현대 베트남 대중 레스토랑에 나타난 전통적 표현특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Traditional Expression Characteristics of Vietnamese Contemporary Public Restaurants)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate that to see how their traditional characteristics were reflected and expressed in Hanoi vietnamese contemporary public restaurants. For this, We visited Hanoi twice to have onsite research in August 2012 and 2013. According to the results of surveying Vietnamese public restaurants, all of the 12 cases had humane characteristics reflecting Vietnam traditional culture, showing Vietnamese unique traditional characteristics including intangible elements such as natural environment, life culture elements such as food culture, and formative aesthetic elements using indigenous ornaments. Different from luxury restaurants that had trade names on the theme of historical stories related to people or places and expressed various concepts formatively using photographs of Vietnamese politics and history and ornamental elements such as tableware, however, the public restaurants were simple in theme or concept. It is probably because most of the surveyed cases were situated in the old quarter to the north of the Hoan Kiem Lake and in the area to the west of the lake and their target customers were local people, so they reflected the Vietnamese traditional residence style and common people's life rather than designing the restaurants intentionally with specific concepts. As to the spatial expression characteristics of the surveyed cases, casual restaurants in Hanoi expressed only basic structure using basic construction materials and techniques with outdoor spaces in the form of Vietnam traditional tube house, and therefore, the overall atmosphere was contemporary. In indoor spaces as well, the general level was low, using uncharacteristic common design and color and cheap finishing materials and furniture. 83% of all cases showed the pattern of VM-VM-VT, being mainly contemporary by partially adopting Vietnamese unique ornamental elements for their outdoor and indoor spaces and using traditional elements supplementarily.

A Study on the Sign System for the Disaster Prevention Design in the Traditional Villages -The case of Korea & Japan-

  • A traditional village is cultural property where old buildings and traditions are concentrated and also where indigenous traditional cultures can be recognized and experienced directly or indirectly. In addition, traditional villages have been recognized as precious resources to revitalize regional economies through tourism. Currently, signage systems have been developed as for ordinary tourist sites or cities, and concepts or methods for sign system for traditional villages have not yet been established. Therefore, it is necessary to develop disaster prevention-based signage to prevent large-scale disasters, to guarantee the safety of residents, and to increase the satisfaction of visitors in traditional villages as precious resources. A case study is conducted to apply the proposed sign system for traditional villages in Korea and Japan as a tourist-oriented sign system that has been accomplished in Korea and a large disaster-oriented sign system developed with residents as a priority in Japan. The disaster prevention sign system considers the residents since residents are victims when a disaster happens, and guideline to increase the efficacy and satisfaction are suggested. However, this study has definite limits in sucring objectivity because the objects of study are insufficient, and the development of the sign system based on effective disaster prevention considering the features of traditional villages will continue in the future.

충청권 비도심 지역의 교통안전기술 설계 및 적용 (Design and Application of Traffic Safety Technology in Chungcheong non-urban Region)

  • 본 연구에서는 국내 비도심 지역의 교통사고 저감을 위해 충청권을 대상으로 기존연구에서 수행된 관련 문헌 검토, 교통사고분석시스템 자료를 통한 요인분석 및 군집분석과 설문조사, 충청권 교통사고 특성을 분석하여 실정에 맞는 3가지 교통안전기술을 제안한 바에 이어, 실제 적용 가능한 교통안전시설물의 상세 설계 및 테스트베드 적용, 만족도 조사 및 기술개선에 초점을 맞추고 추가 연구를 수행하였다. 제안된 3가지 기술은 충청권 교통안전수준의 향상을 위한 교통안전시설물로서, 보행자 건널목 인식등, 교통약자 노견용 인식 등, 농기계 운행 안전 LED전광판이다. 각각의 기술은 기존 교통안전시설물의 비도심 지역에 적용시 발생가능한 빛 공해 및 제설작업 문제점을 보완하고, 태양광기반 자생기술로서 농촌지역의 교통안전에 기여할 것으로 판단된다.

비행 공력음향 환경 측정을 위한 계측포드 설계 (Design of Instrumented Pod for Flight Aeroacoustic Environment)

  • 새로 설계된 항공기 장착용 외장형 포드의 비행 시험용 계측포드를 설계하였다. 계측포드는 하중, 진동환경 및 공력 가열등 일반적인 항목뿐만 아니라 공력음향 환경에 대한 측정이 가능하도록 제작하였다. 특히 본 논문에서는 국내 최초로 수행 예정인 비행공력 음향 환경 측정에 대하여 집중적으로 다루었다. 계측포드는 MIL-HDBK-1763과 MIL-STD-810 Method 515에서 요구한 공력음향 시험요구 조건을 만족하도록 설계/제작되었다. MIL-STD-810에서 제시한 방법을 활용하여 공력음향 센서의 위치와 측정범위를 결정하였다. 센서는 혹독한 비행시험 환경을 고려하여 ENDEVCO 8510B-2를 사용하였다. 완성된 계측포드의 성능 시험을 위하여 KF-16 Sta. 5에 장착 후 지상 Run-Up 시험을 수행하여 자료를 획득하였다. 자료 분석결과 시스템은 정상적으로 작동하였으나, 공력음향 센서의 측정 범위를 상회하는 음압이 측정되어 비행 시험시 측정범위의 변경이 요구되었다.

국내외 해․하저터널 건설 사례 분석 (Review of Subaqueous Tunneling Case Histories)

  • 최근 전 세계적으로 여러 건의 대규모 해저터널 건설 사업이 완료되었거나 진행 혹은 계획 중에 있다. 우리나라 역시 한중, 한일 해저터널에 대한 기본 구상이 이루어지고 있으며 동시에 국내 도서 지역을 연결하는 해저터널이 구상 단계에 있다. 국내 기술수준과 해저터널 건설이 갖는 파급효과를 고려할 때, 해저터널 관련 기술의 확보 및 개선이 요구되어진다. 이 논문은 사례연구를 통하여 해저터널이 갖는 특징과 국내외 해 하저터널 건설동향을 분석하였고 해저터널과 관련된 사고 발생 사례를 수집하여 이로부터 요구되는 관련기술에 대하여 정리하였다.

Effect of Low Levels of Leucaena Foliage Supplementation on Intake, Natrient Digestibility and Microbial N Yield in Cattle Fed Rice Straw Alone

  • The minimum amounts of leucaena (Leucaena leucocephala) required to improve the performance of cattle on a straw diet has been studied. Four levels of leucaena, namely 0 (0%), 2 kg (10%), 4 kg (18%) and 6 kg (27% of dietary dry matter intake) were supplied to 4 adult indigenous bulls ($355{\pm}21.5kg$ weight) fed rice straw alone, in a $4{\times}4$ latin square design. Measurements were made on intake, digestibility, N balance and microbial N yield. Up to 10% level of leucaena supplementation, there were no significant improvement on intake, digestibility, microbial N yield and N balance. Both straw and total dry matter intake showed diminishing return to increasing levels of leucaena supplementation and the maximum intake was observed at around 20% level. However, dietary N and digestible organic matter intake, the microbial N yield and the N balance increased linearly to the increasing levels of leucaena supplementation. On a rice straw based diet, the minimum level of leucaena required to improve the animal performance would probably be at around 20% of the dietary intake.

Effects of Replacing Nonfiber Carbohydrates with Nonforage Detergent Fiber from Cassava Residues on Performance of Dairy Cows in the Tropics

  • Four Holstein$\times$Indigenous cows with ruminal canulas were used in a 4$\times$4 Latin square design with 28 d periods to determine the effect of replacing nonforage fiber source (NFFS) from cassava residues for non-fiber carbohydrates (NFC) on ruminal fermentation characteristics and milk production. Dietary treatments contained 17% forage neutral detergent fiber (FNDF) from corn silage and 0, 3, 6 and 9% nonforage NDF from cassava residues and 11% nonforage NDF from other NFFS, so that levels of nonforage NDF were 11, 14, 17 and 20% dry matter (DM). Intakes of DM and net energy for lactation, average daily gain and milk fat percentage were not different (p>0.05). Ruminal pH, ammonia concentrations, acetate to propionate ratios, 24 h in sacco fiber digestibility significantly increased with increasing contents of nonforage NDF from cassava residues. Concentrations of VFA, urinary excretion of purine derivatives, milk protein percentage, production of milk and 4% FCM significantly decreased. These results suggest that NFC in diets is one of the limiting factors affecting productivity of dairy cows in the tropics and thus NFFS is better used as partial replacements for FNDF.

Computer Analysis of the Church of Notre-Dame de Lamourguier

  • For more than a hundred years, art and architectural historians, architects, and engineers interested in structure have attempted to interpret Gothic architecture, one of the most technologically complex and sophisticated structural systems in history. Indigenous Gothic, however, such as non-vaulted Gothic in the Lower Languedoc region of southern France, has been largely ignored. This study intends to analyze the Gothic non-vaulted nef unique (aisleless) structures of Lower Languedoc which have never been scientifically tested, and to provide as comprehensive an explanation as possible of the way in which these non-vaulted buildings work. In order to achieve this goal, this paper is to examine, by means of finite element computer analysis, a selected example of an existing building. The church of Notre-Dame de Lamourguier, the earliest surviving example of a Gothic nef unique with wide-span diaphragm arches in Lower Languedoc, is selected. Thus, hypothetical models of diaphragm arch buildings and an existing building as a complete structural system were scientifically analyzed in order to provide a comprehensive explanation of how the non-vaulted nef unique system works. The result of the analysis, allows us better to understand the structural behavior of this type of masonry arcuated system and the processes involved in the design and construction of medieval buildings.

Design of a piezovibrocone and calibration chamber

  • This paper presents the details of indigenous development of the piezovibrocone and calibration chamber. The developed cone has a cylindrical friction sleeve of $150cm^2$ surface area, capped with a $60^{\circ}$ apex angle conical tip of $15cm^2$ cross sectional area. It has a hydraulic shaker, coupled to the cone penetrometer with a linear displacement unit. The hydraulic shaker can produce cyclic load in different types of wave forms (sine, Hover sine, triangular, rectangular and external wave) at a range of frequency 1-10 Hz with maximum amplitude of 10 cm. The piezovibrocone can be driven at the standard rate of 2 cm/sec using a loading unit of 10 ton capacity. The calibration chamber is of size $2m{\times}2m{\times}2m$. The sides of the chamber and the top as well as the bottom portions are rigid. It has a provision to apply confining pressure (to a maximum value of $4kg/cm^2$) through the flexible rubber membrane inlined with the side walls of the calibration chamber. The preliminary static as well as dynamic cone penetration tests have been done sand in the calibration chamber. From the experimental results, an attempt has been made to classify the soil based on friction ratio ($f_R$) and the cone tip resistance ($q_c$).

공예문화산업의 발전방안 연구 (A study on the development of cultural industries craft)

  • 공예문화산업은 '공예 문화로 이루어진 산업'의 의미보다는 '산업으로서의 공예 문화'로 이해하는 것이 바람직하다고 본다. 공예문화산업은 기능, 기술, 기법 또는 토속 원재료를 근간으로 하여, 생산되는 조형제품으로서 제조과정의 주요부분이 수공예적인 특성을 가진 제품을 제조하는 산업을 말한다. 오랜 세월을 걸쳐 역사적으로 전승하여 형성되어온 특정의 공예 문화 관련한 산업이다. 이를 살펴봄으로써 공예문화산업만이 가지고 있는 고유한 특징과 가치를 이해하고 공예 활동이 더 이상 제작의 차원에만 머무르지 않고 제작, 유통, 개발 등 공예문화산업으로 한 국가와 민족의 전통성을 계승하고 표현하는 대표적인 공예 문화 산업분야로써 발전방안에 대한 시장성 연구를 통한 발전방안을 제시하고자 한다.
