20~30대 비만 여성을 위한 블라우스 패턴 개발 (A Study on the Development of Blouse Patterns for Obese Women in Their 20s and 30s)

  • This study examined obese women with a BMI index over than 25 kg/㎡ in their 20s and 30s regarding the right fit for wearing a blouse. In comparison with three types of existing educational patterns, the first educational pattern experimental clothing was produced in dimensions of three study participants selected by the existing pattern to evaluate the fit suitability conducted for groups of study participants and expert groups. Experimental patterns were designed based on educational pattern C, which was the best fit as a result of the fitting evaluation. The main modification items include front bust circumference, hip circumference, back interscye, scye depth, shoulder length, blouse length, bottom line shape, upper arm circumference, wrist circumference, sleeve length and collar size. The design preferences for obese women were reflected in pattern modification; in addition, the final experimental pattern was designed by adding or subtracting margins and dimensions based on the results of the visual matching assessment by study subjects and expert groups.

사용자 질의 패턴을 이용한 효율적인 오디오 색인기법 (An Efficient Audio Indexing Scheme based on User Query Patterns)

  • 디지털 오디오 컨텐츠의 활용이 보편화되면서 오디오 데이타베이스에 대해 컨텐츠를 효과적으로 질의하고 검색하는 기능이 절실해졌다. 본 논문에서는 사용자들이 자주 질의하는 멜로디 부분을 이용하여 오디오 검색을 효과적으로 수행할 수 있는 새로운 인덱스 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법은 어떤 오디오에 대해 사용자가 기억하고 질의하는 내용이 대개 오디오의 특정 부분에 한정되어 있다는 사실에 기반하고 있다. 사용자의 이러한 질의 패턴을 이용하여 자주 질의되는 부분을 감지하고 인덱스로 사용함으로써 사용자가 원하는 곡을 빠르게 찾아낼 수 있게 해준다. 이러한 방법은 데이타베이스의 모든 컨텐츠를 순차적으로 검색하는 기존의 방법에 비해 적은 비용으로 검색 속도를 크게 향상시키며 특히 기존의 검색 시스템 상위 모듈로 사용이 가능하다. 프로토타입 시스템을 구현하고 다양한 실험을 통하여 논문에서 제안하는 기법의 우수성을 보인다.

왜곡 제거 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭에서 빠른 인덱스 구성법 (Fast Index Construction in Distortion-Free Time-Series Subsequence Matching)

  • 본 논문에서는 기존 단일 인덱스 기반의 왜곡 제거 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭의 인덱스 구성 알고리즘을 분석하여 보다 효율적인 인덱스 구성 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 기존 왜곡 제거 시계열 서브시퀀스 매칭의 단일 인덱스 구성 알고리즘은 대용량 시계열 데이터인 경우 왜곡 제거를 고려해야 되는 많은 윈도우로 인해 실제 인덱스 생성에 매우 많은 시간이 걸린다. 본 논문에서는 기존 선형 제거 서브시퀀스 매칭의 인덱스 구성 알고리즘을 예로서 인덱스를 구성하는 각 과정을 체계적으로 분석하여, 각 과정에서 필요한 연산 횟수를 줄이는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해, 저차원 변환하는 과정에서 발생하는 중복되는 연산들을 한 번씩 미리 수행하여 배열에 저장한 후 재사용하는 DF-버컷(DF-bucket)씨의 개념을 제시한다. 실험 결과, 저장 후 재사용 원칙에 따라 인덱스 구성의 효율성을 증대시킨 접근법이 그렇지 않은 접근법에 비해서 인덱스 구성 시간을 평균 32% 에서 55% 까지 줄인 것으로 나타났다.

Taylor-Couette 유동에서 축방향 홈과 반경방향 온도구배의 영향에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study of the Axial Slit Wall and Radial Temperature Gradient Effect on Taylor-Couette Flow)

  • The effect of the radial temperature gradient and the presence of slits in the wall of outer of two cylinders involved in creating a Taylor-Couette flow was investigated by measuring the velocity field inside the gap. The slits were azimuthally located along the inner wall of the outer cylinder and the number of slits used in this study was 18. The radius ratio and aspect ratio of the models were 0.825 and 48, respectively. The heating film wrapped around the inner cylinder was used for generating the constant heat flux and we ensured the constant temperature condition at the outer space of the outer cylinder. The velocity fields were measured by using the PIV(particle image velocimetry) method. The refractive index matching method was applied to remove image distortion. The results were compared with plain wall configuration of Taylor-Couette flow. From the results, the presence of slits in the wall of outer cylinder and temperature gradient increased the flow instability.

Robust Image Similarity Measurement based on MR Physical Information

  • Recently, introduction of the hospital information system has remarkably improved the efficiency of health care services within hospitals. Due to improvement of the hospital information system, the issue of integration of medical information has emerged, and attempts to achieve it have been made. However, as a preceding step for integration of medical information, the problem of searching the same patient should be solved first, and studies on patient identification algorithm are required. As a typical case, similarity can be calculated through MPI (Master Patient Index) module, by comparing various fields such as patient's basic information and treatment information, etc. but it has many problems including the language system not suitable to Korean, estimation of an optimal weight by field, etc. This paper proposes a method searching the same patient using MRI information besides patient's field information as a supplementary method to increase the accuracy of matching algorithm such as MPI, etc. Unlike existing methods only using image information, upon identifying a patient, a highest weight was given to physical information of medical image and set as an unchangeable unique value, and as a result a high accuracy was detected. We aim to use the similarity measurement result as secondary measures in identifying a patient in the future.

Fuzzy Keyword Search Method over Ciphertexts supporting Access Control

  • With the rapid development of cloud computing, more and more data owners are motivated to outsource their data to cloud for various benefits. Due to serious privacy concerns, sensitive data should be encrypted before being outsourced to the cloud. However, this results that effective data utilization becomes a very challenging task, such as keyword search over ciphertexts. Although many searchable encryption methods have been proposed, they only support exact keyword search. Thus, misspelled keywords in the query will result in wrong or no matching. Very recently, a few methods extends the search capability to fuzzy keyword search. Some of them may result in inaccurate search results. The other methods need very large indexes which inevitably lead to low search efficiency. Additionally, the above fuzzy keyword search methods do not support access control. In our paper, we propose a searchable encryption method which achieves fuzzy search and access control through algorithm design and Ciphertext-Policy Attribute-based Encryption (CP-ABE). In our method, the index is small and the search results are accurate. We present word pattern which can be used to balance the search efficiency and privacy. Finally, we conduct extensive experiments and analyze the security of the proposed method.

다파장 광원을 이용한 폴리머 광도파로형 SPR 센서 (The polymer waveguide type SPR sensor using a multi-wavelength light source)

  • In this paper, we fabricated the polymer waveguide type surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor using a white light source and optical spectrum analyzer (OSA). Fabricated sensor uses the principle of phase matching between evanescent wave and surface plasmon wave. According to the measuring result, the shift of resonance wavelength conducts the change of the refractive index. The proposed SPR sensor is expected to apply the integrated multichannel SPR sensor and the realtime monitoring system.

The Reliability of Preoperative Simulation Surgery Planning for Distraction Osteogensis in Craniosynostosis Patients

  • Background Craniosynostosis management using distraction osteogensis represent a challenge for surgeons due to the great variability of the skull deformity even within the same etiology. The ability to apply the simulation surgery for improving the preoperative planning for distraction osteogensis could improve the results.Planning and Simulation 14 patients presented with craniosynostosis had been subjected to simulation surgery prior to real surgery. 3D CT scans was obtained upon patient admission. Adjustment of all skull position to Frankfort horizontal plane was done. 3 different distraction osteogensis plans were done for each patient according to the skull morphology. For each plane, movement for each bone segment was done according to the pre-planned distraction vectors. Also the distances of distractions were pre-determined according to the cephalic index as well as brain volume. Intraoperatively, we choose the most appropriate plan for the patient by the surgeon. At the end of distraction, 3D CT scan was obtained, and was compared to the simulation plan. Also the distance and the direction of distraction was compared to that of the plan. Accordingly, the distance was almost matching that of the simulation surgery, however the vector of distraction was not matched.Conclusion Preoperative stimulation planning for craniosynostosis patient is very valuable tool in the surgical management of craniosynostosis patients.

움직임 벡터와 빛의 특징을 이용한 비디오 인덱스 (Video Indexing using Motion vector and brightness features)

  • 본 논문에서는 움직임 벡터와 빛의 세기를 이용하여 비디오의 인덱싱과 검색 기법에 대하여 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 움직임 벡터의 특징과 빛의 세기를 계산하여 각 샷 당하나의 대표프레임을 추출하였다. 각각의 대표프레임은 빛의 흐름을 계산하였다. 즉 움직임벡터의 특징은 빛의 흐름으로부터 얻어냈고, BMA 는 움직임 벡터를 찾기 위해 사용했다. 그리고 빛의 세기 값을 히스토그램으로 변환 한 후 컷 검출에 사용하였다. 비디오 프레임의움직임 벡터와 빛의 세기 특징을 기반으로 비디오 데이터를 구성하고 인덱싱 하였다. 비디오 데이터베이스는 비디오의 접근을 위해 내용기반을 제공하고, 인덱스 특징은 B+ 트리 검색을 사용했고, 내부적으로 구성되어 단 노드 방식으로 저장되어 컴퓨터 저장장치에 직접 접근할 수 있게 했다. 본 논문에서는 비디오 데이터 모델을 기반으로 한 비디오 인덱스의 문제를 정의하였다.

대전시 여성과 베트남 이주여성의 단축형 사상체질진단 설문지(KS-15) 응답 비교 (A Comparative Study of Response of KS-15 Questionnaire between Migrant Vietnam and Daejeon Women)

  • Objectives The aim of this study was to reveal the difference of body shape, personality, physiological characteristics between migrant Vietnam and Daejeon women using propensity matching. Methods The number of 274 Vietnamese migrant women and Daejeon city women participate in this study. We surveyed Sasang Constitution (SC) expressive factor, such Body Mass Index (BMI) using Korea Sasang Constitutional Diagnostic Questionnaire (KS-15). A Chi-square test and a T-test were used. Significant p was .05. Results The height, weight and BMI of Daejeon women was bigger than those of Vietnam(p<.001). There was significant difference in personality characteristics in 'broad mind-narrow mind'(p<.001), 'Active-Passive'(p<.001), 'Masculine-Feminine'(p=.002). There was significant differentce in physio-pathological symptom in 'digestion'(p<.001), 'urine time'(p<.001), 'feeling cold/heat'(p=.006). There was significant differentce in distribution of SC between Vietnam and Daejeon women(p=.025). Conclusions This study reveals that there is differentce in body shape, personality, physiological characteristics between Vietnam and Daejeon women. These factors might influence on SC distribution between Vietnam and Dajeon women
