the air flow in the MAFS entrance region over a flow rate of 13-240 kg/hr. The high speed motion pictures illustrated that the air flow generated within the air cleaner cover under steady state condition is quite complex. In both axial and radial planes of the main passage it was found that the flow pattern is remarkably influenced by the air cleaner cover and main passage configuration. A comparison of the flow patterns and measurements in the original and modified air cleaner cover is presented. Measurements from the MAFS indicated an significant reduction in pressure drop and signal noise for the modified cover as compared with the original cover, over an air flow rate of 13-240 kg/hr.

On-line efficiency optimization control of an induction motor drive using neural network is important from the v viewpoints of energy saving and controlling a nonlinear system whose charact81istics are not fully known. This paper p presents a neural networklongleftarrowbased on-line efficiency optimization control for an induction motor drive, which adopts an optimal slip an밍J.lar frequency control. In the proposed scheme, a neuro-controller provides minimal loss operating point i in the whole range of the measured input power. Both simulation and experimental results show that a considerable e energy saving is achieved compared with the conventional constant vlf ratio operation.

The performance of a Synchronous Reluctance Motor (SynRM) in terms of torque and power factor depends on the two-axis inductances $L_d$ and $L_q$ of the machine. The Axially Laminated Anisotropic (ALA) rotor should be proposed in an effort to increase the $L_d/L_q$ ratio and the $L_d-L_q$ difference to secure high torque density and high power factor. So, ALA rotor is suitable for high speed instruments. This paper deals with optimum design of Axially Laminated Anisotropic Synchronous Reluctance Motor (ALA-SynRM) and comparison of characteristics with induction motor. Coupled Finite Element Methodology (FEM) & Response Surface Methodology (RSM) have been used to evaluate optimum design solutions. Comparisons are given with characteristics of a same rated wattage induction motor and those of ALA-SynRM respectively.

Induction motors play an increasing importance in industrial manufacturing. Therefore, the state monitoring systems also have been considering as the key in dealing with their negative effect by absorbing faulty symptoms in motors. There are numerous proposed systems in literature, in which, several kinds of signals are utilized as the input. To solve the multiple faults problem of induction motors, like the proposed system, the vibration signals is good candidate. In this study, a new signal processing scheme was utilized, which transforms the time domain vibration signal into the spatial domain as an image. Then the spatial features of converted image then have been extracted by applying the dominant neighbourhood structure (DNS) algorithm. In addition, these feature vectors were evaluated to obtain the fruitful dimensions, which support to discriminate between states of motors. Because of reliability, the conventional one-against-all (OAA) multi-class support vector machines (MCSVM) have been utilized in the proposed system as classifier module. Even though examined in severity levels of signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), up to 15dB, the proposed system still reliable in term of two criteria: true positive (TF) and false positive (FP). Furthermore, it also offers better performance than five state-of-the-art systems.
