사무소건축의 실내온열환경 평가방법에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation Methods of Indoor Thermal Environment in Office Building)

  • 1. The objective of this paper is to investigate the indoor environment from the viewpoint of interaction between physical environment and the human responses. 2. A continuous measurement has been carried out for 1 year and distribution of variables have been measured for 1 day. 3. The attitude of workers was investigated by a questionnaire. 4. As the result, average luminance represented more than 800-1800 lx in the office, in contrast with less than 1000 lx in the encourage luminance of an office. 5. There was a significant difference of the occupants' response to the light environment between the neighboring environments. 6. Measured thermal conditions are on the edge of the ASHRAE comfort envelope in summer, and in the neighborhood of the lower dry limit of the envelope in spring.

  • Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensors have been most widely used in terrestrial robotic applications because they can provide dense and precise measurements of the surrounding environments. However, the reliability of LiDAR measurements can considerably vary due to the different reflectivities of laser beams to the reflecting surface materials. This study presents a robust LiDAR-based mapping method for the varying laser reflectivities in indoor environments using the framework of simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM). The proposed method can minimize the performance degradations in the SLAM accuracy by checking and discarding potentially unreliable LiDAR measurements in the SLAM front-end process. The gaps in point-cloud maps created by the proposed approach are filled by a Gaussian process regression method. Experimental results with a mobile robot platform in an indoor environment are presented to validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.

농촌지역주민의 실내환경온도에 따른 표준착의량의 추정 (Estimation of Standard Clothing Weight for Rural Residents in Their Indoor Living)

  • The purposes of this study are to know the environmental conditions of rural houses, thermal sensation and clothing weight of rural residents and to estimate the standard clothing weight according to their indoor living temperature. In this study, the 631 rural residents of both sexes and all generations were selected from 5 rural districts of Kyunggi, Kangwon, Chungnam, Chonnam and Kyungbuk province and the surveys which include clothes, environmental conditions and thermal sensation carried out 4 times-once in each season-from July 1989 to April 1990. The results of this study are· as follows. 1. The ranges of outdoor temperature are $21{\sim}31^{\circ}C$ in summer, $7{\sim}20^{\circ}C$ in spring/autumn, $-15{\sim}5^{\circ}C$ in winter and those of indoor temperature are $24{\sim}31^{\circ}C$ in summer, $15{\sim}23^{\circ}C$ in spring/autumn, $11{\sim}17^{\circ}C$ in winter. The ranges of indoor temperature is within comfortable range in spring, summer and autumn but in winter it is below the range. 2. There is a negative relationship between indoor temperature and clothing weight(r = -0.927) and the simple regression equation is as follows. Y = -61.97X + 2048.44(Y : total clothing weight $g/m^2$, X : indoor temperature $^{\circ}C$). 3. There is no significant difference of clothing weight among the thermal sensation, so clothing insulation can not affect the thermal sensation. 4. Clothing weight of light-clothing-weight group is 70~75% of middle-clothing-weight group and clothing weight of heavy-clothing-weight group is 130% of middle-clothing-weight group. So the standard clothing weight for rural residents in their indoor living is estimated as Fig. 6.

  • 실제 영상과 가상의 오브젝트 또는 가상의 환경에 오브젝트를 합성하는 경우 등 사실적인 합성을 결과를 얻기 위해서는 실제 환경과 같은 배경 영상의 정확한 광원 정보가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실내 환경을 배경으로 영상을 합성 하는 과정에 필요한 광원정보를 카메라와 Light Probe를 이용하여 촬영된 단일 영상으로부터 추정하는 기법을 제안한다. 실내에 존재하는 광원들은 정확한 위치정보를 알 수 없는 실외환경에서와 달리 제한된 공간의 원점으로부터 3차원 공간에 위치한 좌표로 나타낼 수 있다. 광원을 추정하기 위해 먼저 실내 공간에 반사도가 높은 Light Probe를 위치하고 디지털 카메라의 적정 노출을 이용하여 광원 추정에 사용할 영상을 획득한다. 광원으로 존재하는 오브젝트의 경우 짧은 노출시간에도 카메라의 영상에 획득된다. 그렇기 때문에 단일 영상에서 광원의 영역을 추정하기 위해 영상처리를 통해 노출 시간을 짧게 하여 촬영한 영상과 비슷하게 밝은 영역만 표현되도록 처리를 한다. 전 처리된 영상으로부터 밝은 영역과 어두운 영역으로 구분을 하고 밝은 영역으로부터 광원의 정보를 추정한다. 추정된 광원들은 실제 렌더링에 곧바로 적용이 가능하며, 이를 통해 배경에 적합한 렌더링 결과를 얻을 수 있다.

  • In this paper, We proposed remote dimming control system for Light Emitting Diode(LED) street light using Power Line Communication(PLC). LED will be used widly by indoor or outdoor lighting because of semi-permanent life and environment restriction. For energy saving of street light, the dimming control system is very necessary and the PLC is a very efficient technique. Thus, in this paper we proposed the remote dimming control system for LED street light using PLC. A performance of the proposed system was validated by experimental results.

바이트반전 전송방식을 이용한 플리커 방지 가시광통신시스템 (Flicker-Free Visible Light Communication System Using Byte-Inverted Transmission)

  • In this paper, we newly developed a byte-inverted transmission method for flicker-free visible light communication (VLC). The VLC transmitter sends original data in the former half period of the clock, and inverted data and in the latter half period of the clock. The VLC receiver receives the original data in the in the former half period of the clock. In this system, we used 480Hz clock that was generated from the 60Hz power line. The average optical power of the LED array in the transmitter is constant, thus flicker-free, in the observation time longer than the period of the clock that is about 2ms. This period is shorter than the maximum flickering time period (MFTP) of 5ms that is generally considered to be safe. This configuration is very useful in constructing indoor wireless sensor networks using LED light because it is flicker-free and does not require additional transmission channel for clock transmission.

  • The purpose of this study is the realization of LED light environment closely resembling the Autumn daylight which people feel comfortable with. This research was conducted through an optical experiment and Emotional evaluation through human's eyes. Human beings are affected by the color of light, quality and light intensity. Unlike the past when human beings have worked mainly in daylight, the urbanites today spend most of the time in indoor spaces. Therefore, the artificial light is needed to strive toward a spectrum of daylight. This study is purposed to provide the pleasant light environment for human beings and build its database. This study course is expected to contribute to the new design methodology of the related fields under the development of the LED emotional lighting color.

  • Localization is one of the key issues of demandable applications, especially smart services. Beside the traditional GPS based localization technique, the localization issue by visible light communications is promising market because of possibility of combining visible light communications with positioning technique for a high accurate, especially indoor localization service. This paper provides the overview and new image sensor scheme for localization issue based on visible light communication. The survey is introduced from core techniques to enhancement issues of localization. We hope these will be the essential references for the impact selection method in implementation and standardization issues.

  • This study attempts to prove a superiority of slide-cover lighting. In order to solve these problems, cover materials with slide-type, blind cover should be prepared to make it easy to replace the light bulbs in a short time and to introduce a sense of decorative taste.   • This paper presents an external light evasion method that rectifies the problem of misrecognition due to external lighting. The fundamental concept underlying the proposed method involves recognition of the differences between two images and elimination of the desynchronized external light by synchronizing the image sensor and inner light source of the optical touch screen. A range of artificial indoor light sources and natural sunlight are assessed. The proposed system synchronizes with a Vertical Synchronization (VSYNC) signal and the light source drive signal of the image sensor. Therefore, it can display synchronized light of the acquired image through the image sensor and remove external light that is not from the light source. A subtraction operation is used to find the differences and the absolute value of the result is utilized; hence, the order is irrelevant. The resulting image, which displays only a touched blob on the touchscreen, was created after image processing for coordination recognition and was then supplied to a coordination extraction algorithm.
